Hope you'll enjoy watching.
Kept a diary for over twenty years. When my daughter was old enough to be interested in my life I began to tell her stories. She corrected me on a few details of things I had not told her yet! Turns out she had found my diaries in the garage when she was 14 and read them all!
Listening to MP on the radio and I’ve lost interest. I loved it when I was watching a documentary/bio on someone and there’s Michael in the foreground with the world’s enormous poster displaying.....His Diaries! Can’t get away fro them.
I've been writing them since 2001 and I still do. MY hubby thinks it's a pointless exercise. But I love it. I look back sometimes and think, "Did I really do/say that!?" or worse, "I don't remember that!".
I need to find a Spam pencil bucket like that
I wish I had known about Michael before. I never got to watch the British comedy shows in high school. Very happy stuff❤

Amazing, this was like having a chat with a beloved uncle. I've been meaning to take another stab at keeping a diary, too...
Thanks Michael Palin! Big Fan. I'm and artist and been keeping a diary for 10 years now. I write notes in a small pocket-notepad throughout the day, then before I go to bed I write a few pages. I find it relieves anxiety and hastens falling asleep.
Love this. Yet I tried several times to keep a diary and it never worked. Might try it again some time ;)

I think that's such a great idea! I wish I wouldn't be so freaking lazy and could actually keep a diary for the rest of my life...I mean, imagine how cool that is! I could go back to every day of my past and look up what I did then and there, it's just amazing! I just turned 18, so it may even make sense to start this year.
The spam tin with pencils in it is a great touch and reference to the famous spam sketch :D
Those are gold, I'm sure. Love you forever.
