- Flight review for Rex Airlines flight ZL337 from Brisbane Australia (BNE) to Sydney Australia (SYD).
Aircraft Boeing B737-800 Rego: VH-REX.
Seat 8A Economy Class.
Fight time from Brisbane to Sydney is 1 hour and 10 minutes.
This aircraft VH-REX joined the Rex Airlines fleet in February 2021. Before it had the registration of VH-VUU and was in the Virgin Australia fleet from May 2011. It start flying in the Virgin Blue fleet from April 2010.
Yesterday I flew in a Rex 737 from Gold Coast to Sydney. It is my very first time to be in a Rex jet, and the experience is awesome. Cabin crew are extremely friendly and helpful and, in my view, better than Qantas.
I am a big fan of Rex. Great airline with cheap prices and lovely crew
This is the first Rex BNE-SYD review I’ve seen. Looks great, and it seems to be getting popular. I really want to try Rex some day.

Yes 10K is a big number for me. Only taken 6 years, so should get to 100K by the year 2080! hehehe

Happy New Year, mate! And so good to see you still flying. I've long been a frequent flier loyalist. Primarily with Virgin and secondarily with QANTAS. But status levels are no longer a major concern of mine ,since I normally just purchase premium cabin tickets for overseas travel anyway. So I'm dumping the status chase and going for value by using Rex for interstate travel this year. Hopefully it works out well.
Happy New Year Shaun! Yeah status on Qantas is important to me as it is very nice to get the extra perks like lounge access especially when flying internationally.
I do mostly fly Qantas but really want to try a few different airlines that I have never flown on this year. Hopefully I can get overseas soon but I think still very difficult due to this damn pandemic!
This now means I must consider flying Rex all the way to Regional NSW via Sydney. Their prices are looking really competitive at the moment! Thanks for sharing your review.
Rex Airlines is a very good option especially if you need to get to a Regional town. You are correct, they got some very competitive prices. I am a big fan of Rex

So true and often the tickets on Rex Airlines are cheaper

I hope to get to Bali in April but so hard to plan trips now. Still waiting for Australian tourists to be allowed into Bali. Once that happens I will book it.
Later this year I am planning to go to Dubai. Fingers crossed I can get there.

@@NowGetThere If you're going to Bali, assuming travel within Indonesia is normal try a bit of time in Lombok. Same size as Bali, minutes away by air, beautiful but not as touristy. The Gili islands off the north coast are a good destination, tourist facilities without being too touristy. We went to the nearest one, Gili Air. No motor transport on the island, you can get a ride on a pony cart or hire a bike. Or just walk, everything is close.
@@rais1953 I have been to Lombok a few times and visited all of the Gili Islands, Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. Awesome islands to visit.

how full was the flight?
I would say it was about 90% full. I had 2 seats next to me free and there were a few more throughout the plane
