I’ve still been wondering about your bad experience at your old place so I’d be interested to hear the story but no worries at all if you don’t feel like talking about it. In any case, I’m so glad you’re not in that situation any more!

Don't rush the healing process, your body will let you know when you're fully ready to get back to some form of normalcy. I've got my medical degree and your body heals in it's own time and everybody heals differently and in their own time. So don't be hard on yourself. The cotton candy may have turned out so different because of the other colors. Just glad you're happy with how it turned out, it looks nice. It's an Auburn color. Very flattering

I accidentally found your RUclips channel, I just sat and watched. I will have to view more of your videos when i have some time.
You are beautiful, and i can't tell you had surgery.
All surgeries take time to heal. Some take longer than others.
My advice for getting back to your routine is to do what feels good, right, and comfortable for you. Just don't overdo it. No one knows exactly how you feel and what your pain level is.
Don't worry about when you talk and jump all over from subject to subject. You just have a lot on your mind.
I do it all the time, even when I talk to myself or my dogs. HA HA HA😅 .
    Take care,
    Lynne

I can’t tell that your nose is swollen. As I’ve told you before, you’re cute as a button. In this video you reminded me a few times of Sandra Bullock. That’s a huge compliment btw! Anytime using a lighter color vs dark. There is a chance of "bleeding" which reds specially fashion colors!! They will dry everything around it!!(your shirts, bathtub, shower, pillow case and etc) Like, that lighter piece. Even if you left it blonde, it would have changed colors with all the dark red.
Only, thing that would have helped is cold water and sectioning the piece away from the red before and after showering.
There is other color brands that are more useful when wanting fashion colors. Less "bleeding" effects and fading.

A tip I've learned to help with the colorful dye staining in your tub/shower is, before you rinse out your hair, smear a thin layer of shampoo/conditioner/dish soap in the bottom of the tub. When you rinse out the color, the thin layer acts as kind of a buffer to keep the stain minimal and also acts as a cleaner to easily scrub out the tub.

Personally I’ve been really into the Celeb Luxury shampoos because they do an amazing job of coloring my hair and then it’s easy to change. Not as easy to do a multicolor situation and they still can stain the tub, but I have a lot of hair so it’s much easier on my hair.
Only talk about the apartment situation if you feel comfortable but I will say that I’m dying of curiosity 😂😂😂 I’m glad you’re out of that situation though. That’s really stressful when you don’t feel safe or comfortable in your own home.

Sriracha is just one kind of hot sauce; it probably is hotter than Frank's Red Hot, which is more vinegar-based. Red Hot was probably the first hot sauce I fell in love with when I was a kid. I really like the Huy Fong Chili Garlic paste, which comes in a jar, not a squirt bottle, since it has texture to it, and you have to spoon it. The flavor is just awesome IMO. Celery is one of those ingredients that you might not like by itself, but it's awesome combined with carrots and onions as a mirepoix to add flavor to potatoes, cooked meats, or bread stuffing.

I have curly hair too and I wear it that way (still waiting to see you when you haven't straightened yours). All the women in my family dye their hair but it never appealed to me, actually I'm kinda chicken. But i recently found out that Brad Mondos hair color is sold at Sallys so i ran to Sallys and got some purple dye and tried it. I didn't bleach my hair first so its not very vibrant. Ill have to do it again at some point and use bleach then it will be brighter. But at least i feel more confident about doing something a little different. 💜

I think my favorite part about fun hair colors is that it makes me think more about colors to complement it, like finding the perfect matching clothes or nail polish or eyeshadow haha

You are an awesome person!! Not everyone shares their surgery but you did and that may help anyone else that will go through with it. Love your makeup (I can't put on eyeshadow)😒 Love your disclaimer about dying your hair😂 Take good care of yourself. I feel that if you have a positive energy in your posts that you will get positive comments (unfortunately not always the case)

Surgery recovery is definitely a longer process! People often assume when they no longer feel a lot of pain and see no physical damage as much, that they're fine. But your body is still healing, and so are you, mentally. Usually you get much hungrier too because your body needs a ton of energy for all that healing work, and then you're super tired. So eat and rest well and stay hydrated!
I love how your hair turned out, the cooler tone really suits you! And yeah as someone with bright purple hair I hear you on the staining 😅 I've just accepted it as a necessary sacrifice for fashion haha. 💜
Also I noticed that several times during the video, you were worried about negative comments, us thinking you are silly or overreacting... I don't know if you've gotten comments like that in the past and if so I'm sorry those people were jerks. You're definitely not overreacting or being silly, like when you don't feel comfortable going out yet or having another person touch your hair, etc. The healing is mental too so it's good that you're taking care of yourself. I had several serious abdominal surgeries and it took me a long time to be okay with someone touching my stomach.
If you think talking about what happened at your old place will help process it some or get it off your chest, I think a lot of us are still interested, but it's also totally fine to move on and leave that nasty business in the past. ❤

Recovery times are so interesting because it takes forever yet goes by so fast at the same time. I had surgery on my ankle after breaking and dislocating it in October. I was just getting to bearing full weight on it at the beginning of January, and at the time, I definitely didn’t feel ready to put my full weight on my ankle even though the doctor said it was okay. After I started physical therapy though, things progressed at a much faster rate. Now I’m fairly back to normal. Still working out a few range of motion/flexibility kinks and building up my calf muscle again but back to walking like my normal self.
Also, currently painting my nails red while watching you dye your hair red. 😁❤️❤️

You can probably put a pastel shade adjuster on the cotton candy to make it pale pink instead of a wild pink. I think punky makes one - it's been a long time since I had vibrant colored hair though, so I might be misremembering. Glad to hear you are mostly feeling better - and we all have bad days, just take them in stride.

im a curious cat so i want to know, spill the tea about the old place LOL also i hope your healing continues going well!! i know its disappointing when expectations don't line up with reality but it was a super important surgery, take all the healing rest you need !! you got the rest of your life to work out comfortably, taste deliciously, and smell.... scrumptiously haha. this is but a little blip in time ❤ also I remember when I had firetruck red hair, everything was stained to hell even when i sweat a little but i miss my red hair so much. i haaaate how annoying it is to have but you make me want to dye it back!!

Things like onions, garlic, celery, they are primarily used because they are aromatics, rather than being a strong flavor on their own. The chemical compounds they release when you slice or crush them irritate the lining of your nose, in a similar way as horseradish, but with a little less potency. If you want to get some of the flavor with less irritation, put the raw crushed garlic into olive oil to infuse the flavor, or roast the garlic in the oven to tone it down. You can spread freshly roasted garlic right onto toast because it's super soft.

Thoughts! For removing stains, I assume you've already tried using nail polish remover? That's what's worked for me.
Also, as an arthritis girly it very much is a you use it or you lose it situation. Massage, heat, and gentle movement help even if you can't do a full workout. Happy to drop my favorite massage stuff in Patreon for you. Thankfully it's getting warmer so it should be easier to get your body moving.

Oh Kelli, you do cheer me up so much, you are just so funny (in a good way of course) 😅
I think your hair looks great, but like you I'm surprised that the really light pink is so dark, maybe it's the result of the red which you already had underneath, it was amusing to watch though 😂❤
I did wonder if you were going a bit too fast with your recovery, but only you know how you feel, just listen to your body😊
As far as speaking about the traumatic neighbours if you feel it would help you to offload then go for it, you really do have massive support from your community
So for now just keep doing you as it's the best & take care of yourself

I had day surgery in 2017... not involving my GI track besides the breathing tube they use for general anesthesia... and I lost the ability to eat spicy food. It makes no sense and it's annoying but I am just this year able to eat jalapeños again without trying to cough up a lung. Surgery can do weird things! Just saying you might be able to eat different things in the years to come. Looking forward to your new food journey! It's gonna be a fun ride!!
ETA: Do love the dark red and the lighter red highlights... definitely consider a perm. one because red staining is awful lol. Does it come out of clothes/sheets/towels in the laundry okay?

When I used to dye my hair, I always rinsed out in the laundry room sink because it was already stained from washing paint brushes and other things. This was especially important after we renovated our bathrooms, and I didn’t want our new tiles and grout tinted blue or brown 😂

Crazy...I am getting my hair done in another week and I plan to go with a pinks underneath and red on top (like I always do)...excited to see how yours turns out. Everyone heals differently, so don't worry about everyone else. Day by Day is a great was to go right now. Arthritis sucks, I have it too ( and in my knees as well 😪). I wonder if your hair will lighten up over the next few weeks. Mine always does. I like it though.🙂

It highly depends on the make up of each individuals hair, whether direct dyes will do anything. I can have white blonde hair and direct dyes like punky or manic literally fall out of my hair in one wash because my porosity is so high 🙃

Love the update! You did good on your hair sorry it didn't turn out like you wanted.. but it looks so cool! Celery to me tastes like salty dirt.. but in a good way 😅 Recovery from surgery and/or serious injury is def an up/down journey and moreso the later you get in life. It's totally normal to have good days and bad days. And on your bad days just remind yourself how glad you are you did this now and not 10 yrs later. Ps i'm sorry but i'm dying to hear about the neighbors 😂 just bc i DEFINITELY can relate as a renter, omg... but of course, that's up to you if u want to share we understand 😊
