Having been born in 1970 in Canada, I am so grateful to Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre for having preserved the true mass. I finally come to find it 50 years later. His book “A Letter To Confused Catholics” was extremely helpful to me in understanding what had happened. May we one day see Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre elevated to the glory of the alter.
Also born in 1970. I live 12 miles from the Canadian boarder. I discovered the Traditional Latin Mass and SSPX this year. I hope to find a Latin Mass in Montreal area once full boarder regulations are lifted without Covid test.
folks, if you claim to be true Catholics, don't forget, like St Padre Pio, if the Pope tells you directly, or X Cathedra, you gotta abide by it. Padre Pio accepted sanctions from the Pope for ten years until God sent somebody to straighten out the Pope!!! And lift the sanctions. Turns out there were some very high ups who told the Pope, that Pio was a fake - they actually knowingly lied.!!!! Read "Infiltration" if you want to know how such malicious catastrophes happened. Also read a short biography of Bella Dodd, to learn how good people are sucked into bad things. Also read "murder in the thirty third degree. Seek and u shall find.
As a child brought up in the Novus Ordo Mass, I was never introduced to the Traditional Latin Mass until very recently. My parents and grandparents grew up with the Latin Mass. I feel like I have really missed out! I went to a TLM in Milwaukee this past January and I felt like I was in Heaven! I am inspired by Arch Bishop Lefebvre; such a holy and pious man! Thank God he never let this most ancient and Holy Mass die out. What a legacy he left. Arch Bishop Lefebvre, pray for us!
Same here. I grew up in an atheist household, had to wait till I was 18 to join the RCIA program. I’m 37 now, all I’ve known is the Novus Ordo and only just discovering the true Traditional Latin Mass and I find myself more drawn to it… the Catholic Church needs to go back to the one true and unadulterated Holy Mass! What Francis has done further to the Traditionalists is sinful and heresy in my opinion… God willing we will have another conclave soon. I don’t want globalism, I don’t want communism, I don’t want the WEF doctrine and I don’t want Francis’ ideas for the Holy Mother Church. We should pray he either has a conversion or that we have a new conclave.
Same here! I attended Catholic schools from the mid-60s to the late 70s - K-12. I was an alter boy for my church and a nearby Franciscan mission. Then lapsed. I attended my first TLM two weeks ago - it was incredible. Now, I can’t stop reading about the TLM and church history. Arch Bishop Lefebvre and SSPX are inspiring!
Submitting to "The Church" is a part of being Catholic. We have survived good Pope's, as well as bad Pope's before, and we will survive Pope Francis as well. We need to follow the Saint Padre Pio model...not the Martin Luther and John Calvin model. Myself, I want to stay safely under the umbrella of Rome, with the FSSP and leave the SSPX to work things out. If our Lord wants the TLM preserved...His Will, will be done! Have faith!
@@rosiegirl2485there wouldn't have been an FSSP or ICKSP etc., were it not for Abp Lefebvre and Bp De Castro Meyer. Absolute fact! There wouldn't have been any TLM celebrated in the world, were it not for Abp Lefebvre. The SSPX pray for the pope daily. Not just during The Canon, but in Common, in their seminaries, priories etc. Oremus pro Pontifice nostro, Francesco. A great prayer of The Church, no longer used in N.O.. The SSPX are not excommunicated. Not in schism. Certainly not heretics. They are within The Church, not regularised. Sunday and Holy Day Obligations are fulfilled by attendance at Mass in their churches, Mass Centres etc. Their sacraments are valid and licit. Pp Francis has provided permanent faculties/celebrets, so they can celebrate Holy Mass and confer Sacraments, including, Penance and Matrimonies, in conjunction with Local Ordinaries. No sin in being a parishione, attending Mass/ceremonies or receiving sacraments under the usual conditions.
After trying to have a child for some time, me and my wife decided to pray to Lefebvre for a child. We said: "If you are a saint, please ask God to give us a child next month". That is exactly what happened. Now little Joseph is on the way (since I promised St.Joseph I will name my first son after him). However, if God gives me another son, we promised he will be named Marcel.
You could name your first son Joseph Marcel, or Marcel Joseph. Most people do have a middle name. But whatever you decide about their names, your children will forever be blessed because it sounds as if you and your wife are solid, praying Catholics. God bless.
@@johnroberts2517 Check out pf. That sounds like his take. Not the SSPX. This Society is gonna save true Catholicism. This from a N O Catholic in South Asia 🌏.
@@josephhood11 So glad that in the Philippines, SSPX churches dominantly opened for us Faithfuls and there are even some new chapels built despite the COVID-19.
I returned to the Church after 30 years, with a fiance and two toddler sons. It was a few months before the plandemic. My sons were still not baptized and my fiance was in the middle of chatechism when our diocese closed entirely. I decided to meet with an SSPX Father because they were the only catholic church near me smart and/or faithful enough to remain open. The difference in his concern for our souls was tremendous. When I had originally made a 25 year overdue confession with a diocesan priest, he did not make me afraid for my soul. I literally asked him if Hitler and Stalin are in heaven drinking cappuccino together, he did not have a firm answer. On the other hand, when my fiance and I left our meeting with the society priest, we looked at each other for the hour drive home and said "that was the real deal." No one cared enough for our souls to let us know how much of a state of sin we had been living. Every society priest I meet is RICH in doctrine & theology. Confession with them takes courage and requires a notebook for the advice. Lefebvre made this possible, I would hope god is pleased.
Absolutely! We went because they weren’t mandating masks, we were kind of hesitant because of their irregular status but left saying the same thing as you; this is the real thing! They truly put the salvation of souls first!
I don't know the whole story of Fr.Lefebvre. The beginning of this movie is so impressive- the movie froze, but I will come back and finish. In past I saw him as dead wrong in the little I knew of him. But now in light of so much we've experienced and witnessed of so much church capitulation with the world, I want to learn so much more. Your story touches me also. It is so much in the heart like mine. I left the Roman church for 9 years. Came running back after two years Bible study of Exodus. I have been back in the Church since my youngest was in third grade(she is now 27). But my entire life since 4 th grade has been spattered with controversy , friction, and confusion , and much hurt while in the Roman church. I stayed, always looking for that old Church ZI experienced and loved as a child! I'll never forget that Tuesday morning very early in the 'pandemic' when we heard the news our governor was planning on closing our churches as 'non-essential' '. I was stunned but by grace of Hod realized much of what was coming-- and felt we all must jump in to help our priests be able to get the Sacraments to everyone. I thought we all must spring into action. That same morning I called the beloved parish priest to offer my help in what're would be needed........... Never got an answer! Except the one we most all know-- the Roman church as a whole-- minus a few heroes--folded! Abandoned us, and have capitulated so much with the new world order! WHAT HEART BREAK! By the Grace of God, I had been introduced to the Eastern side of the Catholic Church a few years before this and had visited three times. To my delight , God's Glory abounds there in their temples and Liturgy! The priests and Deacons love us with the Love of God, and cared for ( and continue to care for) all of us and especially our Souls!! I have found the True Faith again.❣️ So much that words cannot express and a much deeper, more personal relationship with atheism Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! I am so grateful! Because of this experience, I can relate so much to you. And, I want to learn more so I can understand more of what's going on with your Church. We all must continue to pray for each other. God bless you and lead us all to the Truth He has for us💕
I feel I too has been lied too my entire life! Archbishop Lefebvre does not right now have the title of saint but I do believe now that he actually is a saint. I do believe in due time he will be canonized as a saint which may not happen in our lifetime but I believe it will eventually happen!
All I can say is that friends of mine with a family of ten children in the late 1970's saw their children losing their Faith. They removed them sending their children to the SSPX school in Switzerland. They all kept the Faith with one being a priest and another a religious sister. The proof is in the pudding!
That is an inspiring story about your friends moving to Switzerland and keeping the faith. So many families have had their children leave the faith over the last 50 years. My children were blessed to be catechized by the SSPX in Switzerland.
Wonderful! I so admire them. I don't know what the tuition is, but I'd guess it must be pricey. If you or anyone here haven't seen it, you can see a film made a few years ago by the school on the link below. I left a comment which is not hard to find as there are currently only about a half dozen and mine is the only one in English! I wish God's blessings upon SSPX with their work and upon all here.: ruclips.net/video/qrl3NU5DF3A/видео.html
It wasn't until a few months ago that God led us to the SSPX. I don't want to live without the true faith anymore. My eyes are opened. The priests there have true concern and care for the souls of the faithful. Thank you for this documentary!
We found SSPX on May 28, 2021 and KNEW IT WAS THE TRUE CHURCH after seein this Video and other documents. My husband and I grew up in 1950's as children...We saw the True Mass back then and received the Sacraments so KNEW WE WERE HOME!!
I've now watched this documentary, twice. I've been moved, spiritually, each time. The Archbishop's zeal for the Catholic faith and the mass of all times has created a legacy in service to God. Time will reveal that his stand against modernism and liberalism of the council was the catalyst for a revitalization of the Church. There was nothing lukewarm about the faith of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. I am confident that his reward is great in heaven.
I agree and it is evident through the increase of the growing esteem of the TLM, that he was on the right track because many people are looking for these strong roots of our faith because the shenanigans in the Novus Ordo mass don’t resonate with faithful Catholics.
Yes, but that enthusiasm was beyond adolescence, it was deadly! Bob Dylan summed it up: The times they are Achangin'. Oct '65 was the tipping point for us. I can pin the date because of the numbers of Priests, Nun's and religious who left their orders beginning from that time.
@@nifty1940 Yea, they just left in droves-that's the truth. What a lot of people don't realize is that some of these seminaries that were closing because they had no vocations, the traditionalists, including SSPX were buying up, including the old beautiful churches that the modernist bishops didn't want anymore.
@@nifty1940 Your assessment is spot on. 1965 was indeed a crucial and pivotal year in many aspects. I lived through that period and remember it quite well. The country, the Church and the civilized world took a dramatic turn after that year, which led to cultural, social and political upheavals that have continued to the present day. It has proven to be a mighty misfortune, that Christ's Church chose to get caught up in the zeitgeist of the 60s, and not not remain true and faithful to her calling and purpose. Instead of rooting Herself in her God given mission and status, She opted to be dictated by a wayward, confused and transient world. A world not moored in fealty to God given principles, let alone common sense. Modernism was allowed free reign and has infected the general order of things. This insidious heresy is in fact no longer seen as one by most Catholics, and accepted as matter of fact normal. The dichotomy between the present Church and what preceded the Council could not be more pronounced then it is today. All the more reason why Archbishop Lefebvre's struggles were born out of a state of necessity. The man was a hero and champion for the Faith, and should be lauded as such.
I am 59 years old, born in 1962. I feel I've been robbed of the one true religion for my entire life. Thank God, for He never forgot me. I can never deny Him.
We were robbed of true Catholic Culture and of the true Mass and Sacraments, but they could not rob us (God willing) of the true Faith, and God has guided many of us back to Tradition, even when some of us (myself included) went wandering under their influence. Just praying I make it safely home now!!
I was born in 1968. I remember when I was 4, my parents left the Concilliar parish because of abuses and disrespect, and found an independent priest who said the old mass in Houston. He later joined the SSPX and later purchased and founded Saint Mary's Academy and College. I had the great privilege of being Confirmed by Archbishop Lefebvre at Econe, assisting at Ordinations there, and meeting him several times. I also met and spoke with Cardinal Gagnon when I was a teacher with the Dominican nuns of the house of Brignol. Many priests of the SSPX visited my family's home,, bringing us the Holy Mass and Sacraments.. Thank you so much to those who made this documentary.. Only in heaven will we know how much we owe to the efforts of this holy prelate.
I'm 33 years old and never understood why there were two different masses. I went to Catholic school, which only celebrated the trindetine mass. I am now a godparent, and when I took my Confirmation certificate to the local parish priest, he looked at it and said out loud, "Who is this bishop? " He went to his office and came back and gave me a letter granting his permission for me to be a godparent. I couldn't help but wonder why he had made the comment about the bishop on my certificate of Confirmation so I looked it up and found out that Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais was the bishop who confirmed me when I was a young boy. This documentary brought tears to my eyes. It hurts me how so many catholics talk so negatively about Bishop Lebevfre and SSPX. The reason I still believe this is because these traditional priests and bishops left a lasting impression on me since my youth. God bless Bishop Lefebrve and the SSPX ✝️
Archbishop Lefebvre created 40 dioceses across Africa. Additionally, he built many schools. seminaries and churches. How many Africans are Catholics today because of his efforts? Many thousands (conservative estimate) are Catholic because of his efforts, energy, zeal and organizational skill.
I am convinced he IS a Saint! I wonder if the SSPX ever opens his tomb if they find him incorrupt! Can you imagine to those who called him rebel! Now we get Francis saying we cannot prosletise!
Peace from an Antiochian Syriac Maronite Catholic to all our Latin brothers and sisters, God Bless Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and may one day we will see him a great Saint, for defending the One Saint Catholic Apostolic Church, Amen
I'm Maronite, too! However, I was raised Latin Catholic and I have attended SSPX churches off and on for 40 years-I even had the privilege of meeting Abp Lefebvre 3 times. May he pray for all of us and for Lebanon and the Maronites
Raised and baptized in a Baptist church, converting to Catholicism for the sake of my children...I once was blind, but, now I see...bless you archbishop Levebre...peace be with you...
Every Protestant can learn great things about faith in God through this brave man and true child of God! Timely is right. It’s not the Catholic faith that should be attacked, but only those who seek to worship evil over God Himself, within the Catholic Church that is wrong. Time will see that all of the evils will be brought to light that take place in Rome (Vatican City itself), City of London - to include the Royal Family, Washington DC, and elsewhere. Ask yourself why the Pope’s auditorium looks exactly like a snake with him standing in the mouth of the serpent? The Pope’s have sold themselves to the devil. This I believe is the last secret of Fatima. I recall a documentary in which an artist depicted the final secret as told to him by Sister Lucia (I am unclear on this, it may have been another priest that new what the secret was). The painting was of a Pope (that looks very much like the last several popes) with terrified children crawling all over him and reaching for the roots of trees up above them. It looked like the Pope may have been underground? It was very hard to see what message was being expressed 40 years ago, but it’s becoming clearer as time goes on. My heart breaks. God must be furious with all of us. Repent! Believe in God’s word. Our Faith in God will set us free!
One in 10 billion. There are 8 billion humans alive today as of October 2023. This man knew about the dangers of the Second Vatican Council in its early stages back in the 1960's. How many humans between then and now. 10 billion is a conservative estimate
Thank you so much for making this widely available for no charge. I know this will allow many who would otherwise no little of Archbishop Lefebvre to gain a deeper understanding of his life and why he made the decisions he made.
I am one such person. I did not know much about Archbishop Lefebvre before seeing this documentary film. Now I can see that he was a good and holy man. The wider Church may one day acknowledge him and the great debt owed to him.
Because I am now attending the TLM Mass I realize that I had been spending years attending an abbreviated Catholic Mass, which is very much like an Episcopal High Mass. And that was not in my best interest!! Thank God someone in heaven is watching over me.
I see a picture of Archbishop Lefebvre and it practically radiates goodness. It's hard to explain. He will imo be responsible for saving millions of souls in the long run by refusing to bend on the traditions of the church. I am very thankful for his sacrifice and work.
Archbishop Lefebvre pray for the one Holy Catholic Church. We need your intercession to bring the true faith back to the world and The Mass of the Saints!
@@The12thSeahorse Wait he is not considered a schismatic. Even according to the new code of canon law, he is not guilty of schism. Schism means he is outside of the church, but numerous prelates in the Vatican have said the PX issue is "in house" this means they are still in the Church. Pope Francis would not have been able to give faculties to their priests for hearing confessions unless he thought they were in house. We wouldn't be discussing recognizing the marriages if they were outside, because we already recognize marriages of non Catholics. So anyone who calls him or his society schismatic does not understand the canonical particularities. Rather they would say the priests of the society are irregular, not schismatic.
It is 16 years this month I had my conversion into The Latin Mass which was at a SSPX chapel in Mexico City. I do have a profound love for The SSPX and I have love for The SSPX and I really cherish the hard stand Archbishop Lefebvre took to preserve The Latin Mass!
Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre is such a holy courageous man who defended the preservation of TLM...well deserved for sainthood. Dear Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre pray for us all. Amen
Today marks my 1 year anniversary as a Traditional Catholic with the SSPX whom I knew from Dr Marshall. Thanks be to God for steering me to be a TLM goer...thanks to Dr Marshall's podcasts about the SSPX...praise be to God for Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre🙏😇
My first Anniversary is coming up is September. I was invited by my neighbor because the NO church was closed. I was unprepared for an SSPX mass but. welcomed overwhelming by the reverence, leadership and large families, finally I am home. The following week my 14 year old joined my at the sister parish at the convent school for girls. Her first reaction after her first Mass, “Did I just go to Heaven?

Nicole, it is great that your daughter had such an overwhelmingly positive response after having been to just one SSPX mass. So many teens do not attend N.O. masses and fall away from the faith.
Our family has been led recently to the SSPX via our son Scott. We now have found our magnificent Roman Catholic Faith, along with the beautiful Latin Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows in Phoenix AZ. We feel a renewal and are experiencing the true honor of Our Lord. Archbishop Lefebvre will be considered a Saint. The Novus Ordo parishes have a country club atmosphere we disliked for years. Thank the Lord for the Archbishop. Al Miller
I received a miracle for our unborn child due to his interecssion that I intend to present as evdience at his canonization inquest one day, God willing. You keep on praying-don't give up the faith. I had the privilege of meeting Abp Lefebvre 3 times when he visited our church, Queen of Angels in Texas, and he autographed my breviary, which I now consider to be one of my most prized possessions. Truly a heroic spiritual Father and Shepherd. To be sure God has prepared a place in the City of God for such a courageous Priest, Bishop and man. May he Rest In Peace and a perpetual light shine upon him.
Wonderful video! Thank you so much for releasing it especially at this crucial time. Archbishop was a good and holy man. I am so moved by his true love for the tradition of the Church. He is already a Saint in my eyes.
l am 88 years old and I was dismayed when the changes in the Church were announced. Changing the Mass from Latin into the Vernacular horrified me, I felt the unity would be lost. I felt it when I went on Holiday to a Portuguese speaking country and could not follow the Mass. I tuned into the Vatican more recently and realised that the centre of Christianity did not unify the Church but divided it. We must return to the Latin Mass and stop the Pope from dividing the Church even further. Pray the Rosary in Latin every day for the restoration of the CHURCH
A profound and moving documentary. If I had only known the truth of this great man's life earlier! What beauty and sorrow this story inspires--I am deeply moved. And how grateful I am that the faithful, far and wide, have access to the Tridentine Mass because of this holy man's wisdom and fidelity.
While working in China, I met many African students at church. After Mass, they had a Bible Study and showed very strong formation and commitment. For me, coming from Canada, it was quite surprising. The young leader said, "Today we continue our study on holiness". I never heard such talk in Canada. Now I realize this experience was partly the result of Archbishop Lefebvre's work in Africa bearing fruit 60 years later in China!!!
I was told by a follower of the SSPX that, while visiting a hospital in France, that the Archbishop visited a coma ward. He yelled in a man's ear, "Georges! Do you repent of all your sins?" The man opened his eyes and said, "Oh yes, Father, with all my heart!" and died. Comments?
Our SSPX priest is awesome! He travels from Kansas City to Nashville each week just to bring us the mass. God bless Archbishop Levebvre and the order he started!
I had the good fortune to be able to meet Abp Lefebvre 3 times when he visited our church, Queen of Angels in Dickinson Tx. He exuded sanctity-he was calm, courageous, confident-he had a peaceful air about him, as if he was certain that what he was doing was right. The last time he visited our church, he autographed my breviary, and it is among my most prized possesions that I'll never part with. I received a miracle due to his intercession, that, God willing, I hope to present at his canonization inquest one day. Archbishop Lefebvre, pray for us all!

I do believe very strongly one day many years from now in our Holy Roman Catholic Church we will be celebrating the feast of Saint Marcel Lefebvre! It maybe over a hundred years from now but I truly believe one day it will happen!
I just would like to know how can all religions be equal; all religions the Truth, if we believe in radically different things! God Bless Archbishop Lefebvre, clearly a man of deep faith and rare personal conviction, and which is so lacking today.
If all religions are equal, this means that the suffering and blood of the willing sacrifice of our Lord is on a par with Aztec priests offering up the hearts and blood of captive (and reluctant!) victims. Sorry, not seeing it. Sacrifice of a human must be self-sacrifice, not the slaughter of the unwilling. It has to have its roots in love. Just sayin'.
This was absolutely beautiful and inspiring. I’ve been thinking about it for awhile, but now from this I feel moved to seriously consider discerning the Priesthood with the SSPX. Christ’s Kingship must reign.
Joshua Reagan if you’re considering discerning the Priesthood with the SSPX I would definitely say give it a try to see if that is God’s call for you. I once went into a vocational discernment program but I never did actually go into a seminary however what it led me into was to do pro life missionary work on a national level. Even though the priest I was working with has been dead since 2012 I still occasionally still do that type of work despite the fact I do now have severe disabilities.
The 1986 Assisi prayer meeting is one of the worst scandals in Church history. What a complete catastrophe. Lefebvre was correct about it ruining missions. Now the prevailing error is that nearly everyone goes to Heaven no matter what they believe and do. The SSPX has been instrumental in keeping the Faith alive, no doubt about it.
Jesus denied no ‘one’...He taught Us also ‘of [heaven]’ , it was not as so many assumed it to be. A (soul) is here to Learn to be a ‘clean&holy Spirit, how else could Any0ne obtain That place Our ReDeemer Taught Us of ?
I lost my vocation to religious life and my faith thanks to the new mass and everything changing so quickly. Thanks be to God and Our Blessed Mother that I found my way back to the Church and tradition in particular. The Archbishop is a saintly man who did God's will.
I didn't know that the SSPX Bishops was excommunicated before. But even though i knew it, the way I see them didn't change because of the courage they have to preserve the Church's tradition.
@@ljones436 Archbishop Lefebvre did not create a Schism. Consecrating Bishops without Papal approval involves excommunication but not schism. Even then, the excommunication cannot be valid since Archbishop Lefebvre sincerely believed that there was a crisis in the Church and believed by consecrating these Bishops he was saving the Holy Tradition of the Mother Church. Just like St. Athanasius disobeyed the Arians, Archbishop Lefebvre disobeyed the Modernists!

What a fervent Catholic Priest. His love for the faith is so intense you can see it clearly in all the pictures esp the ones where he is a missionary! I never knew that about him. He looks saintly to me. I am greatly moved by this story. It is obvious that God chose him for a special work and he accomplished it. ❤️ I am not an SSPX’er. He would have been a great pope.
@@traditionalcatholicthought8278 I’m all for tradition and TLM, but my gripe with the SPPX is that the SPPX states it’s better to miss Mass then attend a Novus Ordo, thus allowing mortal sin. Am I wrong here?
Because of you dearest Archbishop Lefevre I stand firm in my faith and love for Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Mass of the ages unto death, in this world that is gone bad. Thank you, Rest in Peace but continue to guide us back home from heaven where you are with Jesus. Dont leave us orphans. Love and respect from India, we need your priests, send them to us.
I can't thank you enough for posting this great documentary this morning! I've watched it twice so far. This is exactly what I've been looking for, and it gives me the confidence and strength to move to the SSPX.
I went to the SSPX in my neighborhood in Geneva. I had been going to the TLM for a year or two previously. The SSPX had confessions before and even during Mass. There are Rosaries in the back of the chapel. They take catachesis seriously. Their priests ate very dedicated and travel so much each weekend to bring the Mass and the sacraments to people.
The anguish is palpable in the good Archbishp's voice, in his words and in his eyes beginning @1:14:41. To safeguard the spiritual goods of Holy Mother Church, he must stand his ground against the forces from within that would destroy her. He is truly a martyr for the Faith.
Good still comes. I was brought into the Faith and found myself a Traditional Catholic. I used to hold hands and all. Now I love the Church and hurt for her and will be Faithful. But I need the TLM.
He is is indeed, a Saint... My wife was confirmed by him in 1979 and remembers well his humble demeanor and unassuming countenance. A truly Catholic Bishop among so much apostasy. Every Traditional order today has him to thank. Well done good and faithful servant.
@@AveChristusRex Yes! God was telling us beforehand that there would come a great saint who would defend His Church against evil forces. We have barely any Maccabee priests and bishops now.
16 consecutive years of Catholic school, started in 1968. This was never addressed, or mentioned throughout the 70’s. After understanding the Archbishop now, I can understand why. Straight up fear by the Papacy. Well done, thank you for posting this. ❤️
I am so glad to have learned a little of what is SSPX. I have been catholic all my life in it has only been recently that I have become aware of the works and accomplishments of Archbishop Lefebvre. Thanks to him we have the TLM today! He was an amassing man of God, he had a mission and he fulfilled it.
I thank God that when I returned to the Catholic faith, I could still attend the traditional mass I had grown up with. I had experienced Protestantism and knew it was deeply deficient. The attempt to appeal to non-Catholics by way of the Novus Ordo was a horrible mistake. Instead, it drove away Catholics from the church. Today, priests who openly support the traditional teachings of the Catholic Church are cancelled by our current pope. Some people point out that St. Pio of Pietralcina was obedient to the pope, but St. Pio was not asked to support heresy, and he died before the traditional mass was under attack.
I think that this situation of irregularity is very sad. Every day I pray for an arrangement that would regularize the SSPX within the Catholic Church. Reconciliation.
With Rome having lost the Faith. The Church deep in heresy and corruption, and more in financial, sexual and political scandals. With the reputation and authority of the Church in tatters and no longer respected, now seems to be hardly the time for their irregular status to reconciled. Reconciliation will happen when the Catholic Church becomes Catholic again. Say what you want, but Rome is hardly Catholic these days.
By their fruits you shall know them. Wow a lot of good fruit from him. And a lot of bad fruit from the post conciliator age. So sad what has happened but I hope he is in heaven praying and interceding for us.
After viewing this video, I have a profound respect and admiration for Bishop Lefebvre for the work he has accomplished throughout his earthly ministry.
Oh my that was absolutely a beautiful film! Thank you SSPX for staying faithful to Holy Mother church many novas ordo laity are finding Vatican II was an earthquake that is still going on. Many are finding the traditional mass!!! Thank goodness for this holy, strong and faithful man for resisting the modernist take over.
I firmly believe that as well! I love the sound of it, Saint Marcel Lefebvre!
I was also born in 1970 and just found out about the Latin mass also!!
I'd like to read that letter
folks, if you claim to be true Catholics, don't forget, like St Padre Pio, if the Pope tells you directly, or X Cathedra, you gotta abide by it.
What are your thoughts on What about FFSp or ICKSP?
God bless.
I will try this…. And name him Marcel if true
I’m a recent convert Baptized and Confirmed in The SSPX . Thanks be to God for Archbishop Lefebvre.
Great! Welcome, I also converted last year and now I go more regularly to FSSPX in Germany.

I will be forever grateful to archbishop Lefebvre and the SSPX for their dedication to the faithful during these troubled times.

You've been blessed. Thanks be to the Holy Spirit!
That was one of the sweetest testimonials on confession I may had ever read. Ty. God is good, all the time!
Same for me: only place around where we could have mass…and communion on the tongue !
I have found the True Faith again.❣️
So much that words cannot express and a much deeper, more personal relationship with atheism Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
I am so grateful!
Because of this experience, I can relate so much to you. And, I want to learn more so I can understand more of what's going on with your Church.
We all must continue to pray for each other. God bless you and lead us all to the Truth He has for us💕
I just watched the documentary and feel like I have been lied to my whole life. God bless the SSPX.

I feel I too has been lied too my entire life! Archbishop Lefebvre does not right now have the title of saint but I do believe now that he actually is a saint. I do believe in due time he will be canonized as a saint which may not happen in our lifetime but I believe it will eventually happen!
@@raysoileau9319 all true believers become saints in the afterlife, Archbishop Lefebvre did what any true believer would've done
All I can say is that friends of mine with a family of ten children in the late 1970's saw their children losing their Faith. They removed them sending their children to the SSPX school in Switzerland. They all kept the Faith with one being a priest and another a religious sister. The proof is in the pudding!
Your friends did a very courageous thing. They truly cared for the welfare of their children and their souls. God grant them many graces!
🙌🏻Praise be Jesus now and forever!🙌🏻
That is an inspiring story about your friends moving to Switzerland and keeping the faith. So many families have had their children leave the faith over the last 50 years. My children were blessed to be catechized by the SSPX in Switzerland.
Wonderful! I so admire them. I don't know what the tuition is, but I'd guess it must be pricey. If you or anyone here haven't seen it, you can see a film made a few years ago by the school on the link below. I left a comment which is not hard to find as there are currently only about a half dozen and mine is the only one in English!
I wish God's blessings upon SSPX with their work and upon all here.:

It wasn't until a few months ago that God led us to the SSPX. I don't want to live without the true faith anymore. My eyes are opened. The priests there have true concern and care for the souls of the faithful. Thank you for this documentary!
Welcome home!

Great...informative..exemplary..
But they don't have the truth of spripture so it doesn't matter how nice they are.
I believe he will be canonized in the future.
Archbishop Lefebvre was one of the few who did not get caught up in the unbridled, adolescent enthusiasm of the 1960s
Excellent
I am 59 years old, born in 1962. I feel I've been robbed of the one true religion for my entire life. Thank God, for He never forgot me. I can never deny Him.
We were robbed of true Catholic Culture and of the true Mass and Sacraments, but they could not rob us (God willing) of the true Faith, and God has guided many of us back to Tradition, even when some of us (myself included) went wandering under their influence. Just praying I make it safely home now!!
I too was born in 1962. Praise God for bringing me into the true Mass some years back.
They have the premises but we have the FAITH!!!
All of us Vatican II Catholics have been robbed!
We all should send this documentary to everyone. Then they will be informed about what really happened instead of being prejudiced
A good timing for this documentary to be released.
Thank God for Archbishop Lefebvre and the SSPX. God is great.
Archbishop Lefebvre created 40 dioceses across Africa. Additionally, he built many schools. seminaries and churches. How many Africans are Catholics today because of his efforts? Many thousands (conservative estimate) are Catholic because of his efforts, energy, zeal and organizational skill.
In addition many priests are sent from there to the US now due to the priest shortage
Funnily enough the Latin mass is remote in Africa
You shall know them by their fruits.

I am convinced he IS a Saint! I wonder if the SSPX ever opens his tomb if they find him incorrupt! Can you imagine to those who called him rebel!
Now we get Francis saying we cannot prosletise!
Time is telling that he was right. He left a safe and steady ground for Catholics.
Exactly what I say to those who try and justify Vatican II; time is telling. Look at the results after 50 years!

Excellent decision... Every Catholic needs to watch this!
Indeed every catholic need to watchthis
Indeed.
I've tears on my eyes. One in a 100 million man. When I was a child I heard about him but knew nothing about his incredible deeds.

Not at the Vatican he will be……he’s still considered as a schismatic!
Why wait I'll ask fr his prayers now, love his courage🔥
Please God.

Do you repent of all your sins?"

The bishops were Consecrated to SAVE the CATHOLIC TRADITION MASS>
@@colajax In direct contradiction to the orders of Pope St. .John Paul II. Mr. Lefebvre caused schism and the religion he created is schismatic.
@@ljones436 he didn't create a religion. What are you talking about!? He preserved the Holy Mass that had been said for 1600 years. The fake schism religion was the Novus Ordo clown mass.
@@ljones436 No he didn’t. He disobeyed the Pope, but he never denied the primacy of the Pope like the Orthodox and Protestants did. Saint Robert Bellarmine stated that it’s “licit to resist him [Vatican ii popes] who try to destroy the Church.”
Thank you so much for this documentary of this wonderful man of God. Our Catholic Church needs more priests as archbishop Lefebvre.
He should be canonize. 🙏
I knew very little about Archbishop Lefebvre prior to this documentary. He was a truly great man. Thank you so much for making this available!
I am a Sedevacantist but I have much respect and adoration for Msgr. Lefebvre!
Glory and praise to God forever and ever.
Viva Christo Rey!
Its Spanish so its Viva Cristo Rey, not Christo with h
Thank you, Lord, for giving us Archbishop Lefebvre. Every Catholic needs to watch this documentary! In the generations to come, the Latin Mass will return to the entire Church and the Novus Ordo will fade away.
God bless the good shepherd of the church Archbishop Lefebvre.🙏✝️
May God bless Bishop Lefebvre and the society thanks to them I was introduce to the Latin mass I’m 56 , now I’m in love with my faith and God I feel reborn again in my faith the true faith 🙏🏻 may God help us because it’s scary how the devil is in the church .
Please join us in the fight for Tradition my friend. Join the SSPX and see the Church as she has always been. You are in my prayers.
@@traditionalcatholicthought8278 I’m all for tradition and TLM, but my gripe with the SPPX is that the SPPX states it’s better to miss Mass then attend a Novus Ordo, thus allowing mortal sin. Am I wrong here?
Thank you, Archbishop Lefebvre. Without your obedience to the Lord we would not have access to the true Mass.
Also I began reading, today, the open letter of Archbishop Lefebvre to confused Catholics. Makes a lot sense. Deo gratias.
The holy archbishop was undoubtedly the Athanasius of our age.
Beautiful. God bless the good Archbishop!
Thank you. I have been deprived of this and now so blessed at 59 to have the TLM back. God help us, Who knows what is in store for His Church next!
I mistyped my previous post. It should read their priests are very dedicated.
The anguish is palpable in the good Archbishp's voice, in his words and in his eyes beginning @1:14:41. To safeguard the spiritual goods of Holy Mother Church, he must stand his ground against the forces from within that would destroy her. He is truly a martyr for the Faith.
Thank you and God bless🙏🏻
Good still comes. I was brought into the Faith and found myself a Traditional Catholic. I used to hold hands and all. Now I love the Church and hurt for her and will be Faithful. But I need the TLM.
Do check out your nearest SSPX.
As a traditionalist Anglican I have much to admire in the Archbishop. He stayed true to his beliefs unto death.
He is is indeed, a Saint... My wife was confirmed by him in 1979 and remembers well his humble demeanor and unassuming countenance. A truly Catholic Bishop among so much apostasy. Every Traditional order today has him to thank. Well done good and faithful servant.
100% archbishop Lefevre will be canonized some day.
The Guardian Saint of tradition
Read the Holy Scriptures. 1 Maccabees! Archbishop Lefebvre prefigured.
@@AveChristusRex Yes! God was telling us beforehand that there would come a great saint who would defend His Church against evil forces. We have barely any Maccabee priests and bishops now.
My admiration for +Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre grows ever more. Merci, cher Monseigneur…
Will there ever be another Catholic man in my lifetime? How precious was this man? More precious than all the comforts I enjoy daily.
What a beautiful person he was! I understood why the catholic masses are empty. I love Tradition!
Instaurare Omnia in Christo! God bless you all
God bless you! St. Pius X, ora pro nobis.
By their fruits you shall know them. Wow a lot of good fruit from him. And a lot of bad fruit from the post conciliator age. So sad what has happened but I hope he is in heaven praying and interceding for us.
I am thankful that Archbishop Lefebvre held his ground, he saved the tlm. I love the tlm, it brought me back!
Thank you Archbishop Levferp for saving the true priesthood
Archbishop Lefebvre is a real Saint in our hearts! A beautiful and very touching documentary...
I wish we had more archbishop like him today God bless archbishop lefebvre
Thank you God and Bishop Lefebvre. Rest in Peace. He is a true Saint.
Feeling blessed I have come to know this truth and his church saving work.
