hey, does someone know when you export a "pallet group" and import the sae file to an other PC the group isn't adding all the pallets with it? Does someone knew a video where a group export en import is explaned to other PC's.
Is it possible to maintained the colors of the custom blocks when inserting it to a custom tool palette even if my blocks color layer is set to "bylayer" and instead of editing the png. file from the directory to change the blocks color? Ive noticed that it automatically change the color of the custom blocks to "white"

It seems like you could have master files accessed by everyone in the office via the Design Center - then each individual drafter could customize a tool palette based on this... What do you think?

Hi Jaswinder. For different sizes of the same block, you would create multiple block insert tools then set the scale accordingly. You can do this by dragging and dropping the first block onto the Tool Palette, then copy and paste for additional tools, then right click on each and select 'properties' to set the scale. A better method for your given example (An M8 Bolt - which doesn't 'scale' but instead changes in all dimensions) would be to build a dynamic/parametric block with a lookup table for the sizes. When you place a parametric block onto a tool palette, right click on the Tool Palette tool and take a look at it's properties. You will see a 'custom' section where you can pick which version of the Dynamic block to insert. If you change the Dynamic block and drag it onto the Tool Palette again, a new block insert icon will be generated. This takes a little longer to build up your palettes, but it's a nice touch and makes it easier for your users to anticipate what the tool palette tool will do. Does that help?
