Jane Fonda had had quite a bit of great, very-subtle work. She has had at least two face lifts. She has had her neck, chin, and eyes done. She told Prevention Magazine that she was finished with surgeries at 82, but imo, she had more on her eyes. Part of the reason people make such a great fuss over Jane Fonda and her looks is she is one of the only actors in Hollywood who has actually admitted to getting surgeries and doesn't tell us her secret is drinking enough water and using olive oil.

Just so everyone knows. Jane struggled with an eating disorder for many years. When you are struggling with an eating disorder, you are not taking care of yourself. An eating disorder is hard on your body. Despite putting her body through that; she still looks wonderful for her age.
Lots of celebrities suffered from an eating disorder for decades and still came out the other side looking good and healthy regardless. I personally think she overdid it…just my opinion. To each their own. One of the most beautiful women I saw after a makeover on RUclips, had wrinkles and lines on her face but she exuded such joy! Her inner beauty was just radiant, that I just was so happy to see a more mature women age gracefully. I’ll still never forget her face😊
Years ago when I was college student living in the Bay Area I was visiting a friend in San Jose. One morning I went to a Macys just when they were opening. To my surprise as I walked in as probably the first to enter the store who was standing behind a table set up with videos and books but Jane Fonda. I walked over and when I looked at her I noticed her beautiful blue eyes but mostly I was shocked at how weathered and sun damaged her skin looked and for her age how old she really looked. Up close she looked far older than her age. I’ve never forgotten how she looked in real life and actually how young she was at the time. I am amazed at what good plastic surgery did to bring back her beauty. I can only believe she’s had numerous surgeries since that day. Good for her she still looks great
I always admired Jane for standing up and showing females that we can make a difference. I did do her exercise videos everyday. Saying that I just wish she would of aged gracefully but I also realize her life is totally different than most people. Everybody is beautiful at any age
Liz looked really awesome in 1992 when she was on with Johnny Carson for her 60th birthday. Really close to how she did in her heyday. The '93 White Diamonds TV ads too.
Not a fan of Fonda and what’s so fascinating to me is I just watched an nbc interview w Justine Bateman who has 100% aged naturally and gracefully and her total acceptance of her beauty at her age vs now watching this about Fonda.
I agree… too much is placed on outer physical appearances. The most beautiful people I have ever seen or know, comes from within. Nothing is more attractive to me than a kind and humble spirit and personality. Looks eventually fade as we get older, that’s just life. But having an inner beauty is so much more interesting and appealing.
Totally not a fan because every time I look at this woman all see is her atrocious behavior during the Vietnam war when she earned the nickname Hanoi Jane. She purposely posed in solidarity with North Vietnamese soldiers, knowing the repercussions, which directly caused many young American (boys) soldiers to be tortured and killed. Her skin tone/texture is also amazing. I would assume she started HRT early in menopause, and has had numerous photofacials, fractional lasers etc... throughout the years. You can see some sun damage in her younger photos, but she has not a spot on her now.
I have personally discovered that hormones can really make a difference in your face. I’m almost 50 but nowhere near menopause so I have to be on birth control for very heavy and painful periods. Since I started taking the pill my skin feels so much softer and my wrinkles have softened as well.
I think that Jane is one of the most beautiful people who ever lived, alot of it is because of her candor. She is up there with Catherine Deneuve. She was smart enough not to mess with her face until she was in her 50's/probably 60's. She had very natural looking work done, and she looks great.

Well done to Jane Fonda for reaching the great age of 85 and for still being well and healthy and active. I will admit that I don't like the look she has because it's very obvious that she's had a lot of work done. Her cheeks look especially unusual (implants?). Her cheeks were nowhere near that full when she was a young woman with natural features. Plastic surgery is done well when it looks subtle and natural.

I have a question for you: Did you do something to your jaw line? You look a little different to me now. I am curious about procedures that strengthen the jaw line. Thank you 😊
I find her augmented lips are overdone. Very common with face work. I think Maggie Smith and Judi Dench had the right idea. They weren't afraid of aging and as a result they look REAL, and there's beauty in that. Every line is earned and admired. Jane joins other stars (like Dolly and Cher) whose age looks indeterminate - a young babe in an old body. It just doesn' t compute!
Agree, 100% - it’s because in Europe aging is considered a good thing and treated differently. I know because I used to live in the states and am now in Europe where I am allowed to age. No one judges you here and all the older people look great, naturally.
Aside from genes, Jane Fonda was born into significant wealth. Never once did she ever have to worry about money, which takes an immense amount of stress out of life. Not living under that chronic financial stress also has a dramatic effect on one's aging process. I think people forget to account for that as to why the rich, powerful, and famous don't age like the rest of us.
I hang upside down on an inversion table to not only help my back, but hopefully get taller and reverse aging. LOL -- By the way Jane has also admitted to breast implants, to please Ted Turner (I think it was Ted), but regretted that. I can't recall for sure, but I think she said she got them removed years later.
I love your videos. You tell me what I need to know, and with the most beautiful examples, as Jane Fonda. I'm 65 and ready, I live on the Nature Coast in Florida and know I'd have to travel to find a qualified surgeon. How do I go about finding one??
Haven't watched yet, but how about stellar bone structure for a start? Iconic for everything from politics, aerobics and my favourite (let's quote!) "I'm from the planet earth. My name is Barbarella!"

Could you do a video on Kenny Rogers? I always thought it was interesting he had plastic surgery in 1997 and it looked okay and then in 2005 he had it again and it really changed his appearance
Well, indisputably, the response to the title: "Jane Fonda's Secret to Amazing Plastic Surgery" is big money as well as research into great plastic surgeons and techniques. Was it Barbara Walters in an interview with a Vanderbilt/other high society woman, who said, "She told me her secret to looking good all your life is 'tiny tucks'." ie, small, unobtrusive rejuvenation surgeries over a few decades that don't trumpet "work has been done" but merely whisper it.
but I totally agree with you, it's ok to have lines around our eyes, etc, but I a little here and there I'm for... Working out is very important too, and eating right.
Aging well is an art form. It takes grace, a balance of indulgence and restraint and of course, the rarest of traits…common sense. But, that won’t stop me from being cool with ‘future help’❤
I just don't understand where this narrative that Jane looks "amazing" comes from. For years, prob the last 15-20 yrs, every interview comments on how amazing she looks. I'm a fan of cosmetic procedures and advancements, hence why I follow this page, but I'm genuinely curious as to what ppl are seeing that I'm not able to. I personally think she looks like Joan Rivers. just a little strange tbh.
I got to agree with you. She doesn't look amazing at all. She looks like a living barbie. Jane has gone too far with this new look. She doesn't look natural, just plasticy. Joan Rivers went the same route and looked unreal.
@@afr1952 It's funny, because just like Joan Rivers at the beginning of her documentary when she showed herself with no makeup, these women actually look terrifyingly scary. Like a monster movie.

hi Dr Gary, could you please discuss thread nose lifts in one of your future videos? it seems like a good way to mostly just adjust the bridge but i’m worried that it seems too good to be true, or it only works on certain types of patient :/
I feel so young and vibrant too, and that's why I would maybe consider a facelift. I watched a few interviews with Justine Bateman and her choice to NOT do anything to her face, and whilst I love that thinking, I am open to all possibilities. I even made a video about it on my channel. It's such an interesting topic.
Facelifts and other anti-aging procedures can look good but you still look changed-different than the original version. Maybe down the road there will be a way to look the same as we did in our 20’s/30’s.
Jane was and is gorgeous still. One thing: Her lower lip always catches my eye and not in a good way. It’s a similar look to Cher’s. Not sure if it is filler gone wrong or implants moving. The first time I noticed it with Jane was in 2023. Hope she can go back to a slightly more natural look around the mouth.
I noticed something like that in Nicole Kidman. I first saw it in the movie where she played a murder victim, can't remember the name of it. Like a newspaper or something in the title.
Didn’t she struggle with an eating disorder? She looks great, always has, but struggling with an eating disorder would help maintain her body & weight but isn’t a healthy way to do so.
Looking at Jane Fonda I would not call it good. She looks very differently and artificial. Sure, it could be worse but a lot of people look better with natural aging.

Jane fonda has always been gorgeous
I would loce for you to do a feature on Paul Rudd. He looks amazing for his age
Many facelifts, at least 3 eyes but it's done right. It's crazy she had hip replacements, shoulder done. So health???? Been through so much.
I love your videos. You tell me what I need to know, and with the most beautiful examples, as Jane Fonda. I'm 65 and ready, I live on the Nature Coast in Florida and know I'd have to travel to find a qualified surgeon. How do I go about finding one??
Thanks for your balanced post. Simple seems best. She picked her parents well; ha ha.
You did a great job of this video!
Haven't watched yet, but how about stellar bone structure for a start?
Iconic for everything from politics, aerobics and my favourite (let's quote!)
"I'm from the planet earth. My name is Barbarella!"
I guess you're not aware of her atrocious behavior during the Vietnam war when she earned the nickname Hanoi Jane. She purposely posed in solidarity with North Vietnamese, knowing the repercussions. The pictures made headlines around the world, which directly caused many young American (boys) soldiers to be tortured and killed. I have zero respect for this woman. To today she has never apologized but she sure has done a wonderful job of making sure people forget.
Could you do a video on Kenny Rogers? I always thought it was interesting he had plastic surgery in 1997 and it looked okay and then in 2005 he had it again and it really changed his appearance
She started out tall thin and gorgeous (look at her legendary Father Henry Fonda)
She doesn’t look like herself anymore. I can’t pinpoint what the surgeon did to cause that.
He's just spruiking for his own profession.
She looks amazing
She looks phenomenal, always!
Her face is much fuller now. She had a slim face prior, but looks beautiful nonetheless.
but I totally agree with you, it's ok to have lines around our eyes, etc, but I a little here and there I'm for...
I’ve always wondered what Dr. Motykie's heritage is. Anybody know?
And even went through the stress of twice cancer.
Jane truly looks amazing, especially at 85. Whoever is keeping her beautiful is doing a fantastic job. I hope I age half as well.
I believe Jane Fonda is on the record as saying that she had a facelift in the late 80's.
it's too bad she is part of the woke mob....I pray for the conversion of her soul. It doesn't matter what you look like it's what's on the inside that counts in the end.
I hope people will always remember her atrocious behavior during the Vietnam war when she earned the nickname Hanoi Jane. She purposely, knowing the repercussions, posed in solidarity with North Vietnamese soldiers. The pictures made headlines around the world which then directly caused many young American (boys) soldiers to be tortured and killed. I have zero respect for this woman. To this day she has never apologized.
She's a hateful liberal. And she ain't all that.
hi Dr Gary, could you please discuss thread nose lifts in one of your future videos? it seems like a good way to mostly just adjust the bridge but i’m worried that it seems too good to be true, or it only works on certain types of patient :/
…… but she’s almost unrecognizable. she looks good but not like Jane Fonda
Jane is so bourgeois these days.
She always was.. no matter what the video/camera showed us
Wow…tough audience!
Right? Some people are just cruel.
She remains the most natural looking celeb who had work done. She looks like herself!
LOVE your critiques. But please cut back on the over-editing, it's very distracting.
I think she looks overdone in her mouth area and chin and eyes. In her latest movie, she doesn't look natural at all.
GOALS!!
I have to respectfully disagree. She looks nothing at all like her earlier face. Not even remotely. Her mouth is totally different for starters.
Exactly. People have to understand that any plastic surgery, no matter how minor, is going to alter your likeness.
@@Jan0Van0Eyck Dr. Amir Karim does work where you cannot see any alterations of the face structure. It’s insane.
She was gorgeous when she was young. I think she looks a bit manly now.
Aging=changes in the face and looking different
@@thecat8503 lips don’t get bigger and cheeks don’t get plumper
I feel so young and vibrant too, and that's why I would maybe consider a facelift. I watched a few interviews with Justine Bateman and her choice to NOT do anything to her face, and whilst I love that thinking, I am open to all possibilities. I even made a video about it on my channel. It's such an interesting topic.
Her face , her choice!
Facelifts and other anti-aging procedures can look good but you still look changed-different than the original version. Maybe down the road there will be a way to look the same as we did in our 20’s/30’s.
She looks plastique.
She just doesn’t look like Jane to me. I didn’t recognize her.
Her lip caught your eye the same way the fisherman caught her lip.
I noticed something like that in Nicole Kidman. I first saw it in the movie where she played a murder victim, can't remember the name of it. Like a newspaper or something in the title.
Her secret is ait of money to afford the best, and know when and what to get done, fillers are the worst and very phoney looking!
I think she did it late in life and she have always had a healthy lifestyle; still I think she has too much fat in her cheeks
Agreed with this guy👍
Cloning
Didn’t she struggle with an eating disorder? She looks great, always has, but struggling with an eating disorder would help maintain her body & weight but isn’t a healthy way to do so.
Money! 😆
A famous model Paulina ?? A Russian name. She’s 58 has long grey hair and is gorgeous. She’s had nothing ❤️👍
yeah, Paulina is gorgeous, but LOOK AT HER GENETICS! No wonder she is still gorgoeus!
Paulina Porizgova
Amazing looking women
She looks great
She looks fabulous imo..much better than Joan Collins..
Joan Collins looks amazing!
I always thought Joan Collins pretty much looked like herself.
I don't know about Jane's genes, her dad looked old when he was young.
I think Jane had a good plastic surgeon.
MONEY
Nothing Jane Fonda can do is good. She has ground herself to a powder, all by herself.
Wow, that is so harsh and unkind!
@@jillsalkin7389 Maybe Jane shouldn't be so harsh and unkind to anyone who disagrees with her radical leftist politics?
I think Jane had more than one facelift. You cannot look the way she does in her 80s without another lift.
The last one was less than favourable. Should have stopped 8 yrs ago
Looking at Jane Fonda I would not call it good.
She looks very differently and artificial.
Sure, it could be worse but a lot of people look better with natural aging.
She’s pretty & she’s fit but she’s also not my favorite person.
Are you kidding?
She also went through a bulimic phase too?
Ya but can she talk?
Nothing that harpy could do would make her look good to me.
She looks ridiculous-of course she looks great she has done everything about ten times over.
