If you notice, support thumb goes over the strong thumb. It is much more POSITIVE control over the grip in a combat situation and can not be ripped from you hand as easily with the target grip with all thumbs pointed forward. I personally use the stronger grip and it better in recoil management FOR ME. I've also seen in these videos, is to use the support hand to strip the magazine out when going down for your reload. This is to ensure the expended mag is out as both your hands are busy, so how now to clear a tough mag? Takes no more time, if you train this way and use of the slide release thus obtaining your grip more quickly than racking the slide. There are some good techniques here but any need practice using TIME as your opponent.
Can American civilians train at Caliber 3? We have places here to train like your company but it would be cool to train around the world with disciplines from other military.

Apparently that is the protocol , when in public and not engaged. However, in other videos, they will chamber prior to any known or possible confrontations. I will not try and justify that, we are not ridigally trained as they are.
I personally believe that if you carry with a safety or without a round chambered then you must want to die but carry however you want because it's your life.

The thumb position where they form a cross over each other instead of being parallel in the same direction is a huge departure from the norm. I am glad to see they advocate no bullet in the chamber while carrying - much better for safety.

I disagree. Thumb over thumb causes much less left hand palm contact on pistol grip. Bad form.
