My ancestral home...my maiden name was Trentham. My grandfather was granted land by King George on the North American, the Outer Banks of North Carolina in the mid 1600s. The subsequent families eventually migrated, with my direct line setting in the state of Texas by the early 1800s.
I remember this when i was a boy. Went for a ride on the little train. Loved it and just to much of our history in ruins

It was home to the levenson-gower family, there's no records to the last name trentham being liked to the estate.
