I've been promoting the show on the "Social Medias", Discord, and on my own solo podcast (inspired by this show) every chance I get. It's just so good. This is the show that I care about catching the day it comes out 😁
@@JackMcCarthyWriter It's called "Sub-class Act" and it can be found on the podcast app of your choice. I'd recommend starting either at season 2 or the one-shots just before. 😁
Oh man, the star of this episode has to go to Ssliss-Taa... I was rolling about when you interpreted "Speachifies" ... the monologues that come out if the shaman`s mouth are just classic. LOVE it
In his younger days, the Shaman of the Lizard folk had sought to learn the magic and mysteries of cacophonous sound, weaving himself a long wig of yellow swamp weed. This caused great consternation among the elders, and the young shaman came to be known as Twisted Ssliss-Taa.
Loving this season. Pirates, ghost ships, lizardfolk, an ancient artefact that shouldn't be found, backstabbers, ship battles, mutiny, unreasonable Oŕder of the Purifying Flame, it has it all. Edbert is digging himself into a bigger hole by the episode. Cannot help but wonder what the consequences will be assisting the Lizardfolk: destroying the port perhaps but that wouldn't make Edbert popular with the Captains if they ever found out. That's assuming that Edbert survives The Night in the Swamp!
Trevor I adore you. You're so fun (and so attractive XD). Thank you for sharing the show with us! As someone who likes solo role playing and using those tools when playing with groups, you're the best inspriation!
I know I did this on someone else's content but Idk if I've done a super msg for MM&D/you Trevor and well. Just in case I haven't, I need to. I've told my friends, I've mentioned you in solo roleplay the subreddit, and mentioned you on a discord group I'm in. To understand what I say next, I need to explain a couple of things about me. I live with chronic pain/anxiety/depression. I don't sleep well so often I'll put playlists on from YT. I found you on accident and, I don't understand, but listening to you roll and play (I've listen through, fully awake and aware to s1 and 2 and am working on s3 and 5pfh.) soothes me and allows my anxiety to relax and me to sleep. So I want to say thanks for that. You also have encouraged me to attempt my own solo play. So far I haven't found anything that clicked (Ironsworn overwhelmed and other things were a little too light) but mainly because of how fun you make it, I at least want to try so thank you
Incredible storytelling as always, Trevor. I’m so happy to see the introduction of Lizardmen. I’ve just finished painting up an amazing set of Frog/Lizardmen from Diehard Miniatures, so that’s how I’m picturing Sliss-Taa. Will we see magic in future episodes? Fingers crossed! 🤞
@@MeMyselfandDieRPG I hope so! I want you to stick around! No one else does this at least not like you! Plus all my fantasy nerd brothers and sisters would love what you do so, win win!
Trevor, what are your go-to supplementals for RPGs? Like, what are the table sets you like to use that are versatile for different scenarios and settings? Love the show, keep up the good work!

Lol just had a silly thought if same character are used for even more seasons (which would be great) Egbert has a condition that everytime he is incapacitated his memory is temporarily wiped to the last thing he remembers is running from the order and waiting for Cherylne to return (both probably moot by the end of this season but he would ‘forget’)
Great worldbuilding, Mr Devall!

"Speechifies"
Simon has rubbed off on Edbert. He's become much more diplomatic than in S1. I mean, 0 to 1 is a 100% increase lol.
0 to 1 is infinite increase! Hehe.
Now I want Gator Bites from the local Cajun restaurant
So good I watched it twice - "words of deceit in their round fleshy mouths" ... just awesome!
*SPEECHIFIES!* Roflmao
This channel gets promoted all the time in my solo rpg Facebook group, and my channel. Keep up the good work Trevor!!
The swashbuckling music! The strange magic! Lizardfolk! Classic sidequest shenanigans!
I rewatched the first 2 seasons in anticipation for this! Literally finished S2 a few minutes ago! Let's go!
Make sure you watch season three from the beginning, if you haven’t!
@@MeMyselfandDieRPG Trust me I have!
Did same
Always love some lizard folk. I'm glad Edbert was able to handle this diplomatically, and now we get to go in a side quest. Should be exciting!
Only good thing about Mondays 😅

Random names for lizardmen could come from Ironsworn. It has oracles for Giant/Varou/Troll names that are a bit monster-raceish.
