I've always loved the gorgeous lighting (and backdrop displays in your vids) because you create such awesome depth and sharpness - and the clarity of the makeup is stunning. But for some reason this new neutral tone (though it's a beautiful colour!) is making skin and makeup look flat-ish? Not sure if it's fully the BG or a change in lighting? But I'm finding the camera seems to have trouble focusing w/ this backdrop and the flatter lighting is making it harder to get a sense of the texture/pop of the makeup. I didn't wanna say anything cause I don't troll, I hate that sh*t and I love your vids. Maybe it's just me? But putting it out there cause I loved your lighting before, had a natural-day effect and really gave depth to your face. Side note, thx for the all-Nars tutorial! Love the look and products!
I don’t even own any Nars. I ordered the matte complete concealer once on your recommendation but then I lost it somehow. 💔 The end result is beautiful! I need to reorder that concealer and maybe the radiant concealer too. I’m going to be totally honest and vulnerable. This week has been rough. So hard. I was just laying in bed crying, tossing and turning for hours. Then I thought maybe Alanna has posted a new video to stop my brain on this loop it’s stuck on. And here you are! The tinted moisturizer is EVERYTHING! A bottle literally lasts me months and it's the perfect amount of coverage for someone who doesn't like wearing full foundation on the daily. 🤩🤩

Sheer Glow in Oslo is my ride or die foundation. It’s the only foundation I’ve ever found that really matches my pink undertone. Also love the radiant creamy concealer. I go back and forth between it and the Hourglass concealer. Orgasm blush, both powder and liquid, is lovely. I haven’t picked up other shades yet but will eventually. And last I adore the tinted lip oils. It’s a really cool formula that actually has a color payoff. ❤️
I have the driest skin expect for my eyelids that are so oily!! I have to use and have loved the eye shadow primer to prevent creasing. The soft matte concealer is my fave tho 😍

Despite my advanced age, I have oily skin and eye primer more than any other primer is a must for me. My fav is Trish McEvoy’s eye primer, which is VERY opaque so once applied, eye shadow is a must. Having said that, it’s the only one that doesn’t feel tacky or crease. Love Clinique bottom lash mascara and NARS velvet lip in Bahama, it’s my daily go-to...when not wearing a 😷.
I just bought the overlust cheek pallette and i LOVE it. I love mixing all the blush colours together and use it liberally hahah. Your eye makeup turned out SO nice!! I love seeing you play around with makeup🥰

i’m coming in here with a HOT tip...i’ve also been sleeping weird during these times. I work in pharmacy and started using melatonin sleep spray and let me tell you MAGICAL I sleep fully thru the night now. 1-2 sprays on the tongue and VOILA kk bye 💕
I have been using the Nars radiant creamy concealer for YEARS and I love it ! I tried to pick up the soft matte one too one you talked about the Masterclass and how they said you shouldn't use the radiant one for covering blemishes but I felt like every shade was off so never ended up getting it. Anyway, the whole makeup look turned out beautifully, I really loved the eyes !!
I love the Nars soft matte concealer for my blemishes! So easy to throw it in your purse to touch up throughout the day too! The radiant creamy concealer.. shows my lines too much. I have to use something more hydrating like.. the newest YSL Touche Éclat High Cover!

Have you tried their new blush shades? They have a new shade called Illicit that’s a nice neutral apricot color. I think you would absolutely love it if you love Luster. It’s similar to luster but without all the shimmer. It’s more of a satin finish!
Nars is one of my favorite brands too! I recently got the makeup your mind palette and it’s amazing for travel! It has gorgeous eyeshadows, laguna bronzer, and three brushes: orgasm, dolce vita, and lustre. Highly recommend this palette!

I’m doing the same thing most nights but with a strawberry gummy version of melatonin.
Is there a reason you use the spray instead of melatonin pills? Just curious!
Nicole Tamer No! might work a little quicker, the brand I use is jamieson and tastes like mint:)
Melatonin is great but you shouldn't take it long term as it can affect the amount that your body makes naturally

Eyeshadow primers are a must for me! I use the Mac eye primer. I tried the concealer with setting powder, but alas, my eye lids are too oily.

The soft matte concealer is my go to! Even if I’m not wearing makeup I like to use just a little bit on my inner corner to lighten up my dark circles.
