Wow! Pristine condition. I just picked up a 1966 Angler and thought it was in good condition but this thing blows the one i picked up out of the water.
Terry. I have the same one only mine is a 1966. My hood isn't as nice as yours but I found a person that makes new identical decals and I purchased them. I also have finally collected the Original 1966 Factory Owners Manual, Parts Manual, and Work Shop Manual. I want to paint the blue part of mine even though 85% of it looks as good as yours. Do you know what over the counter paint matches the Original Evinrude blue? Mine came as the outboard for my 1985 Catalina 22 Sailboat. I love the fact that it is so simple and weighs so little. I am getting great use out of mine but keeping very good care of it.

Terry. What is the white dinghy looking boat in the inset of your picture? It is the second one I have seen on RUclips but have no idea what it is or where to purchase one.
Hi Steven. There’s a small slotted screw just below the handle (port side) that adjusts friction between the base and the leg. Try loosening that up.There’s also a grease nipple a little lower in the center of the base and if it’s never been greased it might be gummed up in there. Hope that helps!
Terry, came here from reddit. Nice evinrude! I'm trying to make a 1982 9. 8 mercury 2 stroke to an ultra long. Any idea where I can get the 5 inch housing extension I need. Bay mfg. stopped this extension ten yes ago

I have the same motor ,since new , beautiful engine starts easy, only pitfall now is I'm in my 70s and it would be easier if it had a reverse.
got the same thing in a 5.5 hp doing the water tube under power head and the seal on drive shaft she gone

There doesn’t seem to e any manufacturer tag in mine but I believe there’s a few places in the NW building them.
That is a sweet old outboard for sure....Glad it found a good home that will treat it right and enjoy it...

Sorry I’m not real familiar with those but maybe a repair shop that’s been around for a while might have a dead one in their parts collection.
