6:27 Think about it as an isekai. If I’m Hajime Nagumo and I have a magical robotic arm, I’m not using actual muscles to control that arm I’m using magic. Take away my magic, I can’t control the arm. Same type of thing, where the quirk is magic, and if you take away the quirk equivalent to mana you can’t activate your powers. Hope that makes sense :3

This was a thought i had at one point, i just thought I saw somewhere that his tail was described as “muscular” in a way, and wasn’t sure if this simply meant aesthetically (which is the likely option to be fair) or if the muscles actually power the tail 😵‍💫 I accept that I am thinking way too hard about this but your point may just be the solution haha 😂

Aside from some levels where some tiles would move behind others this wasn't even 3D Minesweeper. It's just just a non-regular layout of 2d shapes.

In all fairness to this game, the later levels I don’t show off here make MUCH greater use of the movement and differences between the different planes. I agree with what you are saying, but in short the game IS minesweeper slapped onto a three dimensional surface, so it’s kind of a semantics thing in my opinion. Still, fair point and i appreciate both the feedback and your opinion!

@@kekboi4063 if you thought 3D minesweeper was bending your mind, you should try playing Optica. it adds rotation to the mix and not all parts of the puzzle rotate around the same axis

I would not call this 3D. Fundamentally you are still doing it on a 2D surface, just not a regular square grid.
Regarding the 4 ones at around 5 min in, consider the 1 on the left; it has 2 spots it can go. Either way, it is also seen by the next one in. That means the final square seen by that 1 can't be a bomb.

There are a lot of analogies between quirks and exercise/muscles (deku’s power is very reminiscent of when you push your muscles too far and they need to recover, uraraka trains to be able to lift heavier objects and for longer, quirks get exhausted and have a very physical tie to user’s bodies, in sure some more examples) so it makes sense to me to be able to take away the tail guy’s ability to use his tail muscles as it’s just a now literal interpretation of the quirk concept
