There’s no trade package, KD is making +$50 mil and none of OKC guys other than SGA making that much. Also OKC gotta give up Chet or J Dub to PHX to get the trade done and that not counting HOU owning PHX pick 27 and 29 Swap (28 BKN swap is wash since both will suck)

Knicks are being aggressive and will be relevant for a while and them being a NY will be a destination for future stars as well. PHX in other hand will be the next Detroit Pistons so their pick will be coveted. All those picks NY gave out could be late first rounds so basically the best thing BKN got back today was their own destiny by getting picks back from HOU

As a Rockets fan, I would be so mad if they traded for a 36 year old Durant. That would be fine if you think he's the piece that gets you a championship, but the Rockets aren't there yet. Giving up substantial assets for a player at his age just doesn't make sense. Booker, on the other hand, makes some sense. He has enough years left in the tank.

@@PatBlackJRbut one team didn't pick all of the players you just named. The Nets will be lucky if one of those 5 picks ends up being as good as any of the names you just dropped. When people use stars who were late round picks as an example they forgot to mention the other 30 players picked before them that didn't amount to much. I don't doubt there will be some talent outside of the top 10, but the likelihood of landing that talent is like hitting the lottery which makes the pick low value...no one knows they're going to be good which is the reason they fall so low in the first place. Only top 3 picks have high value in the NBA, in fact in most drafts outside of the top 2 picks you're playing a guessing game which doesn't work in your favor most of the time
