      @@jvanek8512 We need to use 64 as the age cut-off (the CDC data uses that as the cut-off; there's no readily available data using 60 as the cutoff). To date, there have been approximately 30 million reported cases in the US in the under-65 age group. If the fatality rate were 0.02%, there would have been c.6,000 fatalities in that group. Instead, in reality, there have been approximately 165k deaths in the under-65 group, which is a fatality rate slightly more than 0.5%. In other words, the original poster's numbers are off by a factor of more than 25, or more than 2 and a half orders of magnitude.
      The rocket ship who's trajectory is off by 2-and-a-half orders of magnitude doesn't land on the target planet, it crashes into the sun - so, no, we aren't on Earth! ;-)

Looking at this slide, what is described in "how it works" is totally different than what you described in your video on RNA vaccines. The description you offered there matches the subunit description in this slide, which is well established.

      Incorrect. This vaccine set wasn't rushed at all. mRNA vaccines simply have the ability to be synthesized far more efficiently and effectively as opposed to typical watered down viral loads which then have to be studied and tested for efficacy. mRNA would seem to do the reverse. The body is told how to do a thing (the mRNA instruction sets) and then a cell can be exposed to the virus to test. As opposed to the cell being exposed to the virus and then determining how best to provoke the immune response.
      Think of it like this - you know a flood is coming your way. Your home has the potential to be flooded or be in the path. Typical vaccines would wait to see the flood before taking any action at all to shore up, and by that time you will suffer greatly as you try to shore up to prevent it from becoming much worse. mRNA vaccines would have already put up sandbags in preparation, regardless of whether the flood came your way or not. If the flood did happen your way, you already have the prep set up AND now can shore up even more as needed because you're 10 steps ahead of it. Some water will get through (see: side effects) but the leakage will be exponentially minimal and easily contained.

    thanks for the effort in creating your video-- a few extremely important facts to consider:
    1. Assuming that everyone on earth got infected, we know that 94% of deaths were from people who had 2.9 comorbidities (directly from the CDC's website). So the 2% ratio average is inaccurate and dramatically skews the death total you projected.
    2. MRNA vaccines have not been approved by the FDA. If you go to the FDA factsheets, you'll see them listed as unapproved, for emergency release only.
    3. We don't know the long-term effects these synthetic biologics have on our immune systems because this is the first time they've been used on humans and especially en masse. We actually don't know how each person will develop their unique responses over time which could lead to severe autoimmune issues.
    4. One shot fits all? Why would you give a vaccine to people that have already been exposed and developed anitbodies?

    Thank you. Please answer these questions:
    1. Do we for sure know which cell types end up targeted by the mRNA and manufacturing the spike proteins?
    If we don't know for at least 99.99% then it is a dangerous method. What if red blood cells, ... become the spike protein factory?!!
    2. Are the spike proteins appear on the surface of the mRNA-targeted cells thus get their structure modified, or do such cells completely excrete the protein even from the surface?
    If (also) on the surface, then it is a dangerous method. This means those modified cells can be targeted by any type of viruses that use that specific spike protein to inject its genome to the cell for mass production. Like a channel under the walls of a city that can be abused by any enemy who knows that channel.
    3. If there are mutations in the covid10 virus that modifies or dumps this specific signature spike protein, then all those covid19 injections will be to some extent or completely useless!!
    Then we have to inject again with a new vaccine and a new spike proteins. I understand that this is multiplicatively benefitial in long term for that sect of the pharma which produces mRNA vaccines.

      Important> I'm not a doctor, this isn't medical advice.
      To address part of your concerns, Red Blood Cells (RBCs) have no ribosomes, and thus, can't act on mRNA to produce the proteins instructed. They lack ribosomes because they also lack a nucleus and a DNA, they are not expecting any mRNA in their daily function.
      As I'm sure someone will point this out, before they fully mature RBCs do indeed have ribosomes and mRNA. I have no information how those interact with CoViD19 mRNA vaccines, what happens if they start producing the covid spike proteins, or if the mRNA from the vaccines reach them at all (they are made in the bone marrow.)

    Why is there more side effects in the 2nd dose if our immune system got the first lesson from the 1st dose? It should be the other way around right? What am I missing? When we’re infected with a virus our immune systems takes a while to find the correct response, so we get sick first and better after a few days. Following this logic and since we’re better prepared to fight the virus after the 2nd shot, why more side effects (fever, pain, etc)?

      @@franciereid5785 The spike proteins from SARS-CoV-2 do make you sick. Look up the Salk Institute article "The novel coronavirus’ spike protein plays additional key role in illness". However, the spike proteins generated by your own cells (with the mRNA instruction from the vaccine) may or may not have the same effects. More studies need to be done. If they do have the same effects, it can explain the severe side effects like myocarditis, pericarditis, and blood clots. If they don't, well, scientists still have a long way ahead of them.

    • @DeathKnightCrusade
      @DeathKnightCrusade 2 года назад

      why more side effects, because it's working. You see the first vaccine you got your immune system had a chance to learn from it, so when you get the second vaccine, your immune systems goes into overdrive it knows how to fight it and works to fight it faster this time, which causes a faster reaction. A fever fights infection by helping immune cells to crawl along blood-vessel walls to attack invading microbes, so if you get one you know it's working.

    • @simplyexplained
      @simplyexplained  3 года назад +1

      Johnson's vaccine is not traditional at all. Even 'traditional' vaccines require booster shots.

    • @varyolla435
      @varyolla435 10 месяцев назад

      "Recombinant" vs. "Attenuated" = subsequent immunological response. Recombinant vaccines which only use a part of a viral pathogen do not elicit as strong an immune reaction as would be seen if you simply were infected with a virus which began to replicate itself. The J&J vaccine is a "viral vector" vaccine - meaning an innocuous adenovirus which has been modified to manifest the same protein spikes found on the Covid virus.
      So the J&J vaccine is a live albeit weakened virus which once in the body proceeds to try to infect cells causing an immune response. Attenuated vaccines typically trigger the strongest immune reactions - although that can mean they then cause more harsh side effects compared to other vaccines. Recombinant vaccines on the other hand triggering weaker reactions are better tolerated as a rule - BUT - as alluded to they also often require several doses to achieve sufficient antibody generation.
      It is therefore a tradeoff if you will. You accept several doses of a recombinant vaccine to develop desired antibody levels = but the side effects are usually milder. Attenuated vaccines can achieve the same through less doses - 1 or 2 usually - but the possible side effects in susceptible individuals are sometimes a bit harsher.
      Final thought. As noted by others antibody generation typically wanes in time requiring booster shots. Yet the same occurs in people infected naturally as well. A natural infection can result in longer lasting immunity compared to vaccination given its strong immune reaction = but the potential for adverse serious reaction is much greater as a result. 🤨

      hey, it's been a while since i've reviewed my cell bio stuff but if I remember correctly, the mRNA produced by your body will still be translated since each mRNA "strip" codes for a protein. So if my understanding is correct, the mRNA vaccine will deliver the mRNA for the spike proteins into the cell cytoplasm where the endoplasmic reticuluum will read the mRNA and translate it and it results in the spike proteins which we will use to prepare for the actual covid virus particle. Again, it's been a while since I had to study this and it's a very simplistic explanation with some parts left out, but I hope that helped you understand! feel free to do your own research and correct me if I'm wrong!

    • @Jason-mn2hu
      @Jason-mn2hu 3 года назад

      @Scott Menard i don't believe that there are any clashes of mRNA being translated because our body already has lots of proteins being translated even without the vaccine. We constantly create proteins for various functions in our body and as each protein is translated, it is sent to the golgi to be put together into it's final form to then be released into the blood. surely our body is able to handle more than one code at a time or else we would have a hard time surviving!

      It has now been shown that the spike protein attacks the mitochondria (powerhouse of the cell)

      The main issue is they work on the spike protein which is very destructive
      The vaccine was supposed to remain in the deltoid muscle of the arm and dissipate quickly
      However, they have found it travels and lodges itself in various organs all over the body, they have been found in organs up to 4 months after vaccination, they were supposed to be gone well within a number of hours, 2 days at maximum

      If you are feeling exhausted, it is NOT in your head, do NOT let the doctors dismiss your concerns, find another doctor and make sure you find one who will report your injury in whatever reporting system it should be reported in, in your country
      There is an organisation called FL (+ the third letter of the alphabet repeated 3 times, YouCensor deletes my post if i use the organisations name, these are doctors who first started treating covid right at the beginning and who over time have developed covid treatment protocols for covid infection as well as for long covid injury

  • @Starace65
    @Starace65 3 года назад +1

    The vaccines were not rushed?
    1) none of the vaccines are FDA approved. Why? Because they haven’t had enough time to meet the FDA approval process which REQUIRES assessing the side effects over time. The vaccines are under “emergency use only”
    2) Ever hear the saying that 9 women can’t have a baby in 1 month? Some things can’t be “accelerated” by parallel activities. Clinical trials are called “trials” for a reason. The effects need to be assessed over short-term AND long term. None of the trials have date for long term effect, for pregnant women, for immune-suppressed etc. that is why none of the vaccines are FDA approved.
    That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get it. Everyone has different health situation and risk tolerance. But saying blankety “they are tested and safe” is an oversimplification and simply not true.

      If you had actually watched the video, you'd know that the 2% figure was based on a figure between lowest 0.5% and highest at 10% which tracks at a global level, broken down by certain countries. Some countries have very low mortality of 0.5% and some have as high as 10%. So they used 2% as the figure for illustration. 2% being a quite common number for mortality in several countries. They could've used the median number which would've been roughly 5%, but then when they used that 5% figure of the 7.7 Billion population, the number of dead in that scenario would be vastly higher (thanks to how math works) and people would be freaking the fcuk out. You only need to use a value to demonstrate the casualty rate. It doesn't have to be a high number because people freak out too easily. This is why they actually put the "Worst Case Scenario" disclaimer at the bottom of that demonstration.

    hmmmm more side effects in the younger groups, you don't say......

    • @varyolla435
      @varyolla435 Год назад

      As would be expected.......... If you understood the science - as you obviously do not - you would understand that many viral infections can trigger side effects to include say inflammation of heart tissue. All this really means is the virus in question can access heart cells. So why younger people then??? Riddle me this = who is more active - a younger person or an older one????
      Moral of the story: if you have as our example cardiac tissue inflammation following a viral infection then even if it is mild and transitory being subject to self resolution in a matter of days - then because younger people are far more active and hence "stress" their bodies far more than older people who tend to be more sedentary = they are more apt to manifest symptomology.
      A "side effect" is nothing more than a symptom of some part of the body being impacted. What matters is such side effects occur far less in vaccinated than in people infected with the actual illness and are correspondingly milder and less impactful. Perhaps it is time to learn the science here...... 🥱
