BJ only won a 'resounding majority' due to the flawed and undemocratic FPTP. In a People's Vote, Remain would have easily won

I don't know if it would have been that easy. The Tories led a clear leave campaign and won 43% of the popular vote nationwide. Brexit party won 2%. Lib Dems, SNP, Green were the Remain coalition and letter a total of 18%. Labour won 32% on their policy of renegotiating the deal and putting another vote forward, which doesn't indicate clear remain sentiment. Remember that the Tories ran on a "get Brexit done" platform as the central pillar of their campaign and won the biggest vote share since 1979.
The public was tired of the Brexit debate by 2019 but I think few people were outright remain. It was more common (as shown by the election results) for people to either want to get out and get it over with, or to disassociate from the debate altogether (Labour were heavily criticised for not focussing on Brexit at all, if you didn't care about the issue you were more likely to vote for them.)
Ultimately, almost half the country voted either Conservative or Brexit, with a very clear pro-Brexit message. The other half isn't as unified in anti-Brexit sentiment as some people imagine.
