I was fooled by this show for a few seconds the first time I saw it months ago, even though I recogniozed Richard E Grant... when I saw a few episodes in a row I could NOT stop laughing and plumb forgot to tape them! Thansk SOO much for posting this. Posh Nosh is THEE funniest thing on TV!
OMG lol!!! This has to be one of the sharpest funniest shows ever..."We make our own stock, but by all means buy stock cubes, if you have low self esteem (gestures towards the screen) lol!! "Firm and moist as Tom Cruise after a hot bath"...just full of classics this one is!
I always "interrogate" my mussels with a Dewalt ® 18v Variable Speed cordless Hammerdrill, using a genuine Bosch® brass-alloy denuding brush wheel. Wonderful!!
You're welcome! A friend of mine was talking about this show, but sadly I missed it. Someone uploaded the episodes and I finally got to watch it. I love the whole satirical and ironic tone of the show. They took forever to download! I only have the episodes with David Tennant (episodes 3 and 8).
I learned how to make Paella Valenciana from a Valencian chef in his kitchen right next to the steps of Mercat Central in Valencia. We bought the ingredients in the market and I was later surprised to see a sign on a stall saying "カラスミ", which is phonetic katakana for "karasumi", the Japanese version of Bottarga. I used my rusty Japanese to order it (much to surprise of Spanish stall holder but to delight of Japanese lady behind counter) and have now realised that I'm turning into an episode of Posh Nosh. BTW, pretty much every ingredient and technique for the Paella in this video is utterly wrong, but I guess you knew that.
I caught this on BBC and I didn't know that it was silly... then I started listing. Goodness!! This is hilarious!! I knew Tennant from Doctor Who... it was exciting to see him here. Oh I love him. A lot. A lot a lot. (He'll always be The Doctor to me, though;)
Does she say "home-schooled" chicken? "we use organic freerange homeschooled chicken" that is about the funniest thing I have heard, and I WILL steal it.
Why is she treating the food like people, "interrogate the muscles" "cheer them" "excite the chicken" "stress your peppers"🤣🤣. And then my favorite part is 7:10 "check the seasoning" sssuuuuuuurrrreee
I saw this one before and before I was a Doctor Whovian but I just saw this 2 minutes ago after Masterpiece Theatre and I was like OMGGG is that David Tennant? That's him omg heheh He looked so cool ^_^ I love him
Thank you, Simon, for pronoucing paella right! OOH, risotto, risotto, risotto! - Abosolutly perfect for the David Tennant episode! "Thrilling times may vary" haha! How can these people keep from laughing?!? Happy homeschooled chickens! I need to get those! David Tennant is so much yummier than the paella...
I'm a classical musician, and I can't seem to figure out what the flute music is about halfway through this episode...about 4:40 or so. Does anybody know what this piece is??
Not one, but three Doctors! And one being Spanish! If you think I'm off my rocker I do mean all 3 actors- Richard E Grant - Scream Of The Shalka - Alternate!Ninth Doctor Arabella Weir - Doctor Who Unbound - AlternateFemale!Doctor David Tennant - Tenth Doctor (needs no introduction)
I think it goes: what care I for a goose-feather bed with sheets turned out so bravely oh? for tonight I shall sleep in a cold open field along with the raggle-taggle gypsies, oh.
@000266617 loz i know!! I'm American, so I'd expect a new version, too.. Thank GOD they didnt go through with an Are U Being Served American version-- The british one is better xD

Love! Poor woman is eating her feelings with the pie-AY-ah there. Great show.

I was only going to watch this for David Tennant, but it's so good I'll have to watch them all!
'as firm and moist as Tom Cruise after a hot bath.' I laughed tea up my nose.

My god did you really think that this was a real cooking show? BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
One of the best parodies ever
“By all means buy stock cubes, if you have low self esteem.” “Join us next week when we’ll be strip searching broccoli.”
We want the finest wines available to humanity. We want them here, and we want them NOW! :D
"So show us your backhand, darling." "Henceforth." Makes me laugh every time! It's his wonderful delivery!
Making David Tennant look sleezy. Now THAT'S well done!
Thanks for posting. I saw some eps on TV and I loved them but I never saw the ones with David Tennant in them until I saw your uploads!

Got to love the pronunciation "payela, no it's payeya!" LOL
I love when she goes to test it and starts stuffing her face. Hilarious.
I can't believe that was David Tennant at the end haha.
You're welcome! I primarily posted it because David Tennant was in it, but Posh Nosh is absolutely fantastic too.

The embarressed musscles ! LMAO
Is that actress Joanna Lumley’s voice at the end talking about Costa Rican coffee-flavoured chocolate coffee beans?
Only 8 episodes? :(
So, the gifted brush was retrieved from the cook?
How upper class.
The full lyrics are on Wikipedia. Just search for Posh Nosh.
@tylernicholas sure is David Tennant.
@ihatecaptchas lol! That stove does look suspicious, I didn't notice that before!
Not one, but three Doctors! And one being Spanish! If you think I'm off my rocker I do mean all 3 actors-
Richard E Grant - Scream Of The Shalka - Alternate!Ninth Doctor
Arabella Weir - Doctor Who Unbound - AlternateFemale!Doctor

@vmacana Claro! jajaja. es muy bueno
The right pronunciation is something like pah-eh-ja (the j sounds like in "jam")
Aye, I'll try.
Do you know which one?
I want some home-schooled chicken.
Haw! So true!
@montypython203 Exactly what I was doing as well! And now I'm starting to like this series. A lot. Shockingly a lot.

I check my seasoning the same way.

something in me wishes David would do that to me.
he is the godfather to her son and daughter i met arabella and her kids on holiday!!!!!!
I think it goes:
what care I for a goose-feather bed
with sheets turned out so bravely oh?
for tonight I shall sleep in a cold open field
along with the raggle-taggle gypsies, oh.
Let's order Simon from his official website, I think he is awfully hot!
This came out better than Gordon Ramsay's Pie-Ella
Oh Minty. Poor, poor Minty.
wow, is that a long ponytail on David...mmm
Pie yay ah
haha his reply is 'mykonos'.. as in the greek island
oml their marriage is falling apart
18 people don't like paella...or David Tennant...or both...or even just the show in general...
IS THIS SHOW FOR REAL??!!
WMcalMW my dad said it's a show where they make fun of actual cooks. It's hilarious though
is that david tennant????

I'm not eating at her house.
did she just say pah-yella!!? wow
I use stock cubes as I have no self esteem
Pie-Ezh-uh, usually.
"Thrilling times may vary." Yes, they certainly may!
Okay, that ending was a tad disturbing.
@000266617 loz i know!! I'm American, so I'd expect a new version, too.. Thank GOD they didnt go through with an Are U Being Served American version-- The british one is better xD
The song is a bit from Raggle Taggle Gypsy. You'll notice they kind of mumble "gypsy" so not to offend anyone.
And it's as firm and moist as Tom Cruise after a hot bath.
Pa-eya.
Rice. Rice is an English word.
Ping! Wine should ping in your mouth.
omg i saw the first episode of this and dismissed it as a piece of sh*t. but david is in it so it just got good
