even after simping clorinde for months and have a c2 r1 guaranteed funds for her. Few more patch updates for wuwa to fully stabilize the game and it might be over for my genshin journey, might just play them for the archon quests which is 4 times a year.

Playing wuthering waves made me rarely switch characters because I only keep using Sanhua. Now in genshin i barely do elemental reactions and rotation. Because I forgot and now i only keep using my main and not switch which sometimes messes me up

@Animefanboy4life in genshin, you can have 4 characters on your team at once. In wuthering waves, you can only have 3 characters at once.

Just came back to genshin for 4.7 and subconsciously tried dodging out of my glide and dodge double jump and was only met with disappointment.
After Wuthering Wave, Genshin looks like a YT video that you watch in 0.25x speed. The traversal in Genshin is just so damn slow.

To me wuwa feels like it has way more running from one interractable object to another, genshins world feels more crowded while wuwas felt empty at times to me
I too was getting too used to the conveniences in wuwa, i didn't plunge atk when i was falling thinking i wouldn’t get a lot of fall damage.
Fun note; Plunge attacking in WuWa completely negates fall damage, not just reduces it.
That's the fun part. You just go to the nearest tall building/mountain. Glide for a bit then superhero landing.
The stamina in running, how i keep pressing dash when climbing, and force climbing through roof edge... Everything seems more painfull in Genshin... 😞
I tried to run without stamina, I tried to switch characters while climbing walls, I was waiting for the slowmo dodge thing while fighting bosses...
At least WuWa gave me the ability to dodge, my poor Layla is rotting on the corner lol

was doing seahorse world boss for Clorinde mats and I shamelessly tried to parry/dodge, and it cost 2 of my party members out of action
Now that I’ve gotten used to the perfect dodges and parries I always get hit by attacks in Genshin. Not to mention trying to parry 😂
All the Beidou and Candace mains are laughing now I guess. LOL
The thing is, it doesn't cost them ANYTHING to add at least the double jump or better ways to run faster.
Run faster maybe. But to double jump I think they need to animate it for all released characters and beyond.

@@mel_xbianGenshin rn has 80+ characters, WuWa only has like 10-20, so it would probably take forever to animate it for every character. The reason why WuWa can do it is *because* its a new game

Also, I have my Burst set to R in Genshin cuz it’s more comfortable to me, so I was surprised when that was the default in WuWa lol

I did paused Genshin tho, I'm currently only playing HSR, and doing some daily stamina spending on Wuwa for leveling my account, but the QoL are huge indeed. Genshin burns you too quickly. I can only keep HSR consistently tho. Sadly the grind is something hard to cope for too long.

Doesn't happen to me because I can distinguish between the two.. Wuwa is your hardcore game.. genshin is your chillax game.. I literally did the new dainsleiff quest by just jogging around, running wave riders.. yeah it took about 2 mins to move around when you can instant teleport or dash with skills.. but fck it.. I'm here to relax and get a good story..

But anyway, I can adequately say I in fact relax more in WuWas 😭 because I can actually survive. 90% of genshins map is a hellscape unless you do a quest, in the hellscape. And if you touched you turn into a pile of ashes.
Like please how are you calm 😭 I cannot get to a wall without spending and entire minute realizing that I could walk faster than 90% of the cast of genshin.
@@yoinkertoons it's not a stetch at all, the main story have been really good. When you last played the game, Bro? The only "hellscape" area I could think of is like the chasm and its underground area. The walking in genshin does feel slower now after playing WuWa but like, just walk bro. You don't need to think about it, just walk.
In case anyone misses yelan’s skill for running,inferno rider when pressed off combat allows you to ride the motorcycle.Very fun and fast way to travel(also ignores fall damage)👍
ToF: Double spacebar does not deploy wings but 2 does. Double jumping, vehicles, and waterboarding to make traversing easier.
WW: Wall running, jump dashing, grapple
Genshin: everything costs stamina, even breathing.

yeah, playing genshin is a pain in the ass now, you can't double rum, can't dodge properly, can't parry, can't graple ... the glider feels like shit and walking around feels like you are running through a swamp
Been trying to finish up some fontaine stuff before 5.0 and honestly same problem. The people on the genshin team need to break out of the "my vision" problem and start listening to community feedback before they loose their audience.

Even at launch I've always hated the lack of smooth character swap. There's also way too long of a switch CD.
Although, one thing I really like over WuWa is the Alt+# for instant burst.

YES. And i keep accidentally pressing R. And try to dodge while in a boss fight and completely mess up my momentum and i lose track of the timing and attack patterns. Safe to say, i died a couple of times with azhdaha this week.

Yup… I’ve been playing both, mostly cus I was saving up wishes for Clorinde (got her last night thankfully along with her weapon which I was not expecting to get at all. She was guaranteed but her weapon, never guaranteed on that awful fucking weapon banner) Anywayy, my WuWa brain kicked in and I was like “Clorinde is like The Flash of Genshin, I bet you can use her E-Skill dash while running up the wall, that’d be an amazing little special feature… nope, can’t run up walls. The Flash given shape (and WAHT A SHAPE IT IS) in Genshin and she can’t even run up a wall… Meanwhile some middle school girl that slings Vine Whips at enemies in Wuthering Waves can jump, then Tether Grapple herself, then dash/dodge midair into a wall and then proceed to completely vertically run up said wall with her child body but a giant Soldier mommy that uses swords and guns can’t do that… SMH. Technically NO Genshin characters can do this but I’m using Clorinde because she just came out yesterday and she’s supposed to be canonically one of the fastest characters in the game.
Who is faster adopted child or Soldier mommy if they were to race?

In Genshin and Star Rail you need to release the analog stick first. In Wuthering, you need to release the left arrow button first.

Ngl, after playing WuWa, Genshin feels super clunky and slow, characters move like they're in a tar pit. Playing Genshin just feels sad, if not for being invested since launch in the lore and some characters, I'd drop it completely.
I'd like to believe that new games like WuWa, Azure Primilia, Project Mugen, etc would shake them up, but my almost 4 years of experience with this game says Hoyo will at best do some half-baked MVP-type feature and forget about it.

Yeah when I quit genshin "temporarily" I was playing Roblox and when I returned I was like lambs to the slaughter I was a Roblox player so I tried double jumping, dashing but pressing attack instead, I also tried zooming out and I was annoyed to remember the zoom doesn't zoom out that far

yeah its not feels the same, playing genshin i RARELY find a bug, fps drop, glitch or stutering. Playing wuwa for 2 hours and i already crashed 4 times even after latest update.
sounds like a hardware issue more than anything. personally, I've been playing fine since the release of the game and only ever crashed once and that was before any hotfixes. p.s i have over 150 hours of playtime at this point btw

Some people are fine and some people have problems, my game has hiccups off and on funny glitches where after killing a boss it yeeted me 2054 miles from where i was in a non zone in the water. Recent one where i was doing a trial character and some kind of warning error came up and booted me from the game and started patches again

At 1 am yesterday this wasn't happening to me, everything was fine and I wasn't getting them confused.
At 1 am today, this sort of stuff happened to me. Although only 3 things happened.
1. It was kinda slow paced
2. I CANT FALL FORWARD (i hate it)
3. I tried running up the wall
-I forgot there are 4th member in my team
-I tried to wall-run
-I was confused there were no signal to switch character to activate the outro-intro skills

The one part of this i don't get is the grapple. We literally have the equivalent on the same button in Sumeru lol

@@yo_mi This actually made me realize that i didn't fully understand the mechanic in WuWa. I thought that you still had to have a defined grapple point just like in Sumeru, but there was just more of them in WuWa. So that's my bad.

The graple button changes when there are points we can travel, like sumeru.....but if there are none then the graple will just pull u up few....idk heights above the character.
I literally tried to double jump with Kuki Shinobu yesterday and being angry thinking I misclicked turns out I forgot Genshin could never 🤡🤡🤡
That grapple... It has already killed me 59 times .... Nani yo...😂😂😂
The only thing that makes me feel dumb is when I try to grapple cuz of how slow moving feels
I’m experiencing that too. I’m climbing up a wall and I realized that I can’t run up them anymore.
I stoped playing Genshin months ago and now after playing WuWa for a week or do if I ever go back to Genshin not only will I be rusty as hell but I will also suffer thanks to how much slower and stamina dependant the traversal is. Also the lack of slowdown after dodging
It's not even only Genshin.
I suffer from it with Honkai Impact, i press X to attack on my Controller and wonder why Thelema is just standing there being smug... until i realize X is the Weapon Skill and B is the normal Attack....
