      They used to sell trucks, but after Peterbilt announced they were no longer making 389’s, they decided to hold onto them and refurb them as needed.

    Well cant you measure from center of front hub to center of rear hub on your drive axle to get the lenth? But looking good man👍✌

      Wheelbase is measured by measuring from the center of your steer hub to the center between your 2 drive axles, NOT the center of your rear axle hub.

    ingnorant about the trucking industry, but enjoying following you. Why the change of trucks? Is this your truck or the companies? what happens if you all move to Europe? God Speed †

    • @truckingwithtramjam
      @truckingwithtramjam  Год назад +1

      No worries, thanks for the questions!
      This is a company truck. While I’d like to own one, they’re just too expensive right now.
      Moving, if it happens, is a long way off but we are visiting Portugal this October!

  • @Toy678toy

    Does it have a matching propane trailer

    • @truckingwithtramjam
      @truckingwithtramjam  Год назад +1

      It does, but it’s being held hostage by the previous driver of this truck 😂

  • @one_lifeproject3044
    @one_lifeproject3044 Год назад

    Which pays better propane load or oil? Why you switch?

    • @truckingwithtramjam
      @truckingwithtramjam  Год назад +1

      It all depends… oil is better rate but you usually only get one per day. Switched because propane is slow during the summer

    • @one_lifeproject3044
      @one_lifeproject3044 Год назад

      @truckingwithtramjam thank you for responding back!
      I work with quality Carriers have my own truck and was looking to do propane in the winter and head back to chemical in the summer.

    I was wondering, how long can the oil sit before it sets?

    • @truckingwithtramjam
      @truckingwithtramjam  Год назад +1

      The oil can sit in our trailers for about 5 days before you must get it out, or it will cool too much and start setting up.
      Hope that answers your question 👍
