So this is an awesome revival! Your skills are saving that car! And the original green is a great color! Back in the early 90’s I remember a HotRod magazine 55 that they used nomad quarters on and if memory serves it is a green car. But you’re really doing awesome work to save what it is! 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
Dan I don't know if you can tell but I can tell that you are getting sooo much better at fabrication and the engineering of one-off repairs. It's really impressive to see and to watch, I give you all the kudos and respect that is due to you. I could NEVER spend that much time and energy and brain power on a piece of yard art, I just don't have the patience. That's why I buy all my hot rods running and driving . And that's also why I'm not making a ton of money on RUclips.😢 I was very excited for you when you found and decided to buy that new piece of property and get the new shop ALREADY BUILT, You and Dani both deserve it. Now let's figure out how to get Mur back in the picture.😊 P.S. it's kind of sad to see the 57 post just sitting there and gentle don't forget about the groin pull.
Dan, Daniel my brother!! Great video! Great work on saving this car. I would've looked at it and given up. You are a master! Signed - Your friend, Cancer guy 😊
I think I've learned as much about how NOT to do things, as how to do things. I thing I would have ground the paint down to nearly bare steel and pulled and hammered as much of the dents out before starting to stitch it back together because you may be introducing a lot of stress into the sheet metal skin, which will make straightening later much, MUCH harder.
Dan to quote rat rod bob( your gettin it you just aint got it) . But really its looking way more better. How u can take a basket case car and fix it to be something I'd be proud to own is amazing.
Dan is quite remarkable for Gods sake if they raised the Titanic he could fix all the damaged and rusty metal on her I believe,HA! Hardest part would be getting the ship to his place for him to work it....seriously a real good restorer is being made her...
Tell dan to use a basketball to push out the dent in the quarter and door. Would be good to see a video using a ball . Always works good for me. Footballs and soccer balls for smaller spots.
quote from vice grip garage " If it works, is it really stupdid?" Its will be fine. Please someone send Dan an old body hammer! We dont know it they they guys who cut that car actualy cut the parts long enough. Its bolted in correct places. You gotta do what you gotta do to get it to line up and add what ever to complete. He is at the end of his budget with this large shop house, but I think he will recover I hope. He should ramp up t shirts and flannel shirts sales what everyone on youtube does of course you gotta have money to do that. Maybe use a slide hammer where you cannot sledge hammer it. The make hydrolic body pushers. place a 2x4 or plywood inside and bash it out with a big hammer.
That's a good idea with the bolts welded to hold thee sheet metal in position, if you grind them where they touch the panel it would allow you to position the metal you are welding in from inside the car and it would be flush fitting then cut off the bolts like you did, none the less great job as usual. ❤️👍🤍👍💙👍
I so wished I could talk to you for only 30 minutes y’all would love me!! Say that patch was 3 in bye a foot it would have covered and you could have made two panels using one to hold it all in place!!
Love the content, and I watch every video!! But....the kind of video strobe effect used in the video while switching from one scene to the next is annoying. Would it be possible to switch scenes differently? Thanks, and keep up the good work....
Dan I know where you are going to take this car. You are going to fix it make run and drive ,solid metal car and sell it and take the money to the bank of course. Another tri5Chevy on the road
Not bad Dan hey nobody would have fixed this car ìt would have just sat or been a parts car or some meth head would have sold for the scrap price you went about it the right way just patching it up people get all caught up with oh new quarters are going to cost so much and want to try to make the car a show car just put it together and put it back on the road. That's the right approach the way your doing it once there's primer on it nobody knows what's underneath or what the car was before I think about the cool factor it's alot cooler seeing a tri 5 going down the road instead of a Toyota camary or a crownvic. Don't worry what people think or say just keep saving them Dan.
Don't start cutting corners,I see on 55 and 57 you are leaving the filler, scraping them together, you used did do that, you did put panels in them when you at small garage,
Ok....gotta stop the vidja here.... like a minute in... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. FIGHT NICE PEOPLE!HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH😂😂😂😂😂😂... WHOOO... OK. lets finnish der vid...
Take the wheels off the tool cart and put Dan on roller skates. Endless viewing fun.
Big props on resurrecting this car. I feel most would of never even tried in the state it was in.
From junk to jewel D/D never fails to produce interesting and friendly videos Thanks Guys you are going to make a nice 55 for someone.

With every Tri-Five rebuild, there’s a man with a vision, a grinder and a welder. Nicely done. Cheers!! 😊
I love it!! The coat of many colors Dolly me if it can be replaced make it. The new shop is kicking

Dan you absolutely have the skil to do it, you don't have the patience needed to do it.

Good thing he doesn't paint or finish them lol. Next guys problem.
That's what I like about DDSpeed shop video's don't edit
out silly mistakes like the bolt rolling into the car
She's a lot more gooder this week than she were last week. 👍
Well done with what you got.
Lots of work in this one Dan but it’s in good hands. Keep up the good work there’s more to be saved. 👍😎✌️
Great progress on the junk 55
Right on man looking better
❤❤ love your videos awesome content😊
Top work Dan!
✊✊✊get a panel “make it look something” Your words lol 👍
Hey Dan and Dani,Grab a good leaf blower and you can blow all of the grinding dust out of new place really easy.
I've taken a trip or two to gappel town. Very humid and hot , and worth every penny.
Holy shite. What a transformation. 💪
Dan to quote rat rod bob( your gettin it you just aint got it) . But really its looking way more better. How u can take a basket case car and fix it to be something I'd be proud to own is amazing.
hmmmm, no riding lawn mower, but 3 tri fives in the garage.... forget the snow plow, we need a mower deck on one of these bad boys!
Dan is quite remarkable for Gods sake if they raised the Titanic he could fix all the damaged and rusty metal on her I believe,HA! Hardest part would be getting the ship to his place for him to work it....seriously a real good restorer is being made her...

Somebody will love that old turd ! Because u saved another 55 chevy. I dig it..if u dont want to do it right..do it wroung ! Ant no sin on that car.
New thumbnail,Can I put two parts cars together and make it run and drive Dani to a delicious supper at arbys?I'm loving this build.
Yes Sir!!!
Hey from northwest Missouri
Wow that thing looks a lot less sketchy that last time we saw it.
You should totally put a ribbon in and video his reaction 😂😂😂
I love this rusty hulk . I really wouldn’t paint it.
Bad boy mowers should sponsor you a mower. What company wouldn't want a up and coming hair model/hotrod builder to be their spokesman?
im diggin it man
Looking good
Glad your saving another tri5. Your the jesus of tri5s.
#Fighting the #back bumper #tension the entire #way
Leaving the bolts on the quarter would be better than putting a spare tire on the front of a '56 wagon. 😉

If you round of the corners on you patch, you will get less warpage.less tight corner, more gradual is better.
Burn that thumb Dan,that’s why all welders hammers have burnt handles😂
Poor Dani just has a hard time standing up

You should put a motor &trans fix the braks it will a cool ride😊
A turnbuckle or two that could be tack welded to the sheetmetal panels might work better for pulling them together.
I so wished I could talk to you for only 30 minutes y’all would love me!! Say that patch was 3 in bye a foot it would have covered and you could have made two panels using one to hold it all in place!!
'your voice does carry' - every man knows this pain.
Stitch it together like a Football. Franken Five for Halloween
Maybe the mower guy needs a project
Ms Dani's Voice does carry in the new shop but without us see her on camera were not able to read her lips, and all we hear is an echo😢
Hmmmm. “Door stuff” lmao - Was Dan a barber in his former life?
Love the content, and I watch every video!! But....the kind of video strobe effect used in the video while switching from one scene to the next is annoying. Would it be possible to switch scenes differently? Thanks, and keep up the good work....
Hello Dan n Dani
LATE UPLOADING AGAIN !!! VERY TYPICAL OF PARTIME DAN !!!!
The new place is great love all the tripods how close are you the Cold War Motors now
I think about 3 hours
Dan I know where you are going to take this car. You are going to fix it make run and drive ,solid metal car and sell it and take the money to the bank of course. Another tri5Chevy on the road
Chip Foose has got nothin on you Danno...
The ribbon idea would have been a lot cooler if you said stitches instead.
Hey Dani. Do you two have a new Post Office Box in the new town yet?
This car will be a good candidate to do a circle track look from the 60s and be street legal.
I. Love. She. Voices
Let’s gooooo 👍👍
Put together a blooper reel!! I want to see Dan lose it!
Do the older cars especially tri-fives when welding don't warp as much because of thicker metal?
*
👍
✌
The saying such as life ,Is an old Australian saying from the out law Ned Kelly before thay hanged him, He came from an Irish back ground
You get less done with Danny behind the camera

Who’s mowing? The hired help?
Maybe you can get most of the dents from in the trunk .
Don't start cutting corners,I see on 55 and 57 you are leaving the filler, scraping them together, you used did do that, you did put panels in them when you at small garage,
Definitely turn it into the Chevy from American graffiti!😊
😮😮😮😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉
i truely don't think that knows how to do anything but how chop tops on cars he just can leave the top of cars be chop chop chop.
I'm not like Dan. I measure a lot more.
Same amount of mess just more spread out
Do you have demolition derby there?
N[ooooooooo
Ok....gotta stop the vidja here.... like a minute in... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. FIGHT NICE PEOPLE!HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH😂😂😂😂😂😂... WHOOO... OK. lets finnish der vid...
