WARNING: There are some major spoilers in this video
thanks
Voodle Van Noodle too bad you're all the way down in the comments
Black Mirror is a great show. It is one of the few shows however I can't really binge watch... it gets draining very fast
Volox TV That's for sure it's just nice to watch 1 or 2 episodes every now and then when you're feeling exceptionally twisted.
The only problem i had with Black Mirror was that I couldn´t stop once i started. I always had to watch at least three episodes at a time.
Volox TV idk what type of drained you got but i got drained because i got so invested into one of the stories that i couldn't watch another one
Scquagilychicken yes exactly.
On a different note: How the fuck did i get so many +1s?
Volox TV Every episode is a goddamn masterpiece thar geta you mentally and emotionally hooked like holy shitt
1984 was briefly mentioned, but I was reading 1984 while watching black mirror episodes I made so connections. It was so "wow" for me.
With all due respect you need to watch White Christmas again, because apparently you didn´t really get it. It is false that the guy wasn´t real. He was real, he wanted to have a relationship with his daughter. However the copy of him (his conciousness) wasn´t real, and they god the confession out from the copy of him, while he was locked up in his prison cell.
Stefán Atli Jakobsson yea, I got it. But I wasn't going to explain all that though. It would've ruined the cadence of my speech. The consciousness of the man that was telling our story was an artificial copy of real consciousness. Thus, it was not real consciousness and the man was not real.
I get what you are saying, when you put it like that the message is clear. I did not mean to ffend you if I did (text on the internet doesn´t express emotion, so neither me or you doesn´t know with kind of tone we are saying the things that we are saying ;) )
i hate black mirror because once i've watched all the episodes, i can never get to re-experience the wonder of watching them for the first time ever again :(((((
FueledByDaria new season coming up 🎉
I bet some people thought they were gonna have to fight but then got struck with how relatable this is :0
FueledByDaria I’m almost done watching them all (it takes a while for me to watch in between episodes) and i was planning to rewatch once im done but ur right ah
honestly black mirror is a breath of fresh air I didn't know I needed
For me, "Nosedive" was pretty much the only happy non ironic ending. She was accepting of what her life was. She actually got to do what she wanted.
I'd like to think that the man from 15 Million Merits is going to keep "acting" until he can get to her again. The penguin in the last shot shows that he hasn't forgotten her, and I sincerely hope he's working towards a rescue of some sort.
What I love about Black Mirror is every episode feels like a slightly different outcome of the technological progression of today. Some aren't even in the future, but all those that are feel pretty real. Each one focuses on a different aspect that could be nightmarish if taken to the extreme and Black Mirror manages to take it to the extreme and still keep itself grounded. It's genius.
damn just realized that the guy from Get Out was in this
Or the guy from Black Mirror was in Get Out
Actually, it's the opposite. Fifteen Million Merits came out six years prior.
I'm Brazilian and my mom is against entertainment, but when she sees me watching your videos she thinks I'm studying something super serious

This is my fifth time cycling through every video of his and it gets better EVERY TIME! Well done Mister Amazing, my hat is off to you.
the background music is so good it is actually distracting
I love how u showed "the room" as a drama story
this is a great analysis. Love the edit, the dialogue, and tie-ins to the older films
Editing is on point... Yet again.
Really like this. The editorial style fits you well.
Love the way you edited that intro, the stab synced up with the music was both brutal and hilarious
Watched the entire thing in a week or week and a half. SO GOOD
i havnt had a channel that grabs my attention so easily for so long. thank you
This is possibly one of my favourite shows
The bit where he screws a pig is kinda funny, since it is a sly reference to speculations that David Cameron, the ex prime minister of Britain, screwed a pig for a dare while at Eton!
Alex Phillips surprisingly, that episode was released before the David Cameron scandal came out as a news story
Wow! Charlie Brooker must have men on the inside!
ivoblackwood are you serious?? omggg
I just finished the series and you did all the justice to it.
Black mirror is definitely one of my favourite shows, beautiful depiction of it! Plus i love how the music near the end had the actual sound effect of the merits dropping from that episode... nice touch!
THANK YOU!!! Now I can show this to people who can't comprehend why this is the greatest show ever!
I love the new video essay format!
15 Million Merits will always be the best Black Mirror episode. It's hard to top but also I've seen the quality drop from the first 2 seasons.
I dunno, your video gave me a completely different impression on the show. It does have many dystopian aspects to it. But to me it's an amazing anthology series where each episode is its own story. It's basically a modern twilight zone, and I fucking love it.
Thank you for explaining Dystopia
never seen a channel go from shitposting to video essays. good job bro
Oh shit how have I just discovered this channel, instant subscribe! Also Black Mirror is one of my all time favourite shows, watched it since it first aired in the UK, I'm glad so many people are finally starting to discover it.
I'm really happy the way this channel is going
You forgot the best part from ep 2 "15 Million Merits". The love interest was given no choice because of the drink ,Compliance, given to her to accept her degrading new job as a pornstar.
As for the lead he tricked the stage hand into thinking he already took the Compliance drink so he willingly sold out for a life of leisure.
That's why I love that episode so much
+Hugo Gutierrez I only realized this after I wrote the script. Makes the whole world a lot darker actually, as you could speculate everyone in the episode has actually been drugged.
15 million merits made me cry the most desperate tears of existencial despair i ever conceived in my life.
"kind like right now", haha, loved that bit.
Aaaand now I'm sad.
Charlie Brooker is a fucking genius- I was first introduced to him on his hilar yearly wipe feature on the BBC and Black Mirror just changed my view of the world and I think everyone should watch it
Really liked the way he used the music in the video
Came across this channel today. Already love you.
I love this show so fucking much. One of the rare gems on netflix.
No comments on this video in a year, let this be the rebirth!
Best show ever, finished the whole series in a day
I love this show
I was fascinated when I watched black mirror. It's.... different. But every story told was worth watching twice
Man I love Akira.
Im really happy how you channel has changed and the quality of your videos are amazing:D
Waltz with Bashir would seem like a good thing for you to tackle.
I've never seen the show, but I definitely don't want to. I see enough of this every time I walk outside.
This show and video are fucking amazing. Keep up the good work Mr. Amazing
I've been going back and watching some Mr.amazing these videos are so well put together every corner of the video was thought out and I think it's really cool also Mr.amazing got me into liking more vaporwave than I should. keep it up :)
Good job, your last videos deserve to be on TV rather than on RUclips, they're that good in my opinion.
They do it so well that I don't watch it. Couldn't even finish episode 2. Freaked the living hell out of me. :(
Such an intensely underrated show.
analysis of 'Language' by the Contortionist.
Good summary of this show. Well done, M.A.!
Bro I’m in love with your explanations
"Extrapolating the future from the present" - perfectly describes black mirror
I'm so glad I found this on Netflix made me so sad, happy, and downright depressed such a diverse show.
I actually love black mirror I can't wait till the next season
The intro of the video is beautiful
Love the editing...keep the videos coming!
MisterAmazing back at it banging out another banger.
You are TEARING ME APART LISA!
Now I gotta watch this show
Dude you are like the only RUclips I know that can make a good video anymore and has you wanting to watch until the end
Sneak3r_K1ng watch kaptain Kristian he also makes high quality video essays
yeah and all those examples don't spoil the shit out of the content without a warning first.
Liam Walls its your fault for watching the video Jesus Christ
nope - a lot of people watch these to see if a show is worth watching. i watched it years ago, but i feel sad for anyone who wanted to know more about this before watching it, and then without warning were told exactly how almost every episode ended. spoiler alerts are the standard on the internet for a reason.
Man you should get more subs, you put in a lot of work in your vids and i can tell. Better than most youtubers that are doing out there
This was a really well written video essay. That's all I have to say.
Black Mirror is the masterpiece of 21 century.
I love your videos man, I've been following you since your other channels
Excellent work man, this is great.
Okay. you do an amazing job in speaking your point. I would love to learn this amazing skill of yours one day
That was a great video man.
i love how you used the downvote sound from nosedive ase backround music
Really liked this video. You should do more of this type of content when you get the time in the coming months. ✌🏽
I don't think I've ever clapped at the end of a video before. That changed today.
Black Mirror was awesome! It was a surprise for me. I watched the first episode and was hooked.
Sure Black Mirror had episodes that did not stick well with me but the thing is, the ones I didn't like could be your favorite :)
Walk like an Egyptian just plays on the back
uh somehow missed this one but great work as always!
your videos are amazing im so happy i found your channel
The concept of "Black Mirror" made me think the show was just a dark reflection of ourselves and society. However the name Black Mirror comes from the reflective nature of a lcd TV or smart phone. Theyre black yet shiny like a black mirror and thats where the name comes from. Its a great thought but i always thought my first instincts were more poetic.
Black mirror. Ahh what a fucking masterpiece
You're a great editor! I feel like I watching a video with triple A prodution
Your water mark in the bottom right corner made me think something was fucked up with my monitor.
I really liked that episode where they upload their consciousness to a cloud
The best show I've ever seen on the best youtube channel. Truly, I must be dreaming.
Honestly love your content.
Your mannerisms remind me of nerdwriter. Love your content man keep it up
loved the video man, got a new subscriber here :) keep it up, dont worry about over burdening yourself, your quality is what will shine through
Love the video but I have to comment about your summary of Nosedive, which happens to be my personal favorite episode. While we are supposed to root for our main character in her drive to be happy and financially stable, I felt that, as an audience, we end up disagreeing with her as we see her put on a fake smile and make her decisions solely based on rising through the social ranks in that society and ends up being a mean, selfish person. However, when she meets the truck driver she learns that to be truly happy, she must get rid of the fake-ness surrounding her and her society and truly be herself and say what is on her mind, and she achieves this by the end of the episode when it seems like she has lost everything. She is left locked up in a cell, her social status all but destroyed, and yet, as she and her fellow inmate throw insults at each other, something that has been shown to be taboo in this society, we can see that both her and her fellow inmate are the only ones truly happy.
my fav channel! really is AMAKING!
I'm very ... interested. I'm mostly not a dystopia person as it gives me anxiety, but your review and explanation on the shows and episodes has made me want to check it out. Very good work!
legit scarred me when the woman screams for like 3 minutes at the end of white bear
amazing video, well put together, entertaining, loved it
There are so many people like you making these video essays on RUclips now.... I'm all for it but as a person who spends most of his time doing stuff non artist related, these are the type of videos I turn to too keep up with the media and have something to talk about with other like minded people.
I'm have mixed feelings over this but you did good, first video I saw from your channel, keep it up!
If your looking for suggestions, nobody has analyzed John Wick yet, why is the action so good? Maybe even look into GoT? Idk.
God damnit dude. Why are you so fucking good at this? lol Great work
White bear was poorly written and was a chore to watch. The directing in the military one gave me eye cancer, but the writing redeemed the entire episode at the end because i had read about that exact study just a week prior, so it was really cool to see how they spun that further.
The Lawyer and the Gaming episodes were the most memorable, and the best imo.
Season 3 was amazing.
You cannot change my mind; Black Mirror is the greatest TV Show I've ever seen
Trivia: Black Mirror refers to what I see when I shut down this screen.
Your content is amazing. As soon as I have some spare money im giving to your patreon.
