I think you guys are off base about Eve-from her perspective, a client who she might care about, but who is fundamentally paying her for the girlfriend experience has just thrown her directly in the path of a serial killer who targets sex workers, and then comes back to her saying that he has now pissed off the *other* big power in town and he wants her to come with him to whatever hideout he's scrounged up that is probably gonna get shot up tomorrow. She is well within her right to try to distance herself from her. This is not what she signed up for, this is not what he is paying for, and she certainly did not get consulted on any of the stupid decisions he is making to paint a target on her back. The part where she comforts him right after he throws a tantrum and breaks all her shit reads *very* specifically to a woman-say what you gotta to get this angry, dangerous man to calm down and leave for your own safety. It's exactly the same trick oz talks about to vic in ep 1. Make yourself small, fluff up their egos, and pray they will let you get back to work safely.
