Good review as I'm thinking of getting one for lure fishing....
Great vid I got one of the smaller one but in xl few weeks back from sportfishtackle and I love it😉😊
I have got the large net in the new coulors they are selling. I can confirm the is no change in the size of the mesh. However i wish you could buy the extendable handle as for when your fishing banks its a bit short. Ideal for roaving on the canals but he option to buy the extension would be amazing to switch out handles
These nets appear to now be available in large mesh and standard mesh. The older models are still available brand new in the large and extra large. The newer foldable nets appear to have the orange colour in the frame and a black handle. The XL foldable net is huge. unfortunately the Savage Gear site doesn’t describe the differences in each net sufficiently regarding width and length and handle lengths.
It is a minefield. Try phoning whoever you are buying from. I should have.
I’ve been looking at buying the smaller of the two (Large) and was wondering what the depth of the net is in cm?
I’m not sure it will be the same as the one I have. I got mine from predator tackle, I’m sure if you gave them a ring they would tell you. If it’s the older version with the silver handle I could measure it for you

The old net I have with a flat bottom that I showed in the video is 65cm deep. Hope that helps. I find it ideal for fishing in the bank.

I bent my aluminium handle too 😢 where did you manage to get a replacement handle from please? Thanks
I didn’t I bought the new XL net and handle but didn’t like the XL head so used it with the old net head
@TheConstantAngler thank you for your reply. I dont think they make replacement handles with a locking pin system like you have 🥲. Ive been looking all over the Internet for one but only find carp ones... anyway, happy fishing 🫡
