This is a lot of fun. In the string build-up, it makes me think of being caught in a windstorm. This doesn't come across well on the radio or television. The violins come across as too faint, so live or headphones is the best way to appreciate this inspired work. Seeing the score during that string build up is very enjoyable--thanks for posting!
Poor Violin 2. They seem to never stop.
second violin here, i now want to jump off a cliff
They do have a rest at mm 230-234
Jajaja yeeesss
This has got to be the hardest beat drop in music history
Probably one of the best...there are more out there for sure.
Definitely hard but there are many
Hard to play for the entire orchestra.
This is beautiful as well, but The Moldau will always have a very special place in my heart. Absolutely gorgeous, and flawless piece

What a musical accomplishment this Overture is (before one even turns to the Opera) !
This is the song that plays in my head when something great happens in life
Excellent!

Why does he hate string players 😢
Géniale cette version. Mais qui joue ?
Mmmm.. did Puccini take inspiration from here for the beginning of his 'Madame Butterfly'?
