Always use the combination between thermal image and moister measurer. We use the GANN UNI1 with B50 probe. It doesn't give the moisture exactly but measures the conduction in the wall. You can use a conversion table but it is not completely accurate. The advantage is that it measures deeper than the demonstrated tool. Useful if you need to know more about deeper vested moisture like rising damp etc. And by the way: Always measure the relative humidity and temperature. Some moisture can only be seen if it vapors and the partial pressure has to be low for it to do so.

This has strong Auralnauts copper vibes but I'm ready for the future in the laser mines.
I have a CAT S61 with FLIR imaging and it's a pretty nice tool. Wish the software allowed for a bit more customization, like not automatically adjusting the scale; sometimes I don't want relative temperature. But this sort of technology is fun.
