On today’s episode of Taylor Television, I take you along on the journey of coloring my own beautiful, platinum, angelic, flaxen white blonde hair - with the end goal of blending my natural dark blonde growth into my bleached ends, thus creating the effect of a DIY “shadow root” or a “root smudge”.
**BEFORE COLORING YOUR OWN HAIR I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU WATCH THIS VIDEO although it is in no way a tutorial **
Decide for yourself after watching if I achieved either. I thought that because dentists got paid more than hairdressers doing dental work would be harder than coloring hair but I think i may have been wrong. Do it yourself hair color is not for the faint of heart.
I also got restless while waiting for the color to process and showed you how I tinted my brows. It’s easy and the product I use is Godefroy and you can find it on Amazon. It really helps all your little eyebrow hairs pop out so you can see the full shape of your eyebrows. I also use a brow serum from Amazon called like “sessy lil lady” or something ridiculous like that and I think it definitely helps my eyebrows stay thick, full and healthy.

Sorry I'm just seeing your comment now! I actually did wind up using baking soda and clarifying shampoo many, many times - I never realized dawn could help! I have a lot of breakage and I'm not sure if it was from the color remover or the fury with which I was scrubbing with the baking soda! Oh well :/ Thanks for the tip!
