I wanted a small trampoline and found a really substantial one at the Goodwill, practically the next day, for $20! Been rebounding ever since. Apparently, rebounding is a serious thing with many believers! Somatic therapy!
Bit of a brag here but I'm just to excited! I thifted a 90s white Cotten dress with pockets and has some blue and green tie dye detailing on the pockets and shoulders. It fits exactly how I wanted and still had the original tags. Its great as is but this would also be fantastic!

I live in the Texas Panhandle, which is very flat and hot. My hubby and I are headed to the Colorado mountains tomorrow. It will be my first time in Colorado. Great job on the dress. Learning to sew is one of my next goals.
I've been listening to audiobooks on my commute and flying though them. The best thing ive listened to recently is Idaho, which my mom has been telling me to read for years so we could discuss theories and now I'm making her read it a second time so she can remember the details haha Love how this dress turned out!!!
A book I loved that’s also a new release is First Love: Essays on Friendship by Lilly Dancyger. It’s mainly about the love of her found family in New York City. It also covers grief, witchy things and artist musings. Recommend!

I'm on the other side of the world so no summer here, and a windchill factor last week that took us to "feels like -3.7 degrees celcius" so lovely as the dress is, I am not tempted to emulate it. BUT! I was at a conference in Tasmania, where the landscape is so immediate and affecting, and was given a book to read on the plane home called "The Octopus and I" by Erin Hortle. Neither space nor monsters but quite wonderful and it has allowed my mind to stay in Tasmania while my body adjusts to being back home under the duvet with a hot water bottle and a kelpie.

I am on my way to being able to make the perfect snowcones at home (syrups arriving on Wednesday with my copy of the new Gravity Falls book) and I am so hyped bc this summer has had a depressing lack of snowcones. Snowcone season started in May and I hace had not a one, but now I know my manual food processer shaves ice perfectly and my syrups are on their way, life truly is what you make it

What I'm reading right now is (well actually nothing because I just finished it) Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo. I'm not usually into modern fantasy but it surprised me with how good it is. The wonders of the ✨Library ✨ when the book I actually wanted is not actually there, rip Also the dress is so wonderfully whimsical! Love the choice to do the stems in that periwinkle, it really turned out!
