There has never been a character that makes more sense to have a lot of attacks that are counters. He literally does the most damage when you attack him. Not the other way around.
I've never been a powerscaling guy, I frankly hate that kind of discourse, but seeing WoU in action really makes me wonder how the UI Goku vs Wonder of U matchup would work. I know nothing about Dragon Ball, but from his moveset in FighterZ they seem to have a similar defensive playstyle, so I'd love to see them both duke it out. Plus, it would be undeniably funny to see fucking Goku get slammed by an airplane door

People forget that teleporting is his ability, maybe as well as cloning (2 WoUs, one close to Toru near the Higashikata household and one being pursued by Josuke inside the hospital).

Probably one of the lesser known ones, Doobie Wah!, is a good example of this. Essentially, Doobie Wah! Is an automatic stand which chases it’s target by breath alone. Just imagine chilling in your house one day and then a giant vortex appears from your breath, subsequently slicing you to death. That’s pretty freaky in my opinion.
Yeah, because they can theoretically have any trigger, while other stands specifically activate at the will of their user, which isn't as bad because people can be manipulated.
As a person who has never read jojolion, Wonder of U has a REALLY chilling GHA and I love him for it. I think ASBR does a really good job at trying to replicate the manga’s iconic panels and I can imagine easily what the panel would have looked like despite not reading the manga
WoU is easily one of the creepiest stands in JoJo. Imagine fighting a target who you can't even pursue, if you do you'll be hit by misfortune. The more you try to get him the worse the misfortune gets

Like on 3:07 where he actually interacts with the panels like if he has some control over it, or by the simple fact the he doesn't get defeated, he simply leaves by teleporting.

He's literally a Stand, so that makes sense he leaves after losing, since most likely his user recalled him back. Also, in most cases, style change button turns on/off a Stand, but what does it do in WoU's case?
Pressing the Style button makes him throw Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (0:55), while Style + down makes him release Do Do Do, De Da Da Da on the opponent (1:06).
So instead of calling off the stand when you press the stand button... It does an attack instead, that can be used along the other moves... So it's like a passive user in HFTF

I'm pretty sure some nurses do try to get the head doctors attention while approaching him and get knocked over by a stretcher, there's something of a difference between the passive effect of causing smaller calamities like an object running into you and the more targeted deadly calamities as much as there's different levels of "persueing someone"
iirc you always get hit with calamity for approaching under any circumstance, but the severity of the calamity changes based on your intent. Like if you tried to return his wallet, you might stub your toe, but that's it. Whereas if you're chasing him with lethal intent, you get killed.
Probably only pursuit that are considered a thread by the user, like trying to figure out Head Doctor's identity or trying to expose the new Lokakaka experiment, or just straight up trying to attack him could result in calamity.
This character is ridiculously broken, every time I play against someone with him they just keep throwing projectile at me from far away and making things fall at me, it’s really hard to dodge all of them
His Calamity passive, his moves get stronger when he hits certain health thresholds. (You can see it best at 1:17 with the "Something's Coming In!" attack changing from one leaf to multiple leaves to an entire piece of metal)
Since funny valentine cannot attack since he is inside of the love train he cannot harm wou and so wou cannot misfortune him so they can end with a tie however if we want a certain resoult funny valentine must eventually leave love train and he will loose, also we know wou can make natural events get harder and launch on the enemy so we can assume it can be done with a gold spin since spin is also a netural force just like rain or stuff. Or wou can just kill lucy which love train needs.
Tell me that stupid hat is fine character design, and kira, joske, and others not all look the same, Tell me that power "you just die if you fight against" it is not ruined ending.
