I've said this to my ex about a week ago from our 2 year long relationship. It really fucking hurts saying that to her. Someone that I really cared and loved. But I meant it from my soul. She was emotionally abusive at times, our conflicts will shift around and point the blame on me, bringing up small to big mistakes I've done a year ago that I have amended and apologized so many times. She'd threaten to break up over unnecessary reasons (not having contact with her over a day or 2 cause of work, or over simple jokes that she couldn't relax from). Me walking on egg shells with her. One word can erupt into an argument which really pisses me off. I can't comfortably talk about most things to her, which results on silence a lot. Plus the fact that she talks with her ex that she claims to be "abusive", or the fact that she claims she's "gay". Like all that just seems shady, and yet people expect that "man" to deal with it? But if the roles are reversed, the answers are always "he's unloyal, break up with him". I get it, I understand she's still hurt from the past, but my god girl MOVE ON! QUIT BEING A FUCKING VICTIM! BE HAPPY AND PROUD! DEFEND YOURSELF AND OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKES! Despite she has good intentions, she needs to figure out a lot of shit. And I'm not gonna stay with someone that puts me down and belittles my overall self esteem and drag me along with confusion and insecurities. For once after the break up, I'm actually relieved and happier with myself now.
Sometimes, people fuck up and they realize they did so bad and then they will try to change themselves because they love that person so much. Nobody is perfect right. Some people have trauma and need a little fixing. But I believe everyone deserves a second chance as long as things weren't way too bad.

My ex said he was glad to have dated me the second time to know it could never work. He said he was happy about his decision this time around and was unhappy when he didn't know earlier. He told me to listen to my therapist on learning how to accept it for what it is and let go. He said we would never work, and he would never give me a chance. He was cold when he broke up with me and he was cold on the phone lsat night when we last spoke. He was irritated the more I spoke, and he said that it was easier this time to end it and to deal with this post breakup process because he's over me, unlike after the first breakup. He was just annoyed I was spoke when he agreed to talk on the phone for a bit and to hear about my therapy session regarding the breakup. Turns out he was doing it for pity. I believe his words, and actions, he said he didn't want to communicate further to create false hopes. He said it finally made sense as to why it would never work. As much as I want to believe this video, and I am very capable of change - I changed after the first breakup immediately, but simply my insecurities from the last breakup was hanging over my head,. If i could change quick, I could do it again. I never ever want to go through knowing I made someone unhappy, but he was at fault too for not telling me of his feelings ahead of time. He won't ever want to be with me because he will think of just the arguments. That's it. I am going to bet, that for me, this won't apply no matter what. That a few years from now, if I remember to check on this video, this comment, it will still be the same. That I would be with someone new by then and same with him. I can bet my life on it. I am sure this is how he feels for good and when he is with someone else, he's truly gone for good.
Well I've heard that a few times already. I've been better not contacting her. And today we were able to talk without the emotional baggage attached. So it'd be nice to keep it that way and still keep some distance as I start blazing my own trail again as this has been a chore I am making effort.

I never cheated or did anything close to doing so. He just said he wasn't happy with who he was when he was with me. We were together for 2 years and he dumped me three times. The first time he said was a mistake the second time he hates how he treats me and the last time was he hates who is when he is with me and that he wants to give me time to grow. But I think I pushed him away completely by checking up on him and saying I was willing to wait for when he is ready to see me and be with me. Hello Coach Adrian! My ex and I have been together for 5 years. We broke up a couple of times in 2022 and again here in April. I had anger issues and I messed it up. She said she wants to end it. But all this fight happened just a week back. We had decided of a break, where we can be in talking terms but also give her space until she heals. But today she calls me to her place to discuss about her decision of breaking up. I did the mistake of convincing and she said she's not receptive of all this right now. She also said that it's over, and she's done with it now. I hope the content is not as serious as the context, because yeah, she just took 1 week to come to this conclusion. I ideally she should've taken atleast 2-3 weeks time off from the relationship if I'm not wrong but she said she doesn't want any kind of uncertainty so she is breaking up. Also said by her - "how do I know about future, but you shouldn't think that you will get me back ever. It's over." This is so hurtful! I don't know what to do. How do I know if she really means it? I left my ex a year ago, and it hurt me so bad to leave him. He was an alcoholic/angry person. Since then he’s told me almost every month since then we will never get back together without me even asking or talking about the situation but he always looks for me, texts me calls me and doesn’t seem to be able to let go. After a year I’ve been working on myself and moving forward. It hurts still when he tells me but I’m okay and content with my decision to leave and currently met someone knew who can possibly provide, protect and procreate with me 😌

Here's my situation, my ex broke up with me a week ago. He was angry and said I'm pushing him to hard and stressing him out. He told me yesterday that I never listen to him and haven't made the changes he wanted. His parents died in February 2 weeks apart. They were not together anymore. His mom was his person, she was his everything. She was the one who was there np matter what. He shut down in February. He stopped being loving and affectionate and just stopped trying. It doesn't seem like he has dealt with his grief. He told me he feels dead and empty and numb inside and that he doesn't have it in him to be affectionate and loving right now. I have been there for him through all of this. I have done everything I can for him and I'm worried about him. He told me last night that he doesn't want to get back together with me and that I haven't been there for him through the hardest point in his life. He was also arrested 2 weeks ago and is facing a felony drug charge. He hasn't missed a day of work in 3 years bit in the last month he has missed at least one day per week sometimes two. He has blown through almost all of the money he got from his mom's life insurance. He bought somethings that we would use as as family such as a car big enough for all of us. I have 4 kids, he has 2. 2 days before he broke up with me he told my daughter we were going camping in July for vacation and 3 days before that I called him to confirm our trip to bikefest, making sure he still wanted me to go and he said that's a stupid question and I'm not answering cuz you already know. He has pushed his family away whinge is close to. He also started talking to another girl 2 weeks before the break up and stressed to me multiple time that they are just friends and she's good to talk to. His friends say she's a stranger and it's easier to talk to her. My mom says he is trying to escape reality and that girl doesn't know him like I do, that I'm reality and he can't deal with it. I was involved in a two-year "relationship" with a man who went above and beyond for me. He protected me, cared for me, loved me. We did things together, enjoyed each other; however, he is a separated man. He is still married. Although he plans to get divorced, he said that he is not interested in marrying again, nor does he want to commit to anyone. This would cause me to push back from him. I've done so a few times and then I would take him back! After a recent disagreement, he brought up the "commitment thing" again, although I never asked him to commit to me! I broke it off a final time. He subsequently said that we will never be together. He then said that we would "probably". He told me that he loves me, but is not IN LOVE with me. He's said so many contradictory things to me to the point of me not knowing what to believe. I've finally decided to give him space.
My ex said this to me two months ago and blocked me. She than went on an internship for 2 months. Was separated for a long time from a marriage but she didn't like my legal status with my ex-wife. Legally got divorced and got a new job while she was away. Went no contact for 3 weeks. She started sending me hate/miss you emails. I just responded agreeing to respect her decision and that I got legally divorced. I sent her another email about the new job I got and said to hit me up if she ever changes her mind. She comes back to the country tomorrow. Maybe one day she will contact me. Probably should have maintained no contact after the 3 weeks despite her two emails she sent me, but I wanted to voice the changes I made. Not sure what the best course of action is at this point. I let her know of my improvements. Best to just go on with my life and if she reaches out one day, great I guess...
Even if she tells me to move multiple times after months because we have tried so many times and she got hurt too deeply so that the love was completely damaged and she is seeing someone new? I went no contact for 8 days, then tried to reach out. at 10 days I wrote apology and I told her I made some changes. She said it would take time to heal from things said. I got impatent. I've said this to my ex about a week ago from our 2 year long relationship.
It really fucking hurts saying that to her. Someone that I really cared and loved. But I meant it from my soul.
She was emotionally abusive at times, our conflicts will shift around and point the blame on me, bringing up small to big mistakes I've done a year ago that I have amended and apologized so many times. She'd threaten to break up over unnecessary reasons (not having contact with her over a day or 2 cause of work, or over simple jokes that she couldn't relax from). Me walking on egg shells with her. One word can erupt into an argument which really pisses me off. I can't comfortably talk about most things to her, which results on silence a lot. Plus the fact that she talks with her ex that she claims to be "abusive", or the fact that she claims she's "gay". Like all that just seems shady, and yet people expect that "man" to deal with it? But if the roles are reversed, the answers are always "he's unloyal, break up with him".
I get it, I understand she's still hurt from the past, but my god girl MOVE ON! QUIT BEING A FUCKING VICTIM! BE HAPPY AND PROUD! DEFEND YOURSELF AND OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKES!
Despite she has good intentions, she needs to figure out a lot of shit. And I'm not gonna stay with someone that puts me down and belittles my overall self esteem and drag me along with confusion and insecurities. For once after the break up, I'm actually relieved and happier with myself now.
Sometimes, people fuck up and they realize they did so bad and then they will try to change themselves because they love that person so much. Nobody is perfect right. Some people have trauma and need a little fixing. But I believe everyone deserves a second chance as long as things weren't way too bad.

My ex said he was glad to have dated me the second time to know it could never work. He said he was happy about his decision this time around and was unhappy when he didn't know earlier. He told me to listen to my therapist on learning how to accept it for what it is and let go. He said we would never work, and he would never give me a chance. He was cold when he broke up with me and he was cold on the phone lsat night when we last spoke. He was irritated the more I spoke, and he said that it was easier this time to end it and to deal with this post breakup process because he's over me, unlike after the first breakup. He was just annoyed I was spoke when he agreed to talk on the phone for a bit and to hear about my therapy session regarding the breakup. Turns out he was doing it for pity. I believe his words, and actions, he said he didn't want to communicate further to create false hopes. He said it finally made sense as to why it would never work.
As much as I want to believe this video, and I am very capable of change - I changed after the first breakup immediately, but simply my insecurities from the last breakup was hanging over my head,. If i could change quick, I could do it again. I never ever want to go through knowing I made someone unhappy, but he was at fault too for not telling me of his feelings ahead of time.
He won't ever want to be with me because he will think of just the arguments. That's it. I am going to bet, that for me, this won't apply no matter what. That a few years from now, if I remember to check on this video, this comment, it will still be the same. That I would be with someone new by then and same with him. I can bet my life on it. I am sure this is how he feels for good and when he is with someone else, he's truly gone for good.
Well I've heard that a few times already. I've been better not contacting her. And today we were able to talk without the emotional baggage attached. So it'd be nice to keep it that way and still keep some distance as I start blazing my own trail again as this has been a chore I am making effort.

Hello Coach Adrian! My ex and I have been together for 5 years. We broke up a couple of times in 2022 and again here in April. I had anger issues and I messed it up. She said she wants to end it. But all this fight happened just a week back. We had decided of a break, where we can be in talking terms but also give her space until she heals. But today she calls me to her place to discuss about her decision of breaking up. I did the mistake of convincing and she said she's not receptive of all this right now. She also said that it's over, and she's done with it now. I hope the content is not as serious as the context, because yeah, she just took 1 week to come to this conclusion. We talked a lot about our problems after the break up and made it clear that it could be solved and those were just a big missunderstanding. But she said she is afraid to give it a third chance because she thinks she will feel unhappy again. She acts like she is interested but says she is not. I really love her and i'm ready to do everything to make her feel loved and happy. But she has to realise that she has to tell me when she feels somethings wrong or when she feels unhappy and we can work it out. How to make her believe that we can work it out?

I left my ex a year ago, and it hurt me so bad to leave him. He was an alcoholic/angry person. Since then he’s told me almost every month since then we will never get back together without me even asking or talking about the situation but he always looks for me, texts me calls me and doesn’t seem to be able to let go. After a year I’ve been working on myself and moving forward. Here's my situation, my ex broke up with me a week ago. He was angry and said I'm pushing him to hard and stressing him out. He told me yesterday that I never listen to him and haven't made the changes he wanted. His parents died in February 2 weeks apart. They were not together anymore. His mom was his person, she was his everything. She was the one who was there np matter what. He shut down in February. He stopped being loving and affectionate and just stopped trying. It doesn't seem like he has dealt with his grief. He told me he feels dead and empty and numb inside and that he doesn't have it in him to be affectionate and loving right now. I have been there for him through all of this. I have done everything I can for him and I'm worried about him. He told me last night that he doesn't want to get back together with me and that I haven't been there for him through the hardest point in his life. He was also arrested 2 weeks ago and is facing a felony drug charge. He hasn't missed a day of work in 3 years bit in the last month he has missed at least one day per week sometimes two. He has blown through almost all of the money he got from his mom's life insurance. He bought somethings that we would use as as family such as a car big enough for all of us. I have 4 kids, he has 2. 2 days before he broke up with me he told my daughter we were going camping in July for vacation and 3 days before that I called him to confirm our trip to bikefest, making sure he still wanted me to go and he said that's a stupid question and I'm not answering cuz you already know. He has pushed his family away whinge is close to. He also started talking to another girl 2 weeks before the break up and stressed to me multiple time that they are just friends and she's good to talk to. His friends say she's a stranger and it's easier to talk to her. My mom says he is trying to escape reality and that girl doesn't know him like I do, that I'm reality and he can't deal with it. Everyone says he'll be back bit I just don't know. We have been together 18 months and have lives together since July of last year. Any insight you could give me I would appreciate. Legally got divorced and got a new job while she was away. Went no contact for 3 weeks. She started sending me hate/miss you emails. I just responded agreeing to respect her decision and that I got legally divorced. I sent her another email about the new job I got and said to hit me up if she ever changes her mind. She comes back to the country tomorrow. Maybe one day she will contact me. I went no contact for 8 days, then tried to reach out. at 10 days I wrote apology and I told her I made some changes. She said it would take time to heal from things said. I got impatent. I ended up mailing a 2 half page letter 3 weeks after breakup. She wrote back that she was highly uspet and we are over, and won't get back together.
