- Tamiya 1/12 scale F1 Honda RA273
First attempt at a model for about 30 years. No fancy techniques used just plain out of the box construction. May improve detail later on if I feel the need. The eyes are definitely not what they used to be..!!

I have the Ferrari 76 model. Sits on my desk has so for many years. A beautiful kit. Didn’t paint it all but did did the really necessary stuff. Beautiful kits.
Cool
Beautiful - thats a very handsome car.
Wow, this was my first Tamiya kit back in 1977 or thereabouts.
Nice work Neil! Thanks for showing what's possible without going to extremes... I would love to get back to modelling.
These kits were just the best ever, why they ever stopped making them I will never know. I had the full set and spent hours making and painting them. Tamiya bring them back onto the market
Stuart Gledhill I’ve just finished the Tyrell 003 1:12 after about a years absence from it. Thought I’d go online for my next one and you’re right not available anymore..!!
Sometimes I think people can’t be bothered with sling time to make models anymore which is really sad coz it’s a great pastime
They are in coming back out with them now! So get them while you can. This year 2023 Tamiya are reissueing their 1/12 Team Lotus MK111 78!
Really cool model and great work!
Many thanks
Nice work!
Thank you.
Nice good job
i have this model since i whas a child , so its 50 years ! old
Amazing job! I don’t think I’d ever be able to do something like that. Also what’s the name of the song?
Thanks very much. The song was just taken from RUclips's own library so didn't get what it was called sorry.
@@NeilTodd well how long did it take to make this vehicle
@@sumaanshaikh3775 not 100% sure now bit think it took me a couple of weeks here and there

How the hell did you get those fuel lines in there stacked 6 deep like that?
A lot of time and not very much patience..!! Not very flexible pieces to work with. Think my next model I left them off as it looked better without the mess I made of it 😁
What about painting- airbrush required?
Elysian Dreams I just used spray cans for main parts, but I guess if you want a better finish then some sort of airbrush method would be best, I'm definitely no expert!
