Probably a VST-Synth yea. Arturia has a bunch of nice VST's, based on the best from Roland, Yamaha and Oberheim among others (80s). kvraudio dot com is a nice place to start.

there was 0 transition. it abruptly changed (on time) from one to the next. a transition is a blend when both tracks are playing some of the sounds
