The cell shading technique makes the drawing look digital! It's funny to think we used to use the same medium in elementary school art class (much lower quality obviously), and now it has become famous among artists...i hated it at the time 😂 also the fish at the end was awesome

Yeah i remember them comming in those big pots, i believe they called it plakkaat verf at my school, it was definatly not as great to work with as these jelly paints, those we're very poort on pigment, just super cheap kids Paint haha ( i hated them too). Haha he got that fish from my mom, he cant get enough of it and is very sad when the batteries are dead XD

@@JenWFineArts we call them "tempere" in Italy, each kid had their own 12ml tube set and the school owned big bottles, all from the brand Giotto...i still have mine after like 14-15 years, they are probably radioactive now 😂 such a throwback to the early 2000s

@@ilariad3837 is it by any change tempera Paint? It has egg as a binder in it. It just sounds so similar haha.

@@JenWFineArts Yes it's that :) i once bought a tube of white gouache, on the package "tempera" was used as a translation of gouache...so they should be at least very similar, if not the same kind of paint :)

@@ilariad3837 i Cant say if they are similar i never used tempera paint before, i just know that it was a paint that was used a lot back in the day by a lot of People who did not have access to gum Arabic or other binders, so they used egg instead as binder to make their own Paint.
