CI are the masters of caveman slam - no competition! Don't care if this track is simple or easy or whatever, it's a real banger. Everytime I hear that outro slam I just want to throw down and punch somebody in the face.
Added some of my own special sauce with the pinch harmonics, other than that I stayed true to the original.
Speaking of the original, I like the album mix, it's raw and honest. But with the cover I wanted to try out a different sound, something a little more polished and modern. It works nicely with the track I think although I might have overdone it a little with the reverb.
There's more stuff in the works, not only slam, also brutal and technical death metal so stick around :)

I'm using a Peavey 6505+ head for this cover. It has a very thick sound, no matter if 6, 7 or more strings :) Also, thick strings and high output pickups. You can find more recording/gear info in the description. Thanks for watching my man!

What type of Ibanez guitar do you use?
Ibanez RGAIX6FMT in trans gray flat. They're not in production anymore unfortunately. I found mine used for a good price about a year ago. It's a really nice guitar.
