  • It was time to reign in and re-organize my ribbons, twines, etc etc - So, also a good time to share the storage systems that I prefer. Use them as is, use portions, or stick with your own methods - I demo a univeral box top design and a SUPER gift idea for a beginner you might know. Sharing will always make you feel incredible! Enjoy.

THat twine box is one of the nicest ways to organise I have found on youtube super idea if you put a tiny slot in the card you could tuck the ribbon in at the start and make it easier. I have shoe box with a lid so I can cut a hole in that

Wow. That’s the best way I have been able to find and i hav3 been looking for weeks. Thank you ❤ How did you get the rubber band so snug on the towel holder?

It's been a few years, but since you have to cut the rubber band to thread it through the towel roll, you then knot it so that it's shorter than the length of the roll - and will still stretch. Actually, the hard part is finding a rubber band long enough to begin with . Over the years I will say that I've gotten rid of any rubber bands, it's just time consuming when you go to use a section of twine or ribbon to work around it. Now I stick with the 'notches' or 'straight pins'. Thanks so much for watching!

Thank you for sharing! I've been looking for a way to store my ribbon - taking them off an embellishment center and this is perfect!! I can't wait to get started. :-)

+Hilary McKillop Glad you liked my ribbon storage solutions, I'm up to 3 somewhat large 'homemade' boxes.. still have the spools. Check this out, a unique way to use all your ribbons, now that they're organized: "Ribbon Piecing - Background, Borders and Frames Creative Challenge" - at ruclips.net/video/ukDKsQPDdXA/видео.html
