Akademiks has made it very clear that he doesn’t want to spread misinformation and anytime they try to make that claim, he was right that he WASN’T. If you actually watch Akademiks streams he is pretty level headed unless he is off the henny. If you looked at all the info from the trial, the defense looked sharp while there was a lot of reasonable doubt on the prosecutions side. I guarantee you that the prosecution was shocked that they won the case. I’m not saying Tory was innocent but the prosecution didn’t prove that he was guilty.

I think Megan's team said she was suing those people for spreading false info. Even in these comments you can tell some of them got their information from say cheese or no jumper because they keep saying his DNA was not at all on the weapon when his DNA was inconclusive on the weapon itself (bc there were too many contributors), so technically you can't say it was on there but you can't say it wasn't on there.
What about the people who didn't? I for one read transcripts, police reports, heard testimony relayed by several people who were in court. My biggest issue is people who believe Meg 100% group everybody who has questions about stuff or feel the verdict was unfair right in with the idiots who call Meg a horse and are on other trolly type of time. You will see a lot of diverse artists making music in those genres, whereas in hip-hop, it is only men. My university just created a Communications class studying how well Taylor Swift has used social media to market their career. Like Melon said, I feel like you definitely could create a similar class on the dark side of how social media can be used in the arts/music industry. It often feels futile to try and show people that what they have decided is the truth, is really just a rose coloured lie that they have chosen to believe because of some sort of underlying hatred or bias they have for other people. This is how I feel whenever I read comments that young men make about women in general, these days. It obviously comes from a place of anger and hurt, but instead of getting help, they double down and start supporting people like Tory Lanez and Andrew Tate. A conversation doesn't feel conducive when the other person essentially doesn't view you as an equal human who is worthy of respect.
You bring up a phenomenal point here about the nature of the modern skeptic. A skeptic is not someone who would parrot the court of public opinion. Quite the opposite. I think Megan's team said she was suing those people for spreading false info. Even in these comments you can tell some of them got their information from say cheese or no jumper because they keep saying his DNA was not at all on the weapon when his DNA was inconclusive on the weapon itself (bc there were too many contributors), so technically you can't say it was on there but you can't say it wasn't on there.
What about the people who didn't? I for one read transcripts, police reports, heard testimony relayed by several people who were in court. My biggest issue is people who believe Meg 100% group everybody who has questions about stuff or feel the verdict was unfair right in with the idiots who call Meg a horse and are on other trolly type of time. Still, he testified again: “I believe the girl fired the first shot.” He also said “I see what appears to be the girl shooting into the car,” though the Escalade at issue was not bullet ridden when police stopped it minutes later on Hollywood Boulevard. Kelly also said he’s “not sure at all if the girl was shooting a gun the night” and emphasized throughout his time on the witness stand that he never actually saw anyone with a gun.
“He was holding something and it flashed and made a loud noise like a gun,” Kelly said.

The independent witness claims Kelsey fought Megan and then went on to shoot Megan first and that tory shot 4 times in the air (it’s funny bc this doesn’t align to Meg’s testimony). Kelsey herself plead the 5th to testify. Nobody “innocent” asks for immunity. This case will be appealed by Tory’s lawyer 🙏🏾

It often feels futile to try and show people that what they have decided is the truth, is really just a rose coloured lie that they have chosen to believe because of some sort of underlying hatred or bias they have for other people.
This is how I feel whenever I read comments that young men make about women in general, these days.
It obviously comes from a place of anger and hurt, but instead of getting help, they double down and start supporting people like Tory Lanez and Andrew Tate.
A conversation doesn't feel conducive when the other person essentially doesn't view you as an equal human who is worthy of respect.
You bring up a phenomenal point here about the nature of the modern skeptic. A skeptic is not someone who would parrot the court of public opinion. Quite the opposite. A skeptic would just shut up and listen. Let all the pieces fall into place, and just think long and hard about what they mean.
People are so quick to play devil's advocate they they're actually just playing devil. They think they're "waiting for all the facts to come out", but they're actually just disagreeing with the truth as it's currently known. It's logically, thoughtfully, and ethically unsound to behave like that.

This is my favorite video of 2022. This whole time Megan was treated so terribly, I hope she sees this video and other like this.
