Amazing season, i'm late to the party and usually don't comment at all, but felt that have to leave something here. Captain Nikula is definitely an MVP for me this season, likable bastard, at certain moments i even felt like i was watching Barbosa from the famous trilogy :D The end, narrative wise, even with the hook for the next season(s) was great, excellently executed. I got emotional quite a few times, which i usually don't but MM&D somehow gets to me. As how great Mythic is, it is your's skill and knowledge sir Trevor, where to expedite, where to cut, where to meld elements of the story and plot threads that makes this show supremely entertaining in good taste. Thank you again for everything.
Edbert is by far my favourite character of this series. Hats off to you Trevor for making this season so amazing! These last scenes completely brought me to tears. Can't wait for the next season!
You have to remember when the mad wizard initially came for Edbert, he came for Carlos as well. We never learned the reason and likely never will, but there’s clearly more to Carlos being spared that’s beyond simple revenge.
Simon with Stone-bolt ends a series of murders, putting effort to end the murders even though many others saw Simon as a killer. But Simon choose to do good despite the odds against him. Arn has his grandfather's spear that represents his people; in the end he choose to end the circle of vengeance; doing the impossible by apologizing to a dragon. Edbert went through hell and back but kept moving forward. The guy held all of the power in the world but he choose to freedom and not for himself but for someone else who just lost everything. Edbert had earned his atonement and Sherylnn is at rest also.. while doing the finger at Devona. XD In a werid series of arcs; I loved how each of these stories had their own theme and ending very differently thanks to a bunch of dice rolls. I'm so happy for the 'boys' to be back together; hopefully Nikola can join in as their wingman when he's not at the sea. They all deserve to be happy also.. for god's sake, Carlos. He's such little bastard.
I'm both sad that it's over but so happy with how it ended. Everything got tied together in the end so nicely! I'm glad our boy can finally get some sleep, and I'm gonna be honest, everything with Sherlyn and seeing the rest of the gang at the end made me emotional! Another amazing season, can't wait for the next one :) (Also, hilarious that you got away with kinda killing Carlos in the end)
I binged this show over the last 3 days, this finale and so many of the other episodes were beautiful and amazing! I was cheering, I was freaking out during tense moments, it was all so great!! I can't wait for season 4! ❤Edbert was my favorite in season 1 and hearing his voice at the start of season three had me soo excited! His was the best season yet!!
Let's goooo!! Edvard's bussiness with Sherlynn has come to an end! He even reunites with his brothers-in-arms. I hope he and his friends are ready as the madden elder brain wizard and the ship-rat Carlos are coming for revenge.
Wow wow wow, what a stunning conclusion to season 3! Trevor, It's simply amazing what a BRILLIANT story you've created here using the Mythic GME (alongside some additional random tables) combined with your incredible interpretations and imagination! I hope Tana has watched and is very proud of what she has created. Can't wait for season 4!
That was a hell of a journey, from season one to here. I'm glad you decided to give Arn and Edbert their own time in the limelight. Having the crew back together at the end was just extra icing on the satisfying cake. Can't wait to see what next season looks like. Your ability to make plastic and paper and ink so exciting is ridiculous.
So, I must confess, when I first started watching your channel, I was unfair to Mythic. I (skeptically) got the pdf, thinking that anything I tried to do would go horribly off the rails, very quickly. I was (kinda) wrong about that. I've played 3 scenes over 4 or 5 sessions, and nothing is more off the rails than any other D&D (that's my system) game I've ever played. I'm shopping it around to my RP friends, now. Thanks for turning me on, man

I imagine that at some point during the epic fight, the camera cuts to the surface where Wyndham goes to ask Thragg a question and Thragg, turning away from the giant lizard monster for a second, just opens his mouth and points to where his tongue isn't, before we cut back to the fight.
I really enjoyed this journey, and it really took it in a lot of different directions, but the one direction I did not expect was the power of friendship as a central and an important plot point for Edbert.
Carlos who escaped death many times, and became a fan favs. will be the new foe to face in Season four. Best Finale of the bunch for sure. Season two still my fav so far.

Superlative, euphoric, sublime, exciting, poignantly beautiful, magical and mythically enchanting. all these words and more trip over my tongue as I try to find the right expressions to describe this series. And WHAT an ending. I almost had tears in my eyes it was so movingly well done.

I feel like I'm making it too hard for my character (Kazim btw) but he keeps making it out on top by the skin of his teeth if that reminds you of anyone.

It's been inspiring to see so little information blossom into a big world filled with such rich detail. The dice have graced us with drama, channeled by you. Honestly incredible. I have been watching each episode live since half way through season 1 and loved every minute. But I have just watch through them all again and it was no less entertaining. While waiting for season 3, I had seasons 1 & 2 running back to back *twice* while doing my own creative stuff (whether it be Ironsworn/Starforged, or building/creating/writing for the games I run). Now I can run 1, 2, and 3 back to back to back. Fantastic end--nothing beats the dice coming together to make it all make perfect sense in the end.
What a nail-biting finish to an awesome season! And once again very touching at the same time. Seeing the trio of friends unite was the cherry on top. Thank you Trevor for the commitment and the effort!
I've used this series to fall asleep... many times. But finally have I finished all three seasons. Now to start and finish the space one. Wow Trevor. Thank you for allowing me to journey with you, through the forests with Simon, through the cold wastelands with Arne and now through the great seas with Edbert. I've just binge-watched almost half of the season in one sitting with no regrets. What started as a little experiment for you, Trevor, as you mentioned in a few interviews and podcasts, has truly become your craft mastery. In my eyes, you are a master of solo roleplay, skillfully using its powers to tell amazing and moving stories. All the closed threads were wrapped up in an extremely satisfying way... and for the ones still open, maybe the mad wizard can make a bargain with a northern demon in Season 5 to plot their revenge on the Trio of Heroes? Who knows? Only the dice. You are now an inspiration to many in the hobby, demonstrating where it can take people if they dare to play around with their creativity, which all of we have. I'm surely inspired enough to prep for another session of Ironsworn today, and have plans for other systems with Mythic in the future :) And tomorrow... finally time to catch up on Season 4.

Though I loathe to admit it, this season failed to captivate me from the first few episodes. Even so, I stuck through it all, even though I took breaks between episodes. And now with the season's end, I can wholeheartedly say I'm glad I did. I don't know whether it's from watching seasons 1 and 2 or your masterful storytelling abilities, but you genuinely had me in tears as this all came to a close. I raise a glass to you, sir. May season 4, and your future endeavors, be ever successful.

As much as the other characters can't catch a break, Carlos seems to catch NOTHING BUT breaks! Man's practically immortal.

Oh my god....the post credit scene. And the villain origin backstory that has been formed...did not expected it! Brilliant!
That was the best series I've watched in years. Watch all 3 seasons back to back over past month. Yeah I was a little late to the party, but it's really inspired me to give solo rpg a go.
Stopping here at 55:25. I notice there is more time to this video. I am guessing it's to close that final thread or leave a cliff hanger regarding that brain sorcerer! Epic ending, this has been awesome to watch.
While waiting for season 3, I had seasons 1 & 2 running back to back *twice* while doing my own creative stuff (whether it be Ironsworn/Starforged, or building/creating/writing for the games I run). Now I can run 1, 2, and 3 back to back to back.
Fantastic end--nothing beats the dice coming together to make it all make perfect sense in the end.

I've just binge-watched almost half of the season in one sitting with no regrets.
What started as a little experiment for you, Trevor, as you mentioned in a few interviews and podcasts, has truly become your craft mastery. In my eyes, you are a master of solo roleplay, skillfully using its powers to tell amazing and moving stories.
All the closed threads were wrapped up in an extremely satisfying way... and for the ones still open, maybe the mad wizard can make a bargain with a northern demon in Season 5 to plot their revenge on the Trio of Heroes? Who knows? Only the dice.
You are now an inspiration to many in the hobby, demonstrating where it can take people if they dare to play around with their creativity, which all of we have. I'm surely inspired enough to prep for another session of Ironsworn today, and have plans for other systems with Mythic in the future :) And tomorrow... finally time to catch up on Season 4.
Sir, you outdo yourself every time. This is some of the most engaging story content I have ever encountered. Apart from the ones I just penned, I have no words. 👏

Please consider playing Ironsworn:Starforged. Not only do I love the setting Shawn created. I think your exploration of it would be amazing. Also there are some subtle differences in mechanics that I believe are an improvement.

WOW this was such a phenominal episode!!!! I am left speechless. I teared up at the end, not gonna lie--with Edbart being forgiven, with him reuniting with Arn and Simon. Man, amazing, AMAZING stuff! I cannot wait for next season, I am soo curious as to what you will do!

Though I loathe to admit it, this season failed to captivate me from the first few episodes. Even so, I stuck through it all, even though I took breaks between episodes. And now with the season's end, I can wholeheartedly say I'm glad I did. I don't know whether it's from watching seasons 1 and 2 or your masterful storytelling abilities, but you genuinely had me in tears as this all came to a close. I raise a glass to you, sir. May season 4, and your future endeavors, be ever successful.
