Seems as though you liked the Liberator HPs perhaps a little more than Garand Thumb. A guy that spoke with him told me he didn’t try the various modes, and maybe didn’t them fair shake. Could you elaborate on the modes and whether they are comparable to the ComTac Defenders? I don’t mind spending a little more, but certainly appreciate that the HPs come with gel cups. Thanks for your videos!

The modes are nice. Especially mode 3 which offers more suppression of super loud noise like when I am shooting the SCAR17. The current models with the new battery caps and battery life should be good to go. Comtacs are good too and simpler to use. Can't go wrong with either.

Liberator HP 2.0 that just came out...or Sordin Supreme X?
I like the new battery compartment of the 2.0. They are both priced around the same.

Where did you get those comtac defenders with that headband? Thanks!

Do the Peltor Comtac III block more noise and amplify talking to a louder volume than the MSA Sordin? I have the Sordin but it doesn't isolate enough on loud indoor ranges with 5.56 SBRs and muzzle brakes, and when I wear earplugs underneath the talking amplification isn't loud enough.

You're still going to want to double up when shooting indoors and SBRs

@@fiftyshadesoffde for sure, to clarify I will still e doubling up. Just inquiring if the Comtac block more noise than the Sordin, and if they amplify talking to a higher volume? Thanks

@@jlomein they both don't sound very loud with earplugs in. I'd say they're about the same. The best system is the Ops-Core AMPs and NFMI earplugs but that's an incredible amount of price increase.
