Absolutely love the CP2, I bought one just before the pandemic started. Then spent weeks tuning it up. Straight out of the box they're great though, easy to work on, lots of options and ways to set them up. Mines currently running a drop block, hpa tank and I get about 150 shots at 16.5 Ft-lbs. In many ways it's my favourite gun, been trying to build a custom stock for it, on and off for about 2 years. It's a fantastic gun and probably the best value platform out there, well done
With the pistol barrel on the power is between 5-6 ft lbs. With the rifle barrel on it jumps to 7-9 ft lbs. The longer barrel gives the pellet more time thus allowing more pressure created behind the pellet. Lovely little , I’m gonna call it a pifle lol. I’m sure your lad will be elated come Christmas Day. I would advise using either a red dot or a shorter pistol scope on it though. Plus the moderator thread is smaller than a half inch unf so you’d need a bespoke moderator. Great gun though mate. 👍🏼
You can get a10mm to 1/2 adaptor for about a tenner so you use any regular silencer. That said the standard one is pretty good, I've tried several popular ones and none were that much quieter than the standard one.
Great guns, easy to tune if you want but to be honest they are a pretty good garden gun out of the box. If you fit the long barrel on check it has a breech seal fitted, they often don't. Should be a spare one in the box.
Hi, like you I live in the North East. I’ve shot at the Washington Range and Black Dog at Spennymoor which is my preference. I’m interested in your comment about a new 100 meter range, any idea of the location of this? Cheers from John.
+@gnarlyboot477 Hi gnarlyboot the range is actually going to be at a fishing lake site. it's at seaham harbor work starts there this month I think. as soon as it's completed I'll let people know . The guy who owns the lake told me about it when he commented on one of my vids. thanks for the contact buddy.👍
The hole in the handle is for a spare co2 cartridge on the co2 model which is basically the same gun . You do realise that you WILL end up getting one yourself don't you😊
