Steel Vengeance and maverick standing 100 feet from each other, I'm surprised a rip in space hasn't occurred from how much elite power there is between the two
Interesting method! Here’s how I would have done it: take the 4 coaster community polls that you did, then take the top coasters in the park and average their score. Then I would average the scores of each 1-2 punch across the coaster polls.
I agree, averaging the scores is a better method

If it was 1-2-3-4-5-6 punch, Hersheypark would take #1.
I'm glad that Hersheypark ranks so high, especially against the "group" parks, like Six Flags and Busch Gardens. Hersheypark is my local park and is a great park, just like Knobles and Dorney. Sometimes these older local parks get less love than the corporate parks.
if you did 1-2-3 punch parks, Cedar Point and Hershey would still be the top 2.

How I would rank 1-2 punches
1 Superman The Ride + Wicked Cyclone
2 Steel Vengeance + Maverick
3 I305 + Twisted Timbers
4 Skyrush + Wildcat's Revenge (only this low because im not a big fan of WR skyrush is amazing though)
5 Twisted Colossus + X2
6 Iron Gwazi + Montu
7 Mako + Pipeline (im the biggest fan of both of these coasters)
8 Mystic Timbers + Orion
9 Fury 325 + Copperhead Strike
10 Iron Rattler + Wonder Woman GLC
My personal favorite is Wildcats revenge(my #1) and Storm runner(my #3) but Steel vengeance(my #2) and Maverick(my #7) are pretty close

For the next one do top 3 , 4, and 5. Assuming Cedar Point will win all, esp now with TT2 but it would be interesting to see if parks like holiday world and SWO went up a lot and how bad KK and KD would fall
Darn six flags great america is lagging. It has a b + m hyper and an rmc and a launch etc, totally stacked lineup, but nothing is the crowd favorite of its ride type. Vastly superior lineup to most parks, top 10 for sure, up there with cedar point, mm, herschry, great adventure kings island bgt. But totally fails 1-2 punchwise

B&M sells them both as Hypers, they just have other heights, but the model, the train and track design is nearly/exactly the same, so they are the same model.
I know that. It still is considered a hyper model so I referred to it as so.

The only problem with the method is that most of the respondents are Americans. Parks like Energylandia, Liseberg etc should be on here but arent because of the respondents havent ridden them. However I really like the objective method.
Also, personally, a 1-2 punch means two great coasters that complement each other well (like KD), not Kentucky Kingdom. But thats just personal preference and cant really ve objectified.
This list was completely focused on North America. I’m thinking of doing an international version sometime soon :)
Woah woah woah!! Some of these 1-2 punches have a lot of other punches!!!! You should make a method to x out parks like cedar point from winning cause they just have an overall elite line up
Meh. Thoosies doing thoosie things. Of course Cedar Point would take number one. I don’t get all the love for Kings Dominion though. I didn’t care at all for I-305 and Twisted Timbers is just another mid-tier RMC.

Idk about the best but I’ve heard it’s a hella good ride.
Mystic Timbers is the most overrated coaster any Ohio I just to get the hype for it.
