I had this happen in p5s, was my co-tank. Said in the PF “c41” and ironic enough it was my co-tank who made the C41. TLDR it was NOT a c41, he never Voked after Venomous Mass xdd, messed up devour multiple times, and when I finally called him out on it he said “I actually have never done this fight I just wanted to see how far I’d get.” Needless to say Everyone’s blacklist increased that day.
In my experience people making C41 groups are usually the 1. And the C stands for "carry".

What an awful horrible person, setting up that godawful trap to catch 7-unsuspecting victims into her diabolical scheme.
I play SMN in my static so I can be one less person who fails mechanics and I can even help with callouts, since SMN rotation is so brain dead.
SMN’s who still constantly fail mechanics…they scare me 😟

Might be one of the suggested names for female Hyurs. After a while you do recognize certain names and either it's from some known media or it's a recommended name.
Because FFXIV players are wildly uncreative. Take a drink everytime you see someone with "Luna" in their name (don't actually because you'll die of alcohol poisoning).

It takes ages for me to learn mechs but i usually get them down
i'm just like lillith sometimes tbh, even on ''easy'' jobs like machinist it just takes me a bit longer then most people to learn new mechanics and i always feel bad holding the rest of the group back ^^' its why i almost always do my progs in party finder bc i just feel less bad messing up in that context then in front of friends and stuff
i dont lie about my prog point though, and i try to be upfront with my groups about it

I am a sprout still and before I start a dungeon with party members I watch videos to familiarize myself with the mechanics.
Hell yea good on ya! It's not something that's absolutely necessary. I feel like as long as my DPS/Healer can handle big pulls with AoE/DPS, I dont mind them messing up on bosses. But going above and beyond to learn the boss mechanics beforehand, nice going!

Not needed for normal content. It's more expected with extremes and above.

This is precisely why i let go of 14. Too many people cant do mechs. I wasnt the best at optimizing my jobs but i was pretty good at following mechs. To make matters worse, recruiters WILL see that im not the best with rotations through fflogs bullshit, but will never see that i usually never cause party wipes.
I still play the game but I gave up on savage. I have a hard time optimizing my jobs due to various reasons but I never wiped the party with a mech. My friends had a talk with me about my logs and that I'm the reason why they are stuck on P7S with me. :) I'm just average with my rotation not outstandingly good. I jumped into PF the next day alone and cleared it without them. I'm sick of it. If you have a group of "casual" friends to play with it's more fun I guess. But yeah just keep the player who sucks at doing the mechs....
Tbh If everyone is average at their job and does the mechanics right you should clear just fine.
I’m actually thinking of taking a break myself. I really do love raiding now that I got into it, my static burnt out at p8s animals 2, and finding people to clear it with is so draining now.
If you know the basics of your job and aren't dying, there's no excuse for having below a 40% on logs.

Damn, it's almost like you're playing with other humans. This is why I moved away from raiding in MMOs. I can't stand listening to grown ass adults having temper tantrums over shit that just doesn't matter. If you want a feeling of self-accomplishment, you're better doing something that doesn't rely so heavily on other people. You can play perfectly every single time, but there's always gonna be those one or two people that just don't get it. You can't expect everyone's learning curve to be the same as yours. Either have some patience with people, cut them from the group, or do something else. Losing your cool like this just reflects poorly on you, not the person you're trying to humiliate.
Or you can just play the game and mute the idiot who keeps yelling all the time
