I felt sorry for that cat. They really got screwed over. Even after what they did to Alyx, my mind at this scene was like “ Aaahh ! You didn’t have to kill them !! “.
I know I'm one of the few. But it broke my heart for CC to die. 1st villain in RWBY I had hoped would get a redemption. Probably cuz he was a fun character and just so cute.
Seeing how it became so villainous, on one hand you can understand how it is so broken after millennia of giving away parts of itself to help aferins, on the other the moment it took a simple change of heart from Alyx (who may have never wanted to take him back to remnant at all) and how it could have just been a little longer for them to return to the tree and leave that amount of time could have made her promise genuine, Curious cat however took it too personal, consumed by its overwhelming desire for knowledge and the truth attacked a young child and killed her out of rage, then proceeded to manipulate and wear down any human he could to take over the body to leave. That moment he was beyond redemption; if he killed a child just because he was delayed from knowing the truth, he deserved a fate if not similar but just a step worse.
Honestly find it kinda bullshit that Neo was allowed to get her happy ending alongside a cathartic goodbye to Roman. Roman was a horrible man who died a deserved death, Neo did his bidding of her own accord and killed countless innocents. She deserved a painful death as much as the cat did.
Yeah, this honestly doesn't seem satisfying. Considering the whole lore of the world they're currently in, the fact the cat was basically made to be they way he is from day one, essentially going mad from possibly hundreds of years trapped in the world when he desired freedom to explore remnant, having this whole big lore dump that death in that world is the next big step for the people to become what they need to be, then outright killing him using the jabberwock who is full on death death of that world, yeah not satisfying in any way shape or form. Especially with how pathetic of a death it is with all the fighting he did just a few minutes before hand.
I wouldn’t say he was pathetic, he was definitely tired down to the point he went back to his smaller form. He was jumped through and through. Jumped by RWBY+J and the Jabberwocks. Bro was done dirty.
To a small degree, I pity them. The Cat had a role but also a curse of insatiable curiosity, and was left incomplete by the GoL's thoughtlessness This duzent excuse the Cat's evils, but in some way they make me think of Salem, another the GoL (and the GoD) treated unfairly. Yes, Salem tricked the Gods and turned some of humanity against them but their attempt to teach her a lesson only made her a scourge upon humanity, making them pay for the Gods' actions via Salem. The Cat was given insatiable curiosity and perhaps they could have freed themself of that burden by undergoing ascension, but they were obsessed with leaving the Ever After and finding their creators. Alyx broke her promise to the Cat but their reaction of killing her was unjust I wonder if the Cat "giving others a piece of their heart" to help them had an adverse effect on them too. Like... the more they gave away the less kind and caring and considerate of others they became, and instead becoming filled with envy, loathing, and anger The Curious Cat is actually the second (or first) example of the Gods' mistakes having consequences on others, and they have the _gall_ to state they intend to judge humanity once the Relics are united? I hope Ruby can use all that she learned to convince them that humanity is worth protecting and existing despite their flaws and their misdeeds and their tendency to make the wrong choices The Gods created humanity on the ideals of Creation, Destruction, Knowledge, and _Choice_ - The first three are more neutral in comparison but Choice is erhaps the most important ideal of them all. We all must choose our own paths, our own actions, and sometimes we make the wrong choices that can result in consequences not only for the one making the choice but others as well. Alas, many humans (such as Salem, Oz, Cinder, Torchwick, Neo, Watts, Hazel, Tyrion, Raven, Lionheart, Ironwood, Jacques, and so on) have indeed made the wrong choices, some for their own selfish intentions, others for misguided righteousness. The very fact humanity was given Choice makes them by default a flawed creation, and instead of truly recognizing that the Gods are holding all of humanity accountable for the wrongs and misdeeds of a few in comparison The Curious Cat however was never given a choice, not really. They were created to fulfill a role, a role that became increasingly pointless and gave the Cat no joy or fulfillment, only the emptiness that comes from a curiosity that can never be sated no matter what they learn. Again, this duzent excuse the Cat but it helps us understand why they turned out this way, and met this... grimm fate
As the saying goes. "Curiosity killed the cat" 😈
The Lion King(Classic) over again
Lol that expression always gets misused. It's supposed to finish as "but satisfaction brought it back."
oh lol lol lol good one pal good one
Guess it's true what they say. "There's more than one way to skin a cat."
A bunch of soul eating demons is definitely one way
Ngl it kind of reminded me of Hopper's death from A Bug's Life, and I remembered laughing at that part too.
his death reminds me of Scar's Death. both of their last words is "No!" Then they get eaten alive
I felt sorry for that cat. They really got screwed over. Even after what they did to Alyx, my mind at this scene was like “ Aaahh ! You didn’t have to kill them !! “.
I was like “well jee, you don’t have to be that savage with him, not like you’re any better”
This is where your justice ends

Nah Neo’s a cute anime girl so she gets a pass
What happy ending? She lost her purpose and "reset" herself.
@@Sungura_Kaiser which is more then what male villains get
@Vishaan Singh only 2 female villains have died compared to most of male villains
