Rosy, thank you for your comment about…”not everyone wants to purchase a large plant.” Count me in on that.

I love Verbena bonariensis, I want tons of it everywhere in my garden as it complements the yellow ethereal flowers of bronze fennel so well, but can I get it to self seed in the back garden? NO. Does it survive my winters? NO, except for where It likes coming up in the cracks of the driveway, but I can never transplant it to the garden without it dying.

    Very interesting.. Thank you Rosy.
You’ve taught me so much, and I get so excited by your plant combinations, but then I can’t buy any of them 😢. I live in the north of Ireland and I can no longer purchase online from all the wonderful growers in the UK mainland. It has been going on for years and it’s so depressing. There is limited choice locally, and it’s mostly from the Netherlands. I wish someone could help to resolve this issue. I’ve written to 10 MP’s, but they all cite the same old nonsense about Brexit and nothing improves. The RHS talk about bringing inclusivity to gardening, but if you happen to live where I do, it definitely doesn’t feel that way.
My passion for plants has been thwarted, and it has really dampened my enthusiasm. I just wish things could go back to how they were before. I do miss the thud of the seed and plant catalogues landing in the porch… kind regards from a very depressed gardener.

Especially loved your video on Michaelmas Daisies, and was so inspired by your lovely selection. I am looking forward to planting a row of Jessica Jones, at the back of my new border, a row of White flowered Rosemary, in the middle and a row of Mexican fleabane at the front. Intersected with White Roses. Cannot wait to put my order with you. Love your plants and your Channel. Happy New Year.

Thanks for that interesting countdown of your top ten sellers. I love Geums and I've just been in my garden and noticed a Totally tangerines about to burst into flower. This mild weather has got poor plants confused.

My Verbena doesn't self seed here in the East Midlands, but sometimes I do get the odd one coming through, so all is not lost. Love the Kent Beauty plant.

I have the same problem with verbena bonarenensis but I do manage to keep it going. I gave some to my sister and it grows much more vigorously and looks much better.

Rosy, I have had a simlar problem with Verbena Bonariensis. But I did notice quite a few years ago, that it would self seed in damp shady areas. It grew really well on the edge of a shady lawn.
