Its just a facade and a fake persona. Toru couldn’t care less about helping injured humans. His goal is to establish a hierarchy for Rock Humans by dominating the medical market using New Locacacas. Anyone he manages to help in the process of doing that is just an example of his success, an advertisement, nothing more.

There was an interesting interview Araki did a while back, where he said he wanted to include a backstory for Kira involving abuse from his mom, but was worried it would make him *too* sympathetic & wouldn’t come off the right way. Would be interesting to see that relationship explored in extra-canonical material

I like the little detail of Tooru and WoU having two different animations and quotes depending on who talks, especially considering how important to the story about WoU being COMPELTELY autonomous made things so much harder to track them down
WoU is so autonomous it can give speech to the masses, learn how to be a doctor, not just a doctor but the HEAD doctor and just do whatever he wants as an old man in a hospital while Tooru chills somewhere. That's why he's my favorite stand ever.
I kinda hope that they do something similar to how they added little teases of Kira into part 4's anime. The manga didn't have anything like that and only showed him when he was first introduced, but the little teases added a lot, in my opinion. Maybe having Yasuho mentioning early on that she had an Ex, having a picture of him in her phone, or maybe him popping up in the hospital in the early parts of the story could help make it feel like he's a bit more present earlier on.

Toru does show some signs of care for Yasuho, just not on a real romantic way. He values Yasuho because he has good memories with her, it’s why he initially gives Yasuho a chance to leave, as she served a use to him in the past. Toru may be a bastard but he won’t go out of his way to kill anyone he doesn’t need to, he’s just in it for the money and the influence within society that comes with it.
I am loving all of these references with Kira being Holys other so called son, and Him and Josuke8 saying who are you. Also Tooru being afraid to approach Johnny will always be funny, this is an amazing Character they've finally brought to the game!!!

Makes sense, MiH doesn’t really stop stuff from happening the same way abilities like Love Train WoU or GER (or even things like The World or King Crimson), if anything using Made in Heaven against Wonder of U would probably cause a Calamity to happen even faster.
Worth noting that those that lack a stand can see Wonder of U as an old man (The Head doctor). Does put his dialogue about healing people with the fruit in perspective.
I love how little tooru cares about fighting people that for most of them he’s basically like; “yo bro my bad for that one want me to take you to a doctor?” It gives him so much personality that was missing in part 8 because Araki added him in too late
Yeah, and it would be awkward because he really has a chance of killing Tooru (assuming that the fungus can hurt rock humans). Cioccolatta doesn't need to "pursue" him, just make a lot of non-specific fungus spore traps around (like Josuke wanted to fight Akefu, by sitting in a room filled with trap bubbles and not pursuing him). Hell, he can just AOE Tooru simply by accident =-)))

Tooru and WoU are, in my opinion, the smoothest villains in the entire manga. Their interactions with others are immaculate in this game! Love how both of them have interactions with other characters, they poured everything they've got into these two and we love to see manga-only (as of right now) reps get this much respect. Also a huge fan of how the other characters in this pass are foils to Tooru, too. Abbacchio has a Stand that's super useful for discovering identities and Yuya's is all about relentless pursuit.
I was hoping for a interaction with Dio like. Dio: "The world is the ultimate stand" WoU: "Mmmmm lets see that stand of yours then" WoU victory: "Even in stopped time, you are not free from the flow of calamity" Dio: "You pathetic human will serve me" Toru: "Human? Wonder of You's suit definitely, since he is said to be wearing black in the manga. Also very possible for the head to be that color as well simce he is based off a microphone
Well, MIH accelerates everything that is inanimate, and the damage from calamity mostly comes from inanimate objects, and calamity triggers automatically without the need for Toru or WOU to do anything, so if MIH attempts to attack Toru in accelerated time, it would just instantly die to accelerated calamity.
You know, I was confused as to why Tooru considered Josuke (4) a threat, then it hit me that Josuke's stand can heal others indiscriminately. That sort of power would just put Tooru's whole endgame in the medical profession out of commission and make his search for the Locacaca Fruit pointless.

Surprisingly, Diavolo would actually be one of the least affected by calamity character in JoJo, if we consider King Crimson's fate defying powers. However, even he can't win against Wonder of U outside of weird cases, like somewhat making Tōru trip from a building by blinding him with Diavolo's blood during a time skip.

7:10 You know... Wonder of U has an EXCELENT point here! I mean, to counter his "Flow of Calamity" ability, one must have a power that defies all logic (the Spin, for instance). Made in Heaven's Time Acceleration ability fills this box (at least, IMO). However, THIS ability in particular would be counterproductive against the calamity! Why? 'Cause it would only make it hit you FASTER and HARDER than normally! So, yeah, Pucci would be epically F-ed if he tried to fight Wonder of U, in any capacity!

Seeing WOU get more than one dialogue banter per unique character interaction reminds me a lot of when Eyes of Heaven did that with dialogue.

Yeah, and it would be awkward because he really has a chance of killing Tooru (assuming that the fungus can hurt rock humans). Cioccolatta doesn't need to "pursue" him, just make a lot of non-specific fungus spore traps around (like Josuke wanted to fight Akefu, by sitting in a room filled with trap bubbles and not pursuing him).

Tooru and WoU are, in my opinion, the smoothest villains in the entire manga. Their interactions with others are immaculate in this game! Love how both of them have interactions with other characters, they poured everything they've got into these two and we love to see manga-only (as of right now) reps get this much respect.
Also a huge fan of how the other characters in this pass are foils to Tooru, too. Abbacchio has a Stand that's super useful for discovering identities and Yuya's is all about relentless pursuit.

Well, MIH accelerates everything that is inanimate, and the damage from calamity mostly comes from inanimate objects, and calamity triggers automatically without the need for Toru or WOU to do anything, so if MIH attempts to attack Toru in accelerated time, it would just instantly die to accelerated calamity.
I love the fact that there are 2 intros/end screens, one for wou, one for tooru.

I was hoping for some Kars VS Tooru interactions.

You know, I was confused as to why Tooru considered Josuke (4) a threat, then it hit me that Josuke's stand can heal others indiscriminately. That sort of power would just put Tooru's whole endgame in the medical profession out of commission and make his search for the Locacaca Fruit pointless.

Surprisingly, Diavolo would actually be one of the least affected by calamity character in JoJo, if we consider King Crimson's fate defying powers.
However, even he can't win against Wonder of U outside of weird cases, like somewhat making Tōru trip from a building by blinding him with Diavolo's blood during a time skip.

The victory poses are pre-selected like the other characters, so the default is just the one with Toru dancing

You know... Wonder of U has an EXCELENT point here!
I mean, to counter his "Flow of Calamity" ability, one must have a power that defies all logic (the Spin, for instance). Made in Heaven's Time Acceleration ability fills this box (at least, IMO).
However, THIS ability in particular would be counterproductive against the calamity! Why? 'Cause it would only make it hit you FASTER and HARDER than normally!
So, yeah, Pucci would be epically F-ed if he tried to fight Wonder of U, in any capacity!

Now we need Joshu (it's possible cuz he has been in EoH before), Mamezuku Rai (This won't be that possible and we already had Jolyne they be similar but could be a bit slight different fighting style and moveset), Jobin, Yasuho and even Josuk8 Soft and Wet Go Beyond (which they could do cuz they can do like updated Pucci MiH after all)
