Me "I'm not a fan of EDM"
Also me "I REMEMBER THIS SONG, SUCH A BANGER"
I am a fan of EDM but I only recognized 3/7
because this is not EDM in most cases
This is not EDM!!! most of this song are in techno - trance genre :)
EDM is Electronic Dance Music. It is often synonymised with a specific subset of Progressive House or Progressive Trance but that's only a relatively recent thing. EDM is really an umbrella term for all, well, electronic dance music.
@@JonasHamill Bing !That`s why EDM Is not Trance is Not Techno. In the 90`s when you bought a cd`casette `vinyl you ask for : Give me please a Techno compilation , if you want dance you ask for dance , if you want trance you ask for trance. Depeche mode is EDM ??? is electronic is music and you can dance to it, same for ex. 50 Cent - In the club you can say is EDM..
Children is one of the most haunting piano riff in a dance music.
Best piano melody of all time
It's suspenseful and very melodious at same time
Nick Konstant its trance not dance
@@zexonraider8058 no one cares
@@zexonraider8058 trance is dance music, or you don't dance to trance? Then how you trance when you dance or listening to dance you trance?
Dude be flexing his sounbrenner watch
Kiseki Kashimura its sick
i fucking hate how slick the controls were on that and how slick he put it on
MrIceman967 r/wooosh
Namavoid Kundra we’re not on reddit loser
I thought that's Omni Trix !
Don’t You Worry Child brings me back to a good time in life...
Anyone else notice that Ritmo De La Noche sounds like Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall by Coldplay?
It didn’t until u told me
@Luke They both sampled Peter Allen's "I Go To Rio", this piano riffs been used for years now lol
@18yroldgirlgamerfortnitefortnitefortnite Cockroach cringe
Yeah they sampled that part of the song
Yesssss
0:23 I thought that was Coldplay
Hello World it sounds freaking identical
Hello World they must’ve sampled it
Sounds like “Every teardrop is a waterfall”
Outside The Builds Coldplay sampled the original
Coldplay sampled it. If you check the credits it says Mystic
"Children" by Robert Miles always gives me goosebumps. Such a timeless melody!
I straight up got chills when you started playing Children!!
Oh the memories!! Awesome video my man; keep’em coming!
Legend says he’s still hearting conments
Indeed! 😉
Tiernan Wahl wow that’s 3 whole weeks! What an incredible long time!
Conments hahaha
Im actually so happy i decided to watch this because I completely forgot about Saturday Night - Whigfield
I think it's cool to see people covering other people's riff. I did this by ear once . But it is so much more rewarding to create a new riff.
0:15 Every teardrop is a waterfall - Coldplay
Smoggy yeah coldplay stole it
@@Poochyke stole is a big word...
Sampled ,it is
@@Poochyke they both sampled
Me: Is that watch a vibration metronome?!
To think all the years I've had to listen to the deafening clicking one we had for marching band. Had nightmares for years about that noise.
relatable
1:54 its on C and the next is in lower octave G#
He probably did it because of Copyright
Yes. There are a couple of "wrong" notes here and there. Don't tell RUclips. 😉
@@-TheRealCozmik- note stuff.
@@-TheRealCozmik- i know how it goes and anyways he plays it right in the cover.
it's actually Ab *airhorns*
0:16 Every Teardrop is a Waterfall (SHM RMX)??
Totally
Wasn't it the avicii tour mix? Or more like the original chords
They must of sampled ritmo de la noche from early 90s.
yep
Coldplay used the sample from the original song, it's on the credits
do you do these from head by ear, or you get notes or chords from somewhere?
No need. Nowadays you can find chords, piano sheets, piano tutorials, guitar tabs or covers easily. 😉
@@kojikobura ..nice
@@kojikobura what about you? You learnt music by ear or theory?
@@kojikobura if you're from Colombia, how come your English is so good ? 🤔
@@QuantumLeapJus21 Colombian schools and colleges teach english and if you're really interested in learning the language you can continue practicing at home watching movies, tv series, RUclips channels, listening to music, reading blogs, etc. Internet makes it really easy . They even taught me some french. 😉
1:15 that sounds like "it's my life"
It sounds like Barbie girl
Fin Minder lmao yes
It's true, I love talk talk
They might have meant Dr. Alban's "It's My Life" and not Talk Talk.
it's my life whatever i wanna do
Next try this - 1.avicii- waiting for love chords
2.avicii - sunshine
3.avicii -for a better day
4.avicii - seek bromance
5.avicii - Levels
6.avicii - Silhouettes
Avicii God Of Edm + Piano Melody & Chords 😎
Totally!
Thank you ! I was searching for Children by Robert Miles and was going insane trying to find it lol 😂
Lol, me too 😂
I’ve been thinking about the Soundbrenner watch. Is it worth it?
Inflake I think it is! I have one and its just beautiful and really well built. I kind of impulse-bought it but it was definitely worth it!
Bob Johnson Thanks! I’ll look into it now!
I'm just staring at the Wing Gundam LMAO
Endless Waltz is the most memorable gundam for me...
Same
My Favourite; Whigfield! :-D Real McCoy too and Another Night. Wonderful Talent and thoroughly enjoyed, Thank You!
Pretty good but you might want to listen to Robert Miles’ Children again.
I know I changed some notes and rythm here and there. 😉
@@kojikobura Why though? you obviously wouldn't get copyrighted from that xD That just made it seems like it was out of tune
@@keiztrat9109 Covers get copyright claims. The funny thing is that 'Children' is the only song that has received a claim so far. Copyright claims aren't strikes so you can keep the video posted but you will share the revenues or, in some cases, you won't receive anything. I was just trying somehing out and didn't work. My bad.
@@kojikobura Nah that's all good. If it got striked with copyright then surely you can just add some of your own tune to change it a bit. I respect that.
You can get copyright claimed from using the same notes. Usually not from the original owner, but viscous autoclaim bots. Every single song here used a wrong note here and there, and it slightly annoyed me. It annoys me more you only noticed it with 'Children', when they *all* had subtle note changes.
Shoutout to this video for helping me find the song I had in my head but couldn’t remember the name
I love how easy club hits are and they make em iconic
Holy wow this is sooo great!!! I subbed🥰🥰🙌🏻🙌🏻
Muy buenas interpretaciones, me gustó Ritmo de la noche
Beautiful !! I love it ! :-D
Where can I find the information to reproduce these songs ? "Full" partitions looks complex... Did you find "simplified partitions" anywhere ??
The Robert Miles children song seemed slightly off but the rest are great
stevenARTify i dont agree, that actually was on point😬
Nah the c# was wrong
@@loopdatshit Nope, 2 notes were played wrong, I heard it instantly too. 2 notes that are supposed to play lower.
Honestly when i read something „seemed slightly off“ - i think on something like timing, or time signature.
Thanks for your feedback. Nothing about the tonality - i might be wrong in what i understood🤷🏻♂️🙈
@@loopdatshit I'm not musically trained to know which notes are wrong or analyse to correct it.. but my ears can tell something sounds different that's the only reason why I would say that it sounds slightly off
Amazing video! (as always)
😊I can listen to this type of music for hours😍
Fantastic... Can see all the training you've done is paying off... Now what is the most efficient method to train my ear to be able to hear the notes of the songs I hear without spending hours and looping the song to get close?
More 90s old skool. Edm Mali’s a more late 2000s term is it not
No it's not.
@@TheActualTed EDM is a 2010s term nobody called it that in the 00s
@@f67739 No.
@@f67739 Just because you call every electronic song dubstep or techno doesn't mean it wasn't a term used earlier than 2010 ;)
Always ALWAYS more (early!!) 90s old school. There's never enough. Bring it back please. Early 90s was the last diverse non-commercial not-corporate-infested era of pop music in Europe.
I play the piano as well I have a question how do I get into making edm beats ? What DOS to invest in for a beginner and how to start ?
Learn how to use a DAW. Any DAW. So far I like Ableton Live, FL Studio, Studio One and Logic Pro but there are others. Then start watching EDM music production tutorials on RUclips. If you already have some music theory background it will be much easier to learn music production.
@@kojikobura thank you soo much means alot

THX for this Video - fantastic! i like it. I always wonder how you break a song down into its respective instruments, passages and so on and then replay it. Very good work
Ableton Live.
Souvenirs of my college years 🙂
Thank you !
Muito bom mesmo. Seu canal é muito bacana. Saudações aqui do Brasil!
excellent video. Is there any possibility that you sell the samples of the sounds of each song?
1:30 Dunno why my head was banging to the right...
Man, this was awesome! You’re talented!
That metronome watch is awesome.

1:46 best Part!
Gives me the chills... So nostalgic...
The next: Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. Pelease brah.
Very very nice Koji. I'm glad you switched from your little keyboard to an Arturia. There's a lot of competition out there of players using the Akai but I think you're the best (Akai & Arturia:-)
Robert Miles is a trance legend 🤘🤘
RIP Robert Miles. Thank you for this beautiful song.
Hmm, the first one reminds me of Coldplay's Every Teardrop is a Waterfall. :)
Almost identical
The original song is by Peter Allen - “I go to Rio”, which was sampled by Chocolate, then covered by Mystic.
Coldplay used the sample and credited Peter Allen as a co-writer.
PIANI
@@pjdaprinz he said mitmo...
Ritmo de la noche predated every teardrop is a waterfall by like 20 years

Exactlty.
Yes it's wrong note
Yes. There are a couple of "wrong" notes here and there. Don't tell RUclips. 😉
Who cares, it sounds good!!
always great, top! Greetings from Italy
You forgot Avicii......
:(
But nice covers
You are awesome !!! , i hope you have +1Million subscribers soon ^_^
They're not really riffs aren't they? They're closer to loops or melodies right?
Isn't a riff just a short, repeated melody though?
Yeah not as a run of notes as I like to think but still the main rhythm. Some looks like just sequence of chords.
i literally found out how to play "what is love" while i was messing around with chords. i later took that, googled the tempo and full on remixed it
El final con children fue épico.
Sick job
0:16 hey, that is Coldplay
No, it's a 1990 song, "Ritmo de la Noche" by the German band Chocolate, covered in the same year by Mystic. Coldplay and Chocolate take the initial piano chords of "I go to Rio" by Peter Allen (1976)
@@ClaudioAranedaX Oh, cool to know
Indeed! 🤙
how cheap are these to get into making? i use to dj with turntables but i wanna do something different and produce beats for remixes

Eiffel 65 - Blue
Swedish House Mafia - Don't you worry child
Whigfield- Saturday night
Real McCoy - Another night

Robert Miles - Children

Can't beat the original.
Could you please give a tutorial on the akai mpk mini and how to program them to make covers? I just got one and still don't know how to work it!
Epico, en la segunda parte waiting for love en honor a Avicii
I have the Soundbrenner core as well! I love it
thought ritmo de la noche was every teardrop is a waterfall
I think Coldplay used this riff in its song.
Peter Allen’s “I go to Rio” is the first iteration I can find in 1976. Several versions of the exact same chords/riff whatever it’s called have come out since then. Coldplay is one of them, ritmo de la noche wasn’t the first by any means
Some real old bangers in here 😃❤💪🔥
The moment i heard
Every teardrop is a waterfall
Hit like button ❤️
1:45 Wow...I spent all the morning looking for the music that I heard on the radio and didn't know the name. Finally I found it 😆🎶
There is another song with similar chords of "Ritmo de la Noche"! I need to know the name of the song. I think is of 2010-12 and a male sings it ( it's not from Coldplay)
It is coldplay- every teardrop is a waterfall.
Beautiful video. Thank you
The first one was straight on "Every Teardrop's a Waterfall" by Coldplay
It's older than that.
whats the name of the watch please tell me is so cool
Children was close but not exactly like the original. Good job though!

Robert Miles - Children _wrong notes_
One word for this: *EPIC*
Gonna be honest, I hated the side camera angle. Should've stuck with the overhead for the whole of it so you can see the fingering without having to rewind ever five seconds.
It wasn't intended as a tutorial but a music video for entertaining. 😉
@@kojikobura I understand, but you could have killed two birds with one stone. I'd recommend doing only overheads and that way you can catch both demographics
@@HavenAWilliams I understand your point, but using different angle shots has become my trademark. Also most of my keyboards and gear are endorsements so I need to "show" them.
are the chords with melody or only the melody?
