Even though i am not a fan of connecting franchises too much, i have to say this DLC was great. Great horror atmosphere and design. Yes it was basically a Control DLC and i was worried, because i wanted an Alan Wake 2 DLC but all the Notes and Details was really good in fleshing things out and i think this may be my favourite DLC in a long long time, which actually felt that it can hold it's own and wasn't just rehashing things. I just wish i could access the documents i examined somehow. Maybe i have overlooked something.
Just finished the DLC myself! wow I was super happy with it! I agreed with all your points. The narrative was welcomed after the first DLC's loose, comical nature. And the final boss was a bit simple. The easter egg with that certain cameo appearance got me even more excited for Control 2. The implications are very interesting to ponder! Let's hope for more Casper Darling appearances from wherever he ended up! lol
Absolutely adore this dlc. I think this leads perfectly into a follow up control game. Alan Wake will always remain my favorite psychological/thriller game franchise of all time. Alan Wake 1 holds very special memories for me. The good ole’ days on Xbox 360❤❤.
Hey so if you run past the painted men on the walls, they can't grab you. I only got grabbed twice and then I realised Remedy wouldn't put that in without some way to dodge it and all I did was always run past them and I never got grabbed again.
Hello. Enable quality mode on 30 fps, do everything to get the achievement, watch video, and after that you'll get it. At least it helps me on series x.
This DLC felt like a true action horror game in a lot of sections, and the resources made me feel like I was playing a resident evil, I didn’t like how the base game threw ammo and mess at you, so this was a breath of fresh air. Also Kieran is a more interesting lead than Saga imo.
They should definitely reduce damage from Painted's grab attack given how frequently it might happen and how large these fuckers' arm reach can be even before they fully pop out
Didnt care for it. Was better than night springs by alot tho. Night springs was shit. Altho i think alan wake 2 in general wasnt that good. The first one i actually liked a lot. This one is just not for me. Lakehouse was so damn short too

There was 6 sections in total in this game (main+ dlcs ) We played as Alan Wake in one section
That's depressing

The best complaint to have is that there was not enough.
On PS 5 the achievemets works. 😂
