    Thanks for your videos! I have been in the market to buy a hybrid MKZ for a month now and really benefitted from your content. I just purchased a 2017 Reserve hybrid with 88k for $12k USD. Im really happy with it so far, looking forward to the comfortable ride and gas efficiency.
    I was debating between the 2015 and 2017 model years and your comparison video of your two MKZ was of great value. Cheers!

    Good video! I have an older conventional MKZ and a Ford C-Max Hybrid with the same powertrain as your car. As you mention, Ford's hybrid powertrain is very reliable and underappreciated.

    I currently own a 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and my only complaint is that I don’t have two of them! I absolutely love the vehicle! The mileage is currently over 180,000 miles and the battery is still good.

      Oh wow, it’s getting high up there. I’ve seen only 1 so for with over 300k miles so that gives me hope:)

    3 weeks ago I took delivery of my new-to-me '18 Reserve with 26K miles equipped with the same options as yours. White platinum exterior and cappuccino interior. Fuel economy is too early to tell but going to and from work I can use about 50-60% electric mode. The build quality is lightyears better than my '19 Hyundai Tucson with the same mileage. One of my favorite features so far is the heated steering wheel and the ability to control the vehicle via the Lincoln Way app. The multi-contour seats with massage are also nice. I might have considered one with the 2.0 EcoBoost but they're becoming notorious for blowing headgaskets. My '18 MKC Black Label's 2.0 bit the dust at 37K miles last May (thank God it had a CPO warranty). Had I not had it I would have been stuck with a $8,000+ repair bill

    Thank you so much for your videos. They helped me in deciding to buy an MKZ. I ended up with a 2020 fully loaded and blacked out MKZ Hybrid. I find myself comparing it to other luxury cars but find myself happy that I bought this one because of the things you descibed. The only thing I find myself wanting is a cappuccino interior now lol. Love your videos thanks for keeping us inspired.

    Had my Reserve Hybrid new since 2021 with now 39k Kms and only changed oil in 3 yrs it really doesn’t cost anything to run other than fuel and servicing once a year. Original brakes, tyres, 12v battery etc.

    I love your you tube videos. I am currently contemplating buying a 2018 mkz hybrid. Do you know what trim levels offered the revel sound system?

      Thankyou. In Canada, we have reserve 1 and reserve 2 trim which both offer revel. Good luck with your purchase:)

    I bought a 2017 MKZ 2.0t 6 months ago and love the car but regret not getting a hybrid because coolant intrusion always gives me anxiety, hope it can last me another year or so then i may try and upgrade to a continental or look for another car

    One last question. The 2017 mkz did not offer the 20 speaker revel audio option? Only in the 18 and 19 models? Also should you avoid the 17 model year for any reason I know it was a refresh and often times on the first year refresh there are bugs that need to get worked out on later year models. Thanks again for all your insight and help!

    • @321verykind
      @321verykind  5 месяцев назад

      2017-2020 offered the 20 speaker revel. Yes, avoid the 2017 unless it’s the hybrid. The 14 speaker revel system is amazing, i can just imagine the 20 speaker set up

    We have been thinking of getting one of these… we have driven a Cadillac DTS for several years and we have been strongly considering an mkz. We don’t know if we want a hybrid or not because we’re concerned some of the luxury packages may not have been available in the hybrid.

    • @321verykind
      @321verykind  8 месяцев назад +1

      On the 2017 and higher models you can get a fully loaded MKZ with the hybrid. Not sure if you can get black labels in hybrids tho

    • @Travis25601
      @Travis25601 8 месяцев назад

      @@321verykind I didn’t think a black label mkz was a thing… but if we could find one with Reserve and with some of the best options possible… Also, we REALLY love the Continental but I don’t know if we could get a certified pre-owned for a good price deal.

    So I am in the market for a 2018 mkz hybrid. My only must have is the revel audio upgrade. The problem is no one lists this option when posting a vehicle and I have looked at like 50. So are there any interior markers that I could see when zooming in on the interior photos of the car that would indicate that the revel setup is part of the cars package? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

      The tweeters are exposed on the front and rear door panels. Black revel tweeters for the 14 speaker setup, and silver revel tweeters for the 20 speaker. Good luck :)

    Hi, this might be an irrelevant question for the video, but is there a group where I can ask questions about my MKZ to other owners? I recently bought a 2019, reserve ii, 2.0, and the passenger side DRL dosnt turn on at all....however it will sometimes blink when I remote start, or sometimes it won't turn on at all. What would be my options? Thank you.

      Yes check out the facebook link in the description below. I had the same issues on my 2019, and it fixed itself haha. If you have warranty, please use it

    The interior is not attractive. The exterior is not attractive. Not even close to the ES 300h. The main screen is so low. Very poor design. Glad you like it but as a fellow BCer my Lexus 300H is always clean. I would not bother washing that Lincoln either.

    • @321verykind
      @321verykind  2 месяца назад

      To each their own. The current es is a good looking vehicle but the generation before that (the one the MKZ competed with) was an ugly car in my option. Interior was nice but the exterior was just bland.
