When it comes to the world of investing, most people don't know where to start. Fortunately, great investors of the past and present can provide us with guidance.
I’m not sure why people keep asking for a $25k consumer model. For buyers in this segment, it would actually be cheaper to hail a robotaxi for every trip rather than owning the vehicle outright. It’s a win-win: consumers get a more affordable option with the same, if not better utility, and Tesla can generate recurring revenue through its fleet of robotaxis (which Wall Street loves). Plus, when the robotaxis aren’t driving people and are sitting idle at night charging on cheap electricity, their powerful chips contribute to distributed computing. Their robotaxis will be making money 24/7!
Месяц назад+1
Whats your math on that? If I can run a £25k car into the ground in 10 years (i would expect more) there is no way it would be cheaper to robotaxi everywhere every single day even if I add running costs, insuance and charging.
@@hedonismbot1508 Elon said production starts in 2025, volume production in 2026, 2M vehichles/yr being produced by 2027. Uber has 1.7M drivers in the US (and they don't all work 12+ hours a day like the robotaxi will). Even if Tesla reaches 900,00 units/yr (same as Ford F-Series) this will quickly decimate any other rideshare program. Tesla's parallel manufacturing + robotaxi economics are going to drastically change US transportation by 2030
Tesla said it will cost them $0.30/mile to operate the robotaxi. If they get a 30% margin on each mile, that brings a robotaxi ride to $0.46/mile. It will vary for everyone, but consider the cost to own, operate, insure, garage, and repair. You'll find owning a $25k car will come above that $0.46/mile. The average US costs are $0.70/mile. And ubers cost $1-2/mile.
I have HW3 and the free FSD a month till almost the end of next month is almost perfect just need a few tweaks. I can go to the park 5 miles away with my dog every day without problems except I cant turn off freeway on the route.
A bunch of complainers on comments here. All thing considered... This is a very interesting channel and seems to be Very Accurate information! Thanks! Liked and subscribed awhile back.
This refresh seems strategic for Tesla, not just a design refresh but a statement of intent. The light bar itself isn’t merely cosmetic; it aligns the Model Y more closely with the futuristic vibe Tesla is fostering across its lineup, from the Cybertruck to the Robo Van. It’s a subtle yet powerful visual cue about where Tesla wants to take its brand identity-bold, high-tech, and unmistakably forward-thinking. Beyond aesthetics, the Model Y refresh could well be setting a new industry standard in terms of performance, efficiency, and manufacturing simplicity, just as the Model 3 Highland did. The timing also appears strategic. By launching in China first, Tesla can test out new designs and features in the world’s largest EV market, then fine-tune production for the U.S. and Europe. This phased rollout could allow Tesla to keep supply steady, maintain demand for existing models, and ensure a seamless upgrade path for the “old” Model Y inventory without disrupting the brand’s momentum.
If you have trouble affording any car, you have no business treating yourself to a new one to begin with. The good news is, the "affordable model" has been around since the first talking head complained about EV depreciation.
I read Elon's comment of free HW3 upgrades as only for users who pay for FSD up front, not for users who just want to subscribe monthly. On the one hand, that's frustrating because as a shareholder I want as many monthly subscribers as possible to increase MRR, while there's still too much focus on trying to get people to prepay for FSD, which is cost prohibitive and unattractive for lease customers compared to the monthly subscription. Hopefully they will at least offer the HW3 upgrade to a monthly subscriber who's willing to commit to a 12 month subscription or something comparable.
Incredible video! The details on these cars are impressive, and the quality of this review is spot on. But one thing I’d recommend to anyone looking to buy an exotic car, or make any large automotive investment, is to work with a good financial advisor. I’ve personally been consulting with a top advisor, Stephanie Janis Stiefel, for years. She’s fantastic, and having her guidance has kept me in the green with all my financial decisions, especially when it comes to big purchases like these. She’s reliable, has an excellent track record, and you can find her online pretty easily. Just a thought for anyone serious about getting into the exotic car game!
Totally agree! Exotic cars aren’t like your regular purchase, they can be a huge investment, and having someone like Stephanie Janis Stiefel is a big plus. She helped me analyze all the costs beyond just the purchase price, like maintenance and insurance, and she even gave me tips on how to get a good resale value if I ever wanted to switch. Highly recommend her
I’m actually in the market for a Ferrari Roma, and the price is a little overwhelming! Would love to connect with Stephanie Janis Stiefel. Just looking at financing options, and it feels like I could use some guidance to make sure I’m making a smart move here.
I’ve worked with Stephanie too! She’s amazing, helped me structure my finances in a way that allowed me to afford a McLaren 720S without dipping too far into savings. She knows her stuff and makes the entire process feel more manageable.
This is so true. I bought my first exotic a few years ago without much planning, and let’s just say I paid for it. Wish I’d known about Stephanie back then, but I did end up finding her later. She’s been great at helping me balance my collection and my other investments. Makes a world of difference
As someone who just started looking at Lambos, I really appreciate these comments. I was wondering if anyone here has more info on Stephanie Janis Stiefel? I’d love a good recommendation before diving in
I'm not sure if you'll read my comment, but I want to say that your channel was very realistic three years ago. For three years, I eagerly awaited Mechazilla's success and your discussion about it, but surprisingly, you never mentioned it at all.
Misleading and you're doing everyone no favours with "guest renders". Like the big man says, please don't harm current sales. It's only months away from offical launch. Be patient.
I purchased my Model 3 a few months after it was released. Fall/Winter of 2018. I love it and I always felt my future cars will all be Tesla cars. I’m now looking at Rivian as an alternative. Not mainly because of Elon’s political views but mostly because of all the nonsense. Between “goth MAGA”, the fake freedom of speech nonsense etc I’m just not really sure if I want to contribute my money to help make him richer. It’s sad because he’s a smart and visionary guy. He should focus on his business.
He's literally just investing in his companies for his future visions that are beyond most people. He already made it to cash out levels it's not his focus. Politics are always a confusing battle because it's based off people's beliefs. It's definitely showcased in a way of a falling regime America though. Only seems nonsense cause of the nonsense times we're in for people to vote for.
I honestly think Elon Musk's xAI42x is the safest bet for long term hold, and will survive out of every other altcoins. It will get adopted in US, Ecuador, Asia, starting from Japan, and slowly spread out and gain. This is a winning coin, apart from all the technical greatness.
Tesla's Model Y Juniper refresh is in production, featuring a front light bar. Tesla stock surged 20% after positive Q3 earnings. Cybertruck achieved profitability, and Tesla plans to launch more affordable models in 2025. The company also announced a new low-voltage connector standard.
We spend billions on driving aids for humans (signs, lights, lines, rumble strips, etc.). Seems we should do the same for AI machine drivers ... DOT and state DOTs need to work this ... remember the AI machines can automatically provide feedback to the DOTs where they get confused ... this would create a feedback loop to accelerate the adoption of robo taxies and other such vehicles.

More cost effective to use new model 3 headlights. I’m guessing that.

I think the affordable models are M3 with molded plastic body panels.
