Hi Gavin, thanks for this topic into the light portraits, i liked the demonstration with the torch on the lens hood. Easy to understand with that example. Also i enjoyed watching that Grid, I've never seen a Grid before in photography. Always learning new things at Adorama, just making a few little changes can make a difference in photography. Thanks for this topic and thanks to your team at Adorama.
Very good show. The black diffusion filter is terrible formmy taste. As for the sun effect, I'd like it better if you are able to move the back light away (there you dont have space ok)
In place of the black mist filter you can go “old school “ and stretch a piece of very fine black stocking over the lens. Old Hollywood technique. Great session Gavin, I’ve been a photographer for a long time and I still learn from your videos
Just tried to start watching this Liveshow recording here at my sunchair in Santorini. I thought Holidays, 35 degrees and sunshine would be a good setting to watch 🥵 But it’s so bright I can’t even see the first flare Gavin mentioned 😂 So I have to postpone it to late evening…
Our Studio has been at 30C for a month and stinks of forest fire smoke,,,too uncomfortable for clients and impossible to sit in front of a monitor for any editing!
she is gorgeous, she makes lights beautiful, she makes stars beautiful, she makes Universe beautiful
Lens flare.....A good practical example explained. You are a great teacher. Thank you.
Always an awesome lecture with Gavin... Thanks Gavin, thanks Adorama. Benjamin from Nigeria
I missed this one live - just getting back to watching it. Superb!
Excellent point about star filters, Gavin. There's more control in post than with a filter over the camera lens.
impressive results, very informative Thanks Gavin.
Love your work Gavin. As always, fantastic.
Thanks again Gavin and Chloe. Another good demonstration.

Saludos from Mexico,
Great video Gavin and Chloe !!! Really would love to do a shot like this !!!
My favourite shots are 36:30 - 37:40, producing a cinematographic feeling of space with Chloe as a superstar (super-duper 37:36 - 37:40)

What was the name of that adapter that you are using to hold the FlashPoint 100?

77 degrees Fahrenheit is not at all hot. I live in Wisconsin which most people would say is cold. Temps around 80 are ideal around here.
25*C in the UK comes with horrible humidity as well. Very uncomfortable.
