At first I thought siege units being able to move and attack with the help of a Great General was because of attacking with a siege unit cost said unit 2 movement points, hence why increasing their movement to 3 through outside sources allowed them to move and shoot. So it wouldn't be a bug but just an unintended side-effect of the code functioning as it should. But as seen at 2:17 where Ursa highlights this bug, the catapult only had 1 movement point left and was still able to shoot. So clearly some B-team spaghetti is in the code and I'm all for it.
Ursa: It's worth looking at Magnus for Black Marketeer so you don't need as many strategics. Also Ursa: Has yet to build a unit that requires strategics. (That knight literally fell from outer space)
I never seem to get the stars to align for aggressive early game warfare - always come up short on gold or production - so it is very satisfying to see this extended success!
The zone of control rules meant that the swordsman couldn't actually reach your GGen that turn. Nothing to do with the AI not 'falling for your trick' per se.
Alexander: likes civilizations that are at war with nations other than Macedon and dislikes civilizations that are at peace Ursa Ryan: declare wars other than Macedon Alexander: 0:42
I want to humbly request something from you. Can you make a video or some shorts about all the unit promotions in the game and about their use cases, special conditions (like the catapult move and shot trick), etc? I am primarily having problems with keeping track of the damn things throughout the game, anything beyond a 3 or 4-level unit is like a miracle, and if you pick something bad for your unit it's almost impossible or inefficient to backtrack. I know in the grand scheme of things promotions don't really matter but I am really interested in the subject and I would really like to hear your thoughts about it. Anyways thanks for the great video I really enjoyed it and keep up the good work :)
£442 - Of course the city that had no possibility of building the University of Sankore was less happy than the city that could theoretically build the University of Sankore.
13:59 Using great people to bait AI into bad troop movements is one of my favourite little tips I've learnt from Ursa
They're like invincible little recon units = )
If only we could get a mod with Ursa Bear sprites with machine guns
If only we could get a mod that played ursas piano music while we played Civ.
if only we had a mod to add Ursa's art into the game

I really like when you name units after channel supporters. Creates attachment to those units
I'll try to do it more often!

I think Divine Inspiration combined with Pilgrimage should have been the play if max faith accumulation was the goal.

Ironic that after conquering 4 city states, it was your great friendship with Aukland and Geneva that gave you a lift in your war vs Macedon
It was a type of threatening I think towards the city states = )

What's the name of the mode that adds a promotion icon to units?
Every time a RUclipsr says they get something in a game 'for free', it's usually something that they just paid for

Anti-cavalry is the weakest unit class with the best promotion tree!
It's so cheap to build that it often hold up so much better than people think!
