with all due respect to the families.... loved ones and friends of those who perished.....the city of Oakland sits front and center in the blame game....they rolled the dice... and lost .... not only should this mayor be forced to resign ....but the entire council should resign ....the state should assign a special prosecutor to investigate the actions of that council and bring to bear charge as may be warranted.....the responsibility is given over to those who are elected and with that comes the authority to act....had they had the wherewithal to do so ...this would not have happened...First priority ?? to perform a city sweep of such properties and close them down.... to relocate the homeless in safe and appropriate centers for the good of all the people........
at this point in time...I have no knowledge whether these victims were In fact illegal immigrants. Some may have been ....but are you sure that all of them are ? if not then retract your obviously biased and racial statement...as far as I know ...these are American citizens....compare what you said to what I said above.....big difference....as I know it what I said is truth
