Ruby Falls looks beautiful!! I’ve never been in a cave that had an elevator, how cool!! Lexi watched this with me and she was happy to see Rosalie!! Lol 💕🎉
Hi Lexi. Next time we see you guys we should find a place where Rosalie and Lexi can play together! Ruby Falls is a new cave to us and didn't really know about it until the day of.
We went to Ruby Falls when I was pretty young. I don’t remember it much. I’ve been back to Chattanooga a couple of times, but have yet to make a return to Ruby Falls and Rock City (or is it Rock Gardens?). There’s a lot of Civil War history in that area. Anyway, thanks for helping show me why I need to return again
I have never heard of this place until we went. But based on the comments it is super popular and just like you, most went when they were kids. Now Rosalie can say that also. Doddle the travel bug said there is so much to do there but we only spent a little time there.
I love caves--this was so much fun! That is deep underground! Cave kisses are a cute name. Loved the things you could 'see' in the cave like the donkey and the feet. I've never seen a waterfall in a cave before--that's SO cool. Thanks for taking us along!
This is the first one I have seen with a water fall. All the fun shapes of the caves was fun to see for sure. A last second stop for us and totally worth it. have a great weekend.
Really love how you showcase these spots in the United States that we never considered visiting before. You and your family have given us such a different viewpoint on a country that Steve grew up in his entire life, but hasn't gotten a chance to really explore.
Funny part is we didn't know we were going to be in this State or place. I woke in Alabama and my wife was like we should check out Chattanooga, TN. That's how our family roll. Glad we are able to show case all the fun places to visit in the U.S.
It's always fun trying to find different things on an exploration like this. You can tell Rosalie is excited. 😆 The waterfall is super nice, especially with that lighting.
I really like how these caves are doing these colored lights. It really adds to its natural beauty. Rosalie is just like her Dad, gets excited really easily.
Haha so cool Rosalie got a "cave kiss"... that's really incredible seeing an underground waterfall like that, it never ceases to amaze us what nature is really capable of and how beautiful it can be!
Rosalie talks a mile a minute now. She is really finding her voice. I didn't know that a full waterfall can be found inside a cave! And the lights really highlighted it!
Yay!!! We love Chattanooga! I hope you are here for awhile. You"ll get so many great videos here. Ruby Falls is great. You give great tips where ever you go. Ha ha I always learn something from your shows.
We have never been there before. This was not on our list of places to stop. I woke up and Melissa was like we should check out Chattanooga. Glad we did because it is a nice area. We need to go back because this was the only thing we got to do. Glad you learn something from our videos. Trying to have the right mix of entertainment and education.
In the past year we have hit 3 and there are about 2 more that are on our radar! I did not expect a giant cave waterfall though. This one was truly unique.
Loved going on the tour with the beautiful Santo's family. Loved Ruby Falls but you won't find us ziplining over the Falls! Enjoyed the tour though the cave with the beautiful formations. The dragon foot was very clear and the underground waterfall was stunning. Thanks for bringing us along!
Thank you so much for the kind words. We weren't originally planning on going here but glad we decided to. Have been to several caves myself but never one with a full waterfall. Glad you enjoyed the tour.
Hello again Santos, this is such a great area. I enjoyed driving Rock City too when I was there last Fall. There is so much to do there. Nicely done! ☄️🌱🌞
I remember road trips as a kid and signs for Ruby Falls started at least 100 miles before you got there! “See Ruby Falls”. Such a beautiful area - nice that your parents were along too.
I was reading about it and those signs is why it is so famous. I'm surprised I have never heard of it before. Glad we were able to hang out with parents. It was just like the old days driving the minivan with the fam.
It was good that they were visiting my sister the same time as us. They said they wanted to join us on our day trip! Just like old times in the mini van.
We love exploring caves. I have never seen a cave with falls in it like that. Y'all saw a lot of cool formations along the way. I liked the signage detailing what formations to look for along the way. It was like a scavenger hunt. Thanks for taking us along!
That was our first time also. Didn't even know that would exist till we got here. I have always loved caves and in boy scouts when I was younger, we would sleep at the caves. What is your favorite cave?
@@SantosChronicles I have to say Luray Caverns is my favorite because Jack and I took our first vacation there! But they really are beautiful too. Luray is in the mountains of Virginia.
Awesome views from the tower. These Ruby falls are stunning. 😂 a “stalagmite you might trip over”. Great caves Carl. Very impressive. Great waterfall. Great adventure 👍🏽🤗🙏🏽
Ruby Falls is one of my favorite places! We used to live in the city and would there and Point Park often. Lots of history and interesting attractions.
This was our first time in this area. Everyone has been telling about all the other cool attractions in the area so we'll have to go back and visit, didn't realize y ou use to live in that area. Totally worth the drive for us.
Omg loved seeing your parents make an appearance!! Ruby falls looks beautiful. I’ve been to Chattanooga but haven’t been there yet. I love how they light the cave up with different colors though. My favorite formations have to be the potato chip, angel wings, & leaning tower! Those were awesome. Also side note, Rosalies enthusiasm for getting kissed by the cave made my night hahaha 😝
Felt like old days driving in their mini van. When we visited my sister in Alabama, they were visiting also. For the few caves we have been to, the colored lights seems to be the trend and I love it. Rosalie does everything with gusto and glad I was able to film that part.
I love her saying I gotta a cave kiss! So sweet! I went to Ruby Falls when I was about 16. Lord that has been a while ago! LOL I don't remember them having them named everyday things though. I love how they light it up.
Rosalie was totally into this cave tour for sure. Based on the comments everyone has been here as a kid so I'm glad Rosalie was able to go. This was my first time ever being here. The different colors really do make a difference in my opinion.
We visited my sister in Alabama and my parents were visiting also. So glad they were able to join us like old times. Driving in a minivan brought back some great memories.
Amazing video guys! Beautiful colours inside there loved it!! I would like a cave kiss as well ha,ha! Loved the crystal chandelier, tabacco leaves, the bacon, potato chips, Niagara Falls and obviously the main falls was impressive, I adore falls! Great that you took your parents with you as well! Wonderful episode! 💖😲
Thank you so much. The colors do make a big difference. I have noticed caves are starting to use colored lights more. Rosalie just cracks me up. Crazy how there was a real falls in a cave. Felt like old times traveling with my parents.
I really liked this place! Some caves it's hard to figure out how a formation got its name, but these were well named. So was the fall out shelter supposed to be in the cave itself? That's super interesting! I also love that you have this footage with your parents. Great memories being made. ❤
Our family has fallen in love with caves. But we have never seen one with a waterfall before. My parents was visiting my sister in Alabama so we were both there while we visiting my sister.
Loved Ruby Falls, they have signs for miles and miles on every road leading into Ruby Falls, Chattanooga is cool place too, we stayed in an old railroad car when we were there.
That's crazy because I love falls and for some reason I have never heard of it. Mammoth Cave is one I have been to as a kid that I want to take my kids to also, I wish we had more time in Chattanooga. That was our first time there. It was not originally on our list. I woke up last Friday and Melissa is like we should go to Chattanooga. That's how we role. I was a little nervous on that elevator. I was like what happens if it gets stuck.
This cave reminds me a little bit of the Carlsbad National Park with all the stalactites. Wow! 6 hours?? That waterfall is worth every minute of the walk, even if Lieles says otherwise.
Carlsbad is my favorite cave of all time. Feels like I am in the superdome in that one area. Ruby Falls was the first one I have ever gone to with a legit waterfall.

Oh wow, that's a really long wait... Steve's an over planner, so we'd probably have the tickets before hand haha... glad you made the most of it and who knew Babe Ruth visited there... the view is definitely worth it from the top.
So cool! 3 caves for Rosalie! Wow! I would love to do the zip line! I can’t believe how long it took to get to the bottom but it was so worth the the views. I really liked the thumbnail on this one Carl! Can’t wait to catch up on all of your adventures! ❤️💕
Zip line's are always fun. I'm still surprised that the waterfall doesn't go dry. They said it just keeps on going. Thank you so much for the compliment on the Thumbnail. That is one thing I'm trying to improve at for this year!
Love waterfalls! This one looks unique too. The whole family is together, but wait where was Addison? I am afraid of many many things but Lieles made me fall in love with ziplining. You should have done it, Carl. Rosalie is a trooper, she is not afraid of anything.
For Spring Break, I get Addison every other year so she wasn't able to make this trip with us. She was with her mom. Ziplining is so fun. Did you see the video of that little boy ziplining and ends up running into a sloth. That would have been scary. Rosalie is already asking about sky diving. She is like, you get a parachute. I have my hands full for sure.
ROAD TRIP! Indoor waterfalls....whoa! And usually, waterfalls seem like they go over a ridge. That just DROPS! That is a beautiful fallout shelter! Rosalie's been to more caves than most people go to MLB stadiums. She got a cave kiss!! Elephant's feet...dragon's feet...and bacon. Not too many places in the world would have that! Could stare at that waterfall..all...day.
This was part of our recent 8 days road trip. This was not even in our plan of places to visit at all. Melissa woke me up and said we should go to Chattanooga. I searched my roadside attraction app and saw this Ruby Falls. I thought it was some red falls nicely decorated at a mall. I was wrong, this place was amazing.. This was one of our favorite stops on our trip for sure. Rosalie is now officially a road warrior.
That was gorgeous! I'm gonna keep that place in mind! That'd be worth seeing for sure! Hahaha cave kisses! Rugged Mountain Mister wasn't sure what she was saying. I can't imagine coming across that while exploring. I've done a little spelunking and that would be amazing... although the crawling through might get the better of me! THAT was a super cool place. Love that building with the lookout too, that stonework was awesome!
Totally a great place to visit. Rosalie loved her cave kisses for sure! She talks a mile a minute so I have to sub title her. No way on crawing in a cave like that. I would be scared to get stuck. Always cool to have a lookout shaped like a castle! See you next week, I just bought a hiking hat!
Man seeing you guys there brings back memories! Watch your heads! LOL it was fun looking for all the hidden things made by the rocks like the elephant foot or the leaning tower. That waterfall is always so pretty to look at! First time I think I've seen your parents.. cool stuff guys!
Luckily we are so short we had no issues. There was a guy who was 6' 7" and hit his head several times. We love waterfalls but didn't realize they would have one in a cave. Totally worth the price of admission. My parents happen to be visiting my sister also so it was cool to be traveling in their minivan again.
That water fall looks amazing!!! We really need to visit Chattanooga since it’s not far from us at all. For the donkey one, all I could see was a pelican 🤣
There is so much other things to do there. So next time we visit you, we'll all have to go back and catch all the other things they have there! Pelican works also!
First time I ever went there I was probably just a little bit older than Rosie! I've been to Rock City a couple of times but it seems like every time we go there Ruby Falls tickets are sold out lol maybe one day I'll eventually get to see it again. Did you guys check out the moon pie museum in Chattanooga?
Seems like a lot of our comments stated they have been here as a kid. Now Rosalie can say the same thing when she is older. Wish we had more time here to check out all the cool things there. But this was part of our 8 day road trip. We'll have to go back to try that moon pie!
I've heard many things about this. The funny thing, is I've never been there and I lived in Chattanooga for 2 years, lol. I guess I'll have to put it on the list for another time. The falls themselves are amazing - sounds like you were lucky to go at a time where they were really flowing!
Crazy part is that I have never heard of this place until that day. My wife woke me up and said she wanted to go to Chattanooga, TN. So I looked and checked to see what was around and glad we chose this one. But I heard there so many other things to do there. So we'll have to go back for sure. That waterfall was no joke - I had no idea one could exist inside a cave.
This was a last minute add on. We have to go back ourselves because we need to hit all the other cool things to do in Chattanooga, TN. Thank you for your support and recognizing the work I put into these videos. These kind of comments keep me going.
I went to zip line place in WI and they said someone has to physically crawl over to you on their line to rescue you. Seems like a lot of work. Did you see the RUclips video of where a kid ends up hitting a sloth. All I kept thinking was how do you get him to the finish line.
It really just depends on which cave you go to. Some are pretty hard core and some are family friendly. I beet there are some beautiful ones there in Hawaii.
We were in Alabama and my wife is like we should go to Chattanooga, TN. So I looked around and found this place. I was surprised that everyone else has heard of this place. I felt the same way.
Great place to visit...it's amazing..
It really is! That cave was so cool and huge.
boom the legend is bk and what a places that is would love to go there
Such a sight seeing a full waterfall from inside a cave. Thanks for checking out our video.
Love an underground cave and waterfalls - Thanks for the tour!
It was super fun, and that was the first ever underground waterfall we have ever seen.
These are so amazing! I love all the colorful lights in the cave.
It seems a lot more caves are starting to use colored lights to highlight the formations. Glad we ended up stopping here.
The views are priceless, the cave tour is my favorite part.
The view from the top to the bottom were amazing here. Caves is starting to be a thing we are seeking now.

Thanks for the visit! Hope you are having a great weekend.
Love Ruby Falls and the Chattanooga area! Not far from my home!
Such a pretty area. We made a quick stop in that area and will have to go back when we visit!
Very cool! We were hoping to do Ruby Falls last time we were in TN but never made it. :( This was well edited and fun to watch!! New Sub! :D
This was a last minute add on. We have to go back ourselves because we need to hit all the other cool things to do in Chattanooga, TN. Thank you for your support and recognizing the work I put into these videos. These kind of comments keep me going.
Now this is our kinda place 😊
It's totally a fun place to go and I really like how they used color lights.
Zip lining looks so much fun!! I wonder what would happen if you suddenly stop in the middle of zip lining ! Lol whos saves us
I went to zip line place in WI and they said someone has to physically crawl over to you on their line to rescue you. Seems like a lot of work. Did you see the RUclips video of where a kid ends up hitting a sloth. All I kept thinking was how do you get him to the finish line.
I was just talking to Ron about going to see caves and I told him I’m kinda scared to actually go in a cave. 😆 but it does look cool to see all that.
It really just depends on which cave you go to. Some are pretty hard core and some are family friendly. I beet there are some beautiful ones there in Hawaii.
I went last Monday when I saw bacon and potato chips I knew I made the right decision 🤣😂 I loved the falls!!
This place is amazing. Crazy that there is a full waterfall in a middle of the cave. One of the better caves we have been to.
@@SantosChronicles did you go to see rock city too?
@@TheWilderLambs we missed out. We didn’t reserve for Ruby Falls so we had to wait a couple hours. We’ll check it out next tune we are there.
Forgot to leave my like so I came back to add one!! ;)
Thank you so much for going back and liking. Just answering the response since it has been a busy birthday week!
Cave kisses! How cute 💖💖💖💖Jenn
Rosalie is entertainment for us every day! Thanks for joining us.
What really theres caves in Tennessee?! I've been clueless this whole time!
We were in Alabama and my wife is like we should go to Chattanooga, TN. So I looked around and found this place. I was surprised that everyone else has heard of this place. I felt the same way.
a fallout shelter? interesting!!
what a life would have been a few days down there!!
It's a tight fit. You'll survive but not too comfortably. But at least it was option then.
Rosalie getting lots of cave kisses!
That might have been the highlight of her trip - who would have known.
Wow ruby falls in neat!! Check your IG messages!
Ruby Falls is one of our new favorites since there is a waterfall in a cave!
Rosalie is hilarious “cave piss “! We love looking at the creation that are made in caves This waterfall is incredible!
Rosalie is quite the ham and she loved this place. Crazy what nature can do all by itself! One of our top spots on our trip for sure.
